I had to laugh when I saw the obit on the news and it started with "Actor Ned Beatty, who made a big impression in the film Deliverance and went on to play many memorable roles...". Translation - yeah, we all remember that scene and while we're not going to mention it directly, we know that's what you think when you think of Ned Beatty....

What movie(s) have you seen countless times? Over the weekend I was watching My Cousin Vinny for well over the 100th time (I have a rule - if your flipping channels and it's on, you have to stop and watch it). I absolutely LOVE that movie - still funny after seeing it triple digit times - Pesci really should have done more comedy and Marisa Tomei EARNED that Oscar with all the little things she did to animate her character (seriously - watch when she is on the stand at the end - the non-verbal things she does are brilliant).

She's quite the athlete. The things she does in the floor exercise make you question whether the laws of physics apply to her.

I've had some peaches that are to die for, but this seems cheap if they really are that good...

And afterwards they all went down to the diner for lingonberry pancake......

Horrific and senseless. That a group of scared young people with rifles would open fire on another group of protesting young people - FELLOW CITIZENS - is something that cannot be forgotten and certainly never repeated.

I really thought Rob Johnson was going to be the man at QB - couldn't understand why anyone would play Doug Flutie over him.... I also had really high hopes for JP Losman - did that guy EVER have a great game for the Bills?

Yeah - let's hope the boosters have less side effects - I'd hate to think people might skip needed boosters because they don't want to have to repeat feeling bad for a few days - that would not be helpful into beating back this virus. I get not wanting to feel lousy for a few days, I just hope it doesn't scare people from continuing to cut down on the number of available viral hosts.

Nice! Can't imagine how tough his childhood must have been but it's great to see where he's at now. St. Jude really is a wonderful place for kids that need top notch medical care!

I wonder what reactions will be to 3rd or annul boosters - looks like that's the direction we are headed. It shouldn't be a surprise that your 2 shot Pfizer/Moderna or single J&J wouldn't last forever - it'll be interesting to see how often we have to get these based on the antibody levels at certain times from your last shot....

The peace of mind is huge. Both my son and I have medical issues that put us high risk categories and I take immunosupressive medications. If I had gotten covid I was probably a prime candidate to end up in the hospital and potentially dead. Getting this vaccine doesn't make me bulletproof and I know I can still get the virus (although my chances should be greatly diminished), bust just knowing a worst case scenario would likely see me sick but not hospitalized or dead is a huge weight off my mind - I can't tell you how much better it feels without that mental stress after more than a year...

Yep - I'm 1 town over from Westford. We still can't figure it out - kids grew up in the same family, same/similar teachers, etc. and my son doesn't hang out or have mentors with strong accents - he just says some words with a strong Boston accent that his sister does not have - always thought it would be a great study in language development. I have known people from Boston that you would never knew grew up here until they had some drinks - then suddenly you could barely understand them - funniest thing to hang out and see it happen....
