  1. Maybe this off season, Favre finally gets it right and realizes the game has passed him by, if not for any other reason than old merciless father time. I just don't believe he's up to he rigors of a 16 game schedule, let alone playoffs. This year it has also become glaringly apparent that old Favre has lost a few feet off his fastball.
  2. Ah, yet another Denney basher. While Denney isn't a highly talented guy, He does work hard, is at least capable of reading a play, and occasionally making one as well. Hard to fault a DE on an end-around when he's he lone wolf out there. Contain? contain what? There wasn't any other Bill anywhere near the line of scrimmage. If you want to go after a DE, start with "was there a game today?" Kelsay.... Here's a guy who almost never makes a play, or a rush, or anything other than to cash his rather large checks. The last play he's made was against Dallas, last year.
  3. Taking a making a few shots downfield opens things up underneath. The past few weeks, teams haven't given the underneath stuff any room because they weren't worried about the Bills going deep. An offense, as in life, runs best with balance.
  4. Good point
  5. That may be more wishful thinking than reality though. I believe Peters and his agent will be after top $$$ period.
  6. What? Kelsay is the .....well, he's....yeah, make the trade.
  7. As it's been said already, the call was correct. If anyone wants to be pissed, be pissed about the missed (or ignored) facemask calls.
  8. As it stands now, Johnson should be the number 2 WR, and have Reed in the slot. While Roscoe is a very good punt returner, he's a miserable excuse for a WR. I don't want him as our number 4 either......
  9. "Keepthefaith"....sounds like anything but......
  10. Again, a great synopsis. While the Denney comment may be true, he at least made a few plays out there today. How many did Kelsay make, who in my opinion is the guy we most need to see take a hike....
  11. Hard to argue with that.........
  12. Despite our record, and lack of playoff berth again, I enjoyed the win immensely today, but I'm also pragmatic and know we're not going to win many games when the opposition has 532 yards of offense, to our 275. Yet, the win was sweet......Merry Christmas..
  13. The only trouble with the Jet's game was that JP played all 60 minutes......Had he sat out the last 2 and a half minutes......
  14. He'll never be "quite normal", and deserves every dime he gets. I had always held out hope that he would become the TE we all wanted. He had a very good size-speed combination and from all reports, the Bills were looking for him to step up last year. I'll never forget that play....curses to you Denver.... Merry Christmas to Kevin Everett, and a happy new Year to boot.....Stay strong.
  15. It was an exciting game for Bills fans, but when your Defense gives up 532 yards, you're not going to win many of those. We gained only 275 yards, yet managed to win....
  16. Yes he did, but Freddie had the bigger plays.
  17. Exactly...............
  18. Did Chambers actually hold up decently today? That's a scary thought, having him as your starting LT
  19. The only question remaining is where Losman will be bagging groceries next year.
  20. Josh Reed is a huge security blanket for Edwards, and Josh has become quite a solid, dependable player.
  21. Hopefully, he'll recover.....
  22. This is what happens when people allow their emotions to supersede their intellect. The Bills finally get lucky and develop a pretty darned good player (yes he's had lapses at critical time this year) who now wants to be paid like LT's are paid. I don't agree with his holdout earlier this year, but if this team is ever going to be a contender, having a top LT is a good place to start. Never wish for Bills player to play badly, never.
  23. What debate? After the past two weeks, even the most ardent JP supporter would have to remain silent. I was in his camp last year when he was replaced, but while I'm no where near sold on Edwards (who has really regressed badly after the Bills hot start), Edwards is still the better option.
  24. On a decided right wing board, you sure have some stones. Let us add that no matter what or how Obama does in the coming years, the bar set for him by the soon to be previous president could not have been lower. Currently it rests at zero. There is only one way to go. Even if Obama ends up being a poor president, that would still be a huge improvement over what this country has had the last almost eight years.
  25. Hummm. Now that an avatar I didn't expect from Stuck.....
