  1. OC next year, Head Coach in 2025 if we care about keeping him and not having to hit the reset button on our most prized asset year after year.
  2. A sad update just about a year later. Gabby passed away this week. At least her pain is over. RIP. https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/oleantimesherald/name/gabriel-kranock-obituary?id=53830282
  3. I put the thumbs down, but I actually did a DOUBLE THUMBS DOWN and a big RASPBERRY at the screen.
  4. This constant need for Bills fans to bash Diggs is downright disgusting and pathetic. Shame on anyone who buys into it.
  5. Haha, all good, man. What even is time anymore after we lost those couple of years?
  6. Next season is 2024 when all this pain you are referring to starts, which is exactly what I mean by cash strapped. We are currently significantly over the cap, even factoring in the cap increase. Beane has plenty of levers to pull to get under, but it will be a lot of work. I even made a thread about it that was doing pretty well until Tyler Dunne took over the board
  7. I know many people dont agree with that take. That's fine. I'm not going to rehash the same arguments of the last 120 pages. I was just pointing to a reason why some folks hold a certain opinion.
  8. Hence why myself and others point out that this wasnt "personal", it was all about Sean the "Professional" Juicy and scandalous a la Russ Brandon would be about that person and their character. The McD piece was all about gaffs as a coach, not a person. He definitely coached Toney to line up Offside. Or maybe the article did what McD the coach couldnt do, rally and motivate his players. We've been saying "This is the loss they needed to light a fire" for 2 years. Maybe this article was it.
  9. We dont need an exposé to know what jackasses those guys are tho.
  10. Poyer is a $7.5M hit if he stays, or a $2M hit if cut, and we are strapped for cash. He's as good as gone. And should be. He's a shell back there this year, it will only be worse next year.
  11. We have him under contract next year either way. But yes, it would make a ton of sense to give him a couple more years and some guaranteed money, and drop that cap hit next year from $9M to maybe something closer to $5M.
  12. Sure, either or both. There was just more to type about the Tre situation. I do think re-signing Tre will push our CB pick back to the 4th or after. If it's just Dane, then I could see us looking for the better talent in the 3rd or even 2nd.
  13. Careful in this thread where a bunch of old men are over-analyzing her body to mention you loved her when she was... 14
  14. You nailed it. The only thing I'd add is I'm open to offering Tre a 3/$18M deal with like $12M guaranteed. If for no other reason than to save us drafting a CB early. We'll definitely need 3-4 new Safeties so I expect at least 2 drafted. Or we re-sign Dane and Tre, move Douglas into Hyde's spot, and draft a CB in the early-mid rounds. It will be real interesting to see what they do about the Defensive Backfield this offseason.
  15. Check out this weeks Cover1 Film Room video. They highlight his plays a bit. He isnt 100% his old self yet, but it was a major leap from what we've seen and he got a couple of good pressures in. There's at least one play he is directly responsible for the incompletion.
  16. I feel option 2 is a no-brainer because that's good value anywhere in the NFL. But since it'll be impossible to pull off, let him walk and take the comp pick.
  17. I'd think Douglas is most likely to eventually transition into Hyde's spot. But I dont think any of the CBs do. We'd need them to move next year, and we'd just be creating another hole. We need 2 starting Safeties and 1 CB for next year.
  18. Yeah, that is more along what I was thinking. It would be for someone they want to replace on ST. But I also dont think he ever sees the roster this year, so it wont matter anyways.
  19. Who else on the roster do you trust most when the game is on the line and we're getting the ball back to make the right decisions back there and field the ball cleanly? Our go-to when we needed a sure thing used to Hyde. Who is next man up if Harty is gone?
  20. But he's fairly reliable back there versus what we've seen from others. (I think he had 1 muff that he got back?) And Hyde can't do it anymore.
  21. Seems more like you want a legit deep threat speedster back, like John Brown, so Josh can hit that deep ball again.
  22. Who does more on Special Teams tho? And can Shorter play ST? Remember, with Taiwan Jones gone, we've shifted from carrying an extra "RB" special teamer to carrying an extra "WR" special teamer. So I'm not sure either of them lose their spot to Shorter.
  23. While I still stand by the general thoughts in my post, I'll say that I currently do not want Rapp anywhere near our Defense. Dude is a loose cannon and is more dangerous to our own Defense than he is to the opposition. I like his age and agility, and he doesnt seem to make any crazy obvious mistakes. But his hitting technique should not be tolerated.
  24. Maybe. But if you have a bunch of Receivers and DBs muddling around and all facing the ball and all jockeying for position, it gets tougher to call and you may even end up with OPI. The play is called a Hail Mary for a reason. Not a great play to try to run unless you have nothing else left.
