  1. Wow - big warning about the link in my earlier post - as this was published in the Milwaukee paper all times are CENTRAL, NOT EASTERN. Add an hour if you're on the East coast (7pm in Milwaukee = 8pm in Buffalo) - sorry for forgetting about that!
  2. Ah yes, Bills clock management at the end of the half - always interesting to see what they do...
  3. Thanks for posting, Jack - I remember you posting the master list of TV specials last year and it was very helpful for knowing what to watch/Tivo for the kids. I found a list holiday programming across ALL the networks this year that might be helpful (from Milwaukee, so in addition to the networks some local channels are listed): List of 2009 Holiday Programs - All Networks EDIT: As this was published in the Milwaukee paper all times are CENTRAL, NOT EASTERN. Add an hour if you're on the East coast (7pm in Milwaukee = 8pm in Buffalo) - sorry for forgetting about that!
  4. What else is he supposed to say? Even if he thought he was a clown with nothing to offer he would have to say something courteous - that's just protocol......
  5. I agree 100%. Maybe people from WNY are so used to the abuse and knocks on the area that they have become overly sesitive by any perceived slight to the region or the team. I'll admit that some in the national media have taken the current situation to dump on Buffalo, but it looks like even people who like Buffalo are getting beat up for suggesting that Buffalo may not be a top pick. To me it looks like are 2 camps - those fans that think Buffalo is a great place and talk of being passed up by some candidates it stupid - if we offer enough why wouldn't someone take the gig here, and another camp who thinks that despite the deal the Bills may offer you still might not get any interest from some candidates. People are jumping on the folks in the second camp for merely expressing that opinion. I think we all agree we would love to have an established big time football person in the organization whether that is on the sidelines, in the front office or both, but don't attack fans who think that might not be the most likely scenario.
  6. The funny part was you didn't see it on the original play, but they showed the slow motion replay from another angle and there was Devin, mooning millions of viewers (not his fault) - so bad that the guys in the booth didn't say anything - they just let it slide. Here's the Video
  7. I would have nominated Devin Hester getting pantsed on slow motion replay - that was pretty damn funny......
  8. Fewell's got to know that this organization doesn't have much ability to go with someone without a proven track record. He's got to know that nothing short of completely turning this team around and having them run the table or come damn close to that isn't going to be enough to put him into serious consideration. In the past perhaps he could have been a serious contender with almost no experience, but not at his point.
  9. By the time this starts Ralph will have missed his bedtime
  10. Good Lord - nobody at OBD knows how to setup a microphone and podium? Do these people ever do press conferences? Looks like the sales guys at my office trying to setup a projector....
  11. Yep - here it comes - the offense decides they'd rather be resting on the bench watching the D get exhausted and stampeeded - my guess is that Johnson puts up a hundred yards on us in this quarter alone...
  12. Bounced off them like a pinball...
  13. Excellent - another patented Bills waste of a timeout because they don't know who the hell is supposed to be on the field...
  14. Playing for the FG...
  15. That 2nd down play where he got sacked for 9 yards he had plenty of time to throw - just looked like RJ holding the ball until he got smeared...
  16. Wow - that was actually a nice throw....
  17. Yeah, because our TE has 4.2 speed and shiftiness - give him some space and he's getting that 24 yards...
  18. TE looks like RJ holding onto the ball and refusing to throw. I love the 2 yard screen on 3rd and 24 - classic Bills playcall....
  19. Gotta love getting burned on a blitz where nobody gets anywhere near the QB...
  20. 8 in the box and the guy makes it look like a hot knife through butter....
  21. What's booked for the halftime at the Pro Bowl.....
  22. For as much as we, the fans, want to see sweeping changes in both coaching and the FO, I see no indication that any of that will actually happen. We scream about how bad things are and how long things have been bad and can show that the root of the problem is the FO and the coaching staff, the media reports on it and still we don't even get an acknowledgement from the organization that they have a problem. Not that admitting a problem would make much difference - I recall Ralph compaining about the team simply not having the talent and then doing nothing to change that. For as much as we all can't imagine that changes wouldn't be made to at least get us pointed in the right direction, I don't see any signs at all that we'll actually see any action taken. You think you were stunned and amazed Jauron wasn't fired after last season? Wait until we suffer some even worse 2nd half of the season defeats (yes, it always seesm to get worse when you think it can't) and finish with anywhere between 4 and 7 wins and Jauron is retained in the name of continuity or some other BS - then you'll really want to go on a rampage. Start removing sharp objects from your house - I really think that's what happens.
  23. The Bills will defer on the kickoff...
  24. Yeah, Trent has shown flashes of something greater, but so did Rob Johnson - as I recall he looked great in a game for the Jags before we traded a first round pick for him. I also remember Billy Volek looking good - where is he? It's funny to see that we are saying the exact same things about Trent than we did with JP - "he's shown flashes", "he could be very good with better coaching", "if he only had an offensive line around him". Newsflash - Trent has decent receivers and his problem hasn't always been poor OL play - even when he's had time to throw he's looked pretty bad. I think it's far more likely that our wonderful talent evaluators missed on another QB that only we seemed to love than it is that we somehow have a great quarterback who just needs better opportunities/circumstances to show his greatness - what do you think?
