Yelling is the wrong term - finagling is more like it. Just the fact that they force me to come begging and negotiating with them is beyond frustrating and in my opinion, absolutely horrific customer service. I'm tired of being a longtime customer and not getting things others are getting - ever. F those guys.

SOOO tired of DirecTV and their BS. I have been a customer for more than 15 years and NEVER ONCE was I given any sort of free or discounted Sunday Ticket. I have to call up and haggle and yell at them EVERY YEAR to get something. My mother was even given free ST one year and she doesn't watch football. It gets so annoying to be a longtime loyal customer who gets treated this way and as soon as I can get rid of these %*&&^% I'm going to rip the dish off my roof and send it back to them in small pieces, postage due - it'll be a great day...

Saw a tweet from the film maker that in the school scene Dawson is carrying the bag of camera equipment because he wouldn't let her lug it around - not great for the shot, but shows the character of the man....

Dion may be one of those guys who never really thought about coming to Buffalo, but so embraced the community as home he may never leave - there's a reason some retired players have stayed here and I see Dion being one of those guys...

-My wife got my into Springsteen by taking me to his shows. You go to see him and you leave saying to yourself, "man - that was a great show - he was really on tonight - you could feel it - we jut saw something special". And then every time you see him, he does the same thing - the guy in playing a great show EVERY night. Tim Wakefield. Saw him play third base for the Welland, Ontario Pirates in single-A ball. We relentlessly razzed him as we were Niagara Falls Rapids fans sitting on the third base side. After the game as Wakefield was walking to the school bus to take the team back to Canada, he looks for us in the parking lot and challenges us to a fight. Dude, I'm not gonna fight you - go get on your school bus. Years later he makes it all the way to the majors and he's pitching for my team, the Red Sox and I have to cheer for him... Of all the guys on that single-A Welland team I bet nobody went on to a very successful MLB career, and that was the guy we picked on...

Mac Jones becomes the next Baker Mayfield - lot of early hype and making just enough throws to show he's got something...something that never gets to the next level and after years of waiting for him to become a franchise QB they realize it isn't going to happen in NE (but he goes to another team convinced he can develop into a great QB and he becomes Jimmy G part 2).

So has this now been pre-empted because Arians quit?

Let's not kid ourselves - a big spike in new cases/hospitalizations/deaths and some measures will come back. It's great that we can drop this stuff now, but the situation is never flat and we have to be able to react to changing conditions.

Sadly I disagree. If you include teams from major markets and/or large national followings like Dallas or Green Bay you're guaranteed to get people tuning in, especially before the season has started and everybody is starting with a clean slate. Whether we like it or not, Buffalo is a small market team with a limited national following. I think we are heading in a good direction because the Bills are a good team and Josh is really fun to watch, but we don't have the guaranteed viewers that a Dallas or San Francisco would add to an opening game against the Rams. They can plug Buffalo in later in the season once they are contenders to be tops in the AFC and have a lot to play for but out of the gate week 1 I'm betting they go with the guaranteed bigger market team.

Exactly. This isn't about it being a good game - it's all about big TV ratings to start the season and that means small market teams like Buffalo are at a huge disadvantage. Buffalo vs. Rams may be the game the fans feels would be the best game, but Dallas or San Fran would be bigger TV markets and that's all that matters. This changes a bit if Buffalo can have sustained success and grows their national fanbase like we did in the 90s and KC is doing now, but that's the only time small market teams figure into any of this...

It doesn't have to be back to back plays - multiple infractions on the same play, if deemed to be purposeful clock manipulation, can be called for the penalty.

You can only hold 1 player - if you're holding all over the place and it's obvious the rule applies - it does not have to be multiple plays.
