Fitzpatrick's veiled criticism of Dorsey?
DrDawkinstein replied to The Helmet of's topic in The Stadium Wall
We watched for 20 years, anytime the Pats had Down and Short they ran up to the line and snuck Brady on a quiet count. And got their 3 feet every time. We finally started doing it, but then stop. This aint rocket surgery. Maddening they cant figure it out. -
The helmet only came off because Bernard was pushing him by the facemask. The punter took his helmet off and it hit Rousseau because Bernard had been engaged. He did not go Myles Garrett and swing it around willy nilly as a weapon.

No. Buck up and get those 6 inches.
-
ALL the juice was on Tampa Bay -9.5. When they got the ball down 14 I said "Here come the flags until they score". Sure enough. Took em long enough but the refs made sure it happened. The ref's had the Bucs to cover as well.
-
A lot of words for a very simple situation. You need 6 inches. Go get em. Absolutely inexcusable to have 2 cracks from inches away and not even make a single attempt at the simplest solution.

One of the better interiors I've ever seen in a WNY home. Good find. edit: made it through all the pics. I HATE how every nice house in Buffalo still has the entire back covered in vinyl siding. So weird to cheap out there and makes the house look so bad from the backyard.

The goal line situation occurred on the 2nd possession. Well before Josh went to the tent. And it's obviously NOT a good idea because we walked away with no points. Should have snuck it. Twice if need be.
-
He's really just getting into shape. Obviously not going 100% off the ball. Doing more to set the edge and watch than rush up field at the passer.
-
It was the 2nd possession of the night and before he got banged up. No excuse not to be aggressive that early in the game and get the easy points. No need to be cute.

Why is this team, and staff, so dumb?

3rd and inches AND 4th and inches. TWO cracks from the half yard line, and we line up shotgun both times. Dont get. Leave 7 points on the board. Disgusting. -

I dont agree with points 1, 2 and 3 at all. Especially Taron. He does enough to earn leeway on mistakes. But completely agree with 4, 5, 6. This coaching is killing us. -
And then do it again on 4th down too. Directly cost us points. No doubt about it.
-
Need to ditch the 12 BS and go 5 wide and up-tempo. Be a real offense. Get everyone involved. Get everyone engaged. And most importantly RUN JOSH. The early run tipped the numbers back in our favor and it made everything easier. Cant get away from that. McD hates putting teams away.
-
This game proved to me that we are a team with a lot of individual talent that is being poorly coached. Seemed that coaching was more often getting in our way than helping us succeed. Just let the boys cook, and get too-cute Dorsey, and charmin-soft McD out of our way.
-
Tonight just proved the Offense is better without Dorsey and his ideas. Back to Josh running. Back to Josh freestyling. No TEs so no 12 personnel crap. Dorsey only got in our way with his bull#### shotgun plays from 3rd and inches and 4th and inches at the goal line. Literally cost us points. Just let Josh run the O.

I was just about to post "Just avoid the Duff's on Dick Rd in Depew", haha. I had a horrible experience there. Granted it was about 8 years ago now, and things change. But that is where I discovered the whole "We just license the name, every franchise is independent" because they were not good there.
-
Neither are great. But Duff's has been better than Anchor Bar imo. Not saying much. It also depends greatly on which Duff's location since they are all independently operated and just license the name and wing sauce source.

Side note: It's absolutely CRAZY to me that we need to defend criticizing NFL Owners and convicted/settled deviant players. But not surprising since accusations of racism and/or sexual assault always trigger a large portion of TBD members. Which is very telling. This was a thread to laugh at the situation the Same Ol Browns have gotten themselves into yet again with Billionaires blowing millions of dollars on bad decisions. No one here needs defending. End of the day, Haslam, McNair, and Watson are and always will be in much better situations than any of us. Enjoy the schadenfreude while we can.

McNair (Bob) got in some heat with his "dont let the prisoners run the jail" line when referring to players. Cal certainly isnt the worst of the owners, but none of them are that great. Most are scumbags in one way or another. Even our own fracker. His association with Tony Buzbee when all this Watson stuff hit still reeks of retribution, even if it did help bring the abuse to light. It seemed like Cal was happy to sit on that info, and even help Watson, until he needed it for leverage. And his love of Easterby always gave me the creeps.

What about it? Up to you and each individual how they want to handle rumors from decades ago. Those are tricky. But when there are actual court cases and even criminal charges, like Watson and Bennett, it gets pretty cut and dry. It's kinda weird you're bringing this up here. Rumors that are 30 years old are NOT the same as charges/lawsuits/information that have real, verified details and personal and professional consequences. Almost seems like youre arguing that since we cant hold those old guys accountable, we shouldnt ever criticize modern-day scumbags that have actual evidence against them.
