  1. If you cut them, you owe them money. Suspending them is effectively firing them with cause. The locker room stuff is just normal operating procedure that is being highlighted because... twitter. But also interesting because the Colts are technically in the playoffs so there would be a chance for these players to come back this season after 3 games, but nope.
  2. My man, if youre going to throw out a thread like this and then get personal with anyone who disagrees with you, I'd suggest finding a more productive hobby through the holidays. What more insight do you want there? You said the Bills O under Dorsey was the worst coached offense in the NFL?!?!? That is a MAJOR absolute to throw down, and absolutes will always get criticized heavily. Rightfully so. Watch the Panthers. Watch the Falcons. Watch the Raiders. Watch the Bears. Watch the Patriots. Watch the Cardinals. Cmon man. Although on second thought, starting pissing matches with both BADOL and WEO might be some quality entertainment during this slow week. Proceed.
  3. I dont agree with OP that Dorsey was the main reason for the whole-team collapse against Cincy. I do believe Dorsey was absolutely the topic behind the Diggs/Allen spat, and exactly who Diggs was referring to when he was yelling at Josh to "Stop listening to HIM!" Diggs knew Dorsey was ruining Josh by feeding him BS scheme rules like "If you see 1 high Safety, go long to Davis" which Cincy was baiting us into all game while Diggs was open underneath. But the whole-team collapse was absolutely a culmination of all those things that happened starting with a mass shooting and brother dying, and only spiraling further from there.
  4. 2 years ago, that was a burn on Dak. Now it's an unintended insult to Kirk. Dak WISHES he was Kirk Cousins. And this fan is totally fine with that. Football can be an exciting, physical, hard-hitting game without the head shots. Milano avoids big hits?!? Tell that to all the QBs Milano has knocked out of games. He's one of our biggest hitters when he's healthy.
  5. I've bagged on McKenzie a lot in the past, but mainly because he's more of a scatterbrained clown (which affects his play) than a bad guy. He isnt a drinker, so the bar fight story doesnt make sense. The rare bird stuff isnt anything the team or NFL would care about this much. I'd bet it's for gambling (pun intended). They probably got caught on some app or something and the team is getting ahead of the NFL.
  6. Seems like a candidate problem. I can tell you over the course of my career there have been a few times where I applied for "shoot for the moon" positions. Discussed it with my managers, and they got my foot in the door to land panel interviews even though we all knew it would be extremely unlikely for me to get the job (literally no chance). Those panel interviews were all with higher-ups who are good to know and get face time with. They gave me opportunities to impress them and grow my network. Even though I didnt land those specific positions, the interviews have benefited me greatly a few times over. Whether it was calling in favors with those panelists when I needed help getting their teams moving on my projects, or having them introduce me to other execs at company functions (one of those intros even lead to the position I'm in currently). The benefits and opportunities are there for folks who want to make them so. Most of these young, hungry coaches function like that too. They arent coming in there bitter just to cut off their nose to spite their face. I'm sure the Bills will bring in people they want to interview, not just because they have to. That helps too.
  7. Yes pretty much. Or at least keep your head UP so he can see what he is hitting and how he is going into contact. Dropping your head and launching towards guys needs to be an automatic suspension, if not outright ban from the league. Enough is enough with this crap. It's just poor, lazy technique.
  8. OC next year, Head Coach in 2025 if we care about keeping him and not having to hit the reset button on our most prized asset year after year.
  9. A sad update just about a year later. Gabby passed away this week. At least her pain is over. RIP. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/oleantimesherald/name/gabriel-kranock-obituary?id=53830282
  10. I put the thumbs down, but I actually did a DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN and a big RASPBERRY at the screen.
  11. This constant need for Bills fans to bash Diggs is downright disgusting and pathetic. Shame on anyone who buys into it.
  12. Haha, all good, man. What even is time anymore after we lost those couple of years?
  13. Next season is 2024 when all this pain you are referring to starts, which is exactly what I mean by cash strapped. We are currently significantly over the cap, even factoring in the cap increase. Beane has plenty of levers to pull to get under, but it will be a lot of work. I even made a thread about it that was doing pretty well until Tyler Dunne took over the board
  14. I know many people dont agree with that take. That's fine. I'm not going to rehash the same arguments of the last 120 pages. I was just pointing to a reason why some folks hold a certain opinion.
  15. Hence why myself and others point out that this wasnt "personal", it was all about Sean the "Professional" Juicy and scandalous a la Russ Brandon would be about that person and their character. The McD piece was all about gaffs as a coach, not a person. He definitely coached Toney to line up Offside. Or maybe the article did what McD the coach couldnt do, rally and motivate his players. We've been saying "This is the loss they needed to light a fire" for 2 years. Maybe this article was it.
  16. We dont need an exposé to know what jackasses those guys are tho.
  17. Poyer is a $7.5M hit if he stays, or a $2M hit if cut, and we are strapped for cash. He's as good as gone. And should be. He's a shell back there this year, it will only be worse next year.
  18. We have him under contract next year either way. But yes, it would make a ton of sense to give him a couple more years and some guaranteed money, and drop that cap hit next year from $9M to maybe something closer to $5M.
  19. Sure, either or both. There was just more to type about the Tre situation. I do think re-signing Tre will push our CB pick back to the 4th or after. If it's just Dane, then I could see us looking for the better talent in the 3rd or even 2nd.
  20. Careful in this thread where a bunch of old men are over-analyzing her body to mention you loved her when she was... 14
  21. You nailed it. The only thing I'd add is I'm open to offering Tre a 3/$18M deal with like $12M guaranteed. If for no other reason than to save us drafting a CB early. We'll definitely need 3-4 new Safeties so I expect at least 2 drafted. Or we re-sign Dane and Tre, move Douglas into Hyde's spot, and draft a CB in the early-mid rounds. It will be real interesting to see what they do about the Defensive Backfield this offseason.
  22. Check out this weeks Cover1 Film Room video. They highlight his plays a bit. He isnt 100% his old self yet, but it was a major leap from what we've seen and he got a couple of good pressures in. There's at least one play he is directly responsible for the incompletion.
  23. I feel option 2 is a no-brainer because that's good value anywhere in the NFL. But since it'll be impossible to pull off, let him walk and take the comp pick.
