  1. The new Bang cartoon is out for the week and features Marv and Ralph - check it out (and remember to keep your sense of humor). Bang Cartoon Mark Brunell!
  2. My thought as well - they missed Homer? D'oh!
  3. You did the right thing if you feel you ended up getting what you deserved - you lost a seat valued at $x and you got that same $x back (although an offer to play LT for a game or 2 sounds tempting, especially if you get to keep the uniform and the game checks). Good thing you didn't mess with karma - hate to think you'd have to spend the rest of your life crossing things off a list...
  4. Frontline had an excellent piece on the Meth epidemic based on this prize-winning series done by the Oregonian - these pictures were in the Frontline story as well. You can actually watch the full program online: Frontline
  5. Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, this is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk. But Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now think about it; that does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, [approaches and softens] does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests. Here, look at the monkey. Look at the silly monkey!
  6. You have a very warped sense of what is "rational" and what isn't. You blast Bills Daily for their grades and think that they are irrational, and as best I can tell you base that on not agreing with them. I'd say you had a point about someone being irrational in their opinions if they had said that JP should be traded, Jauron should be fired, or the team should purposely lose their remaining games to get a better draft pick - that's irrational. I don't think that giving JP a bad grade for his performance or pointing out that he overthrew a deep pass is irrational at all - those are pretty much facts as I see them. I've got a problem when you read the grades and accuse Bills Daily of being irrational - they're not at all.
  7. Uh, so people on a message board, or people that run a Bills site giving their own opinion is not allowed in your world? They have to "think rationally" because their viewpoints don't match yours? Here's an idea for you - why don't YOU go start a Bills site, update it daily, provide a service to fellow fans and give your viewpoint? Why not? Because it's too much work and it's just too damn easy to sit back and complain about others who don't see the world the way you do. Seriously, you need to get over yourself. You don't like Bills Daily or the opinions on this message board, DON'T READ THEM.
  8. Ah yes - another reason I don't play in a Yahoo league - they don't even care to categorize players into their correct positions.
  9. How is Colston a TE?
  10. Yeah, the same comment I made 8 hours before yours didn't get a response, either...
  11. They put Troy Vincent on IR for a hammy pull, so I guess with a broken foot the Bills would probably just shoot the guy as a mercy killing...
  12. The Rochester D&C had to do this when they were the top Bills board, and thus was born a little place we like to call The Stadium Wall...
  13. More like, "Wow - after 20 years in L.A. we finally win the big one - if the Lakers can get 25,00 fans per game, maybe that many people will go to a football game, too".
  14. Eddie killing Night Ranger - classic!
  15. In Texas can't they just pull out a gun and shoot you on the spot for just about anything, like taking your property and not giving it back? I'd imagine the same laws of the west also hold in Oklahoma. That stuff might work in Vermont, but if I took a car from a Texan or Oklahoman I'd expect to see bullets coming my way...
  16. You have to have a REALLY bad fake if they label an authentic as XL, XXL, etc. The fakes out there now still show a numerical size - 52, 54, etc. just like the authentics but they aren't. Just because it has a numerical size doesn't mean its the real deal.
  17. Although you wouldn't know it living in the U.S., the biggest, most coveted trophy has got to be the World Cup (soccer).
  18. IF you know what to look for. I didn't. Not a big deal - I got a $65 jersey for $65 - I didn't hit the home run I thought I was hitting.
  19. The tell-tale sign of the McGahee fake is that the small "c" on the back is only single colored - it is not "highlighted" by another layer of letter (although the big letters are highlighted). I was trying to see if Eastbay was legit and the picture looks like it shows a real jersey, but it could just be the picture. Rule #1 of buying a jersey online - make sure you get a picture of the actual jersey for sale, not just a catalog image that could have come right from the Bills store. Rule #2 - don't trust feedback saying the jersey is authentic - people are generally cluless.
  20. Never said Rex Grossman was great, nor did I say the Bears offense won't have issues with the Bills. What I am saying is that the Bears defense has looked good and I believe they will give the Bills problems - I really don't see how the Bills win the war in the trenches when they're on offense and that leads me to believe they'll have a tough time putting up points and will likely lose.
  21. How??? We are suddenly going to develop a strong vertical passing game? How many deep balls has JP thrown this year? I think JP is capable of throwing the deep ball, but I just can't see how suddenly the Bills are going to go vertical. Losman's long on the year is 51 yards, which was almost all after the catch. He complete a 27 yard pass and a 30 yard pass late in the Jets game when they were playing prevent. Don't even get me started on how little time I think JP's going to have to throw - hard to throw the deep ball when you're running for your life or being pounded into the turf.
  22. I wouldn't say I bought into the hype. But I did see a very good Bears D absolutely dismantle a decent Seattle team - they completely dominated the Seahawks O-line - it was pathetic. Taking off rose colored glasses, the Bills have beat 1 bad team (Miami) and 1 medicore team (Vikes). I'm happy, but I also realize that the Bills haven't beaten any quality opponents yet. I also realize that our own offensive line, while better than it has been in the past, is far from great. I'd say it ranks below the Seahawks and those guys got pounded. Add to that the absence of an o-line starter and I think you've got problems. I like JP, but he hasn't really shown (or been allowed to show) anything more than a ball control offense. Think the Bears are going to respect the deep pass? I don't - I think they're going to stack the line and force the Bills o-line to make some running room for McGahee - I am not optimistic about that. When was the last time the Bills were great on the road? (go ahead and say Miami - once again I'll tell you they are a terrible team at this point). I don't think I'm buying into the hype when I predict Bears 20-6 over the Bills in Chicago - I think lots of people are buying into the hype that the Bills are one of the better teams in the league and are going to beat one of the better teams in the league in their own house.
  23. The markets is FLOODED with fake "authentic" McGahee jerseys - unless you've seen a true authentic jersey you might not know the difference. I got one on EBay after reading a few hundred feedbacks where people confirmed these were authentic - I got mine for $65. Before I opened it up I knew it was fake - it just didn't weigh enough. Real jerseys (I have a Bledsoe authentic) are really heavy weight material. The spandex sides are heavy weight. The elastic on the sleeves is heavy. The letters are heavy and stiff. In hindsight I don't think the EBay feedback was bogus - I just think people got fake jerseys and didn't know they were fake so they left feedback saying these were authentic. The fakes look pretty good, even down to the NFL tags, but if you put it up to a real authentic you'll know the difference immediately. I'm happy with my fake - it probably about the best jersey I was going to get for $65 (I really wanted to have sewn on letters - I hate the screened jerseys). It's possible that the ones on EastBay are real, but keep in mind that these normally sell for $200+ and there are lots of fakes on the market - at $89.99 are you getting lucky or scammed?
  24. You giving that action? I'll take $10,000 on the Bears +32
