  1. Pass Catchers Under Contract in 2024: 1. Diggs 2. 3. Kincaid 4. Shakir 5. Cook 6. Knox DEs Under Contract in 2024: 1. 2. Rousseau 3. 4. Von Miller 5. 6. Jonathan DTs Under Contract in 2024: 1. Ed Oliver 2. 3. 4. Safeties Returning in 2024: 1. 2. 3. 4. Cam Lewis 5. Hamlin Classic TBD where anyone who asks "dO yOu EvEn WaTcH tHe GaMeS?" shows they have no point. Yeah, I've watched us win numerous games where Gabe Davis had 0 catches for 0 yards. We have no starting DE, we have no rotation. We have no starting 1-Techs, we have no DT rotation. Both Safeties will/should be gone.
  2. I'm not against Polk, there are a lot of guys I could like as our 2nd WR drafted. But I'd rather not go WR in the 1st and 2nd. It isnt even a top need compared to DT, DE, and Safety. I could even see them taking a Safety in the 1st (Cooper Dejean) then a WR in the 2nd and maybe another WR later. I'd rather walk away from this draft with only 1 WR taken (in the 1st) than draft another in the 2nd.
  3. For a WR in a WR-rich draft... Doug Whaley called, he said to think twice! Stay where we are. Grab someone like Egbuka or Legette in the 1st, and then dip back in for a Jermaine Burton in the 4th/5th.
  4. I'm not saying he definitely won't. I'm saying he definitely shouldn't. And given he went Elam in the 1st and Benford in the 5th in 2022, I'm hoping he has learned his lesson with the way Boogie busted. Kyle Duggar was a Beane guy, and we know Beane loves locking on and chasing players, so I could see that. I'd be good with that.
  5. Double-dip? Sure, in the 1st and maybe 5th. Definitely not 1 and 2 tho. Between Diggs, Shakir, Kincaid, and Cook (and even Knox) only so many balls to go around. Not worth wasting a high pick like another 2nd on a guy who wont get many touches.
  6. I asked in the other thread: Is McD not paying attention to the Offensive coach chatter and play calls? Surely, he must've heard the play called from Brady to Josh. No other time for him to jump in than a last second time out to correct his own staff?
  7. You arent responding to a Bills fan there.
  8. Both are worthy, but both play high-profile positions with lots of big names ahead of them. Bummer.
  9. Can't disagree with that, but that's on Josh, and it's still McD's job to try to win the game and IMO you do that by putting it your players' hands to make plays. If they don't, at least you went down swinging instead of Jauroning a punt.
  10. I'm putting a LOT on McDermott this week as to which team shows up for the game. Do we get the team we saw against Dallas and the first Miami game? Or do we get the team that is half-asleep and still jet lagged from London? He needs to be able to get ALL THREE units laser focused and firing on all cylinders.
  11. Two moments from this week alone illustrate my concerns: 1. Josh being pissed we just did the dumb "try to make them jump" on 4th down instead of actually playing aggressively, playing TO WIN, and really going for it. 2. McD having to call a time out when we lined up in shotgun instead of the Tush Push. How did he not know it was that play called until they were already lined up? Is he not listening to the coach chatter while we are on offense?
  12. Same as I have all season. He is a good DC. But it's obvious he spends all his time with the Defense and practically zero time on Offense or Special Teams, as evidenced by the fact that the only unit that shows up ready to play each week is the Defense. This team doesnt have a Head Coach right now, and hasnt all season. He needs to hire a DC and go back to running the team. Past that, I don't trust his in-game decision making or situational football skills at all. He has an amazing regular season record due to Josh and the rest of the talent on the team, in spite of his coaching. And when the going gets tough, we consistently fold under the pressure due to his poor clock management and quick-decision skills. Good guy, but not a great Head Coach. As Josh said in his presser after the Dunne article "You can question his coaching style, but dont question his character or who he is as a man." And that's where I'm at. Good guy, meh coach.
  13. The Dolphins organization plays incredibly loose with their player health and safety. Nothing new.
  14. Duff's in OP will suit you just fine. There might be better places around, but they arent remarkably better, and Duff's should be easier to get into.
  15. As much as I've eye-rolled every Hamlin story since the moment every team changed their twitter profile pics to "support him", I do think dying on the field and then coming back to play at all the next season does warrant the award. That said, I'm perfectly fine if they give it to Mayfield. Not much of a Baker fan, but cant deny dude has shown amazing resiliency. That win last year after only being on the Rams for 48 hours was one of the coolest things I've ever seen in pro football. But at the same time, Mayfield never really had any big drop off. His main "come back" is "coming back from being Browns-ed".
  16. I always like to remind folks that it isnt a quick game inside a stadium. It's a 6+ hour outdoor arctic adventure. Possibly way more if you are tailgating. Layers. Snow pants. Ski Jackets. Sorel Caribou-type boots. Heat packets. If it's going to rain - all of the above plus slickers over the top
  17. 1. CMC 2a. Lamar 2b. Josh 3. Hill 4. I guess Dak because I have to put someone here
  18. If you cut them, you owe them money. Suspending them is effectively firing them with cause. The locker room stuff is just normal operating procedure that is being highlighted because... twitter. But also interesting because the Colts are technically in the playoffs so there would be a chance for these players to come back this season after 3 games, but nope.
  19. My man, if youre going to throw out a thread like this and then get personal with anyone who disagrees with you, I'd suggest finding a more productive hobby through the holidays. What more insight do you want there? You said the Bills O under Dorsey was the worst coached offense in the NFL?!?!? That is a MAJOR absolute to throw down, and absolutes will always get criticized heavily. Rightfully so. Watch the Panthers. Watch the Falcons. Watch the Raiders. Watch the Bears. Watch the Patriots. Watch the Cardinals. Cmon man. Although on second thought, starting pissing matches with both BADOL and WEO might be some quality entertainment during this slow week. Proceed.
  20. I dont agree with OP that Dorsey was the main reason for the whole-team collapse against Cincy. I do believe Dorsey was absolutely the topic behind the Diggs/Allen spat, and exactly who Diggs was referring to when he was yelling at Josh to "Stop listening to HIM!" Diggs knew Dorsey was ruining Josh by feeding him BS scheme rules like "If you see 1 high Safety, go long to Davis" which Cincy was baiting us into all game while Diggs was open underneath. But the whole-team collapse was absolutely a culmination of all those things that happened starting with a mass shooting and brother dying, and only spiraling further from there.
  21. 2 years ago, that was a burn on Dak. Now it's an unintended insult to Kirk. Dak WISHES he was Kirk Cousins. And this fan is totally fine with that. Football can be an exciting, physical, hard-hitting game without the head shots. Milano avoids big hits?!? Tell that to all the QBs Milano has knocked out of games. He's one of our biggest hitters when he's healthy.
  22. I've bagged on McKenzie a lot in the past, but mainly because he's more of a scatterbrained clown (which affects his play) than a bad guy. He isnt a drinker, so the bar fight story doesnt make sense. The rare bird stuff isnt anything the team or NFL would care about this much. I'd bet it's for gambling (pun intended). They probably got caught on some app or something and the team is getting ahead of the NFL.
  23. Seems like a candidate problem. I can tell you over the course of my career there have been a few times where I applied for "shoot for the moon" positions. Discussed it with my managers, and they got my foot in the door to land panel interviews even though we all knew it would be extremely unlikely for me to get the job (literally no chance). Those panel interviews were all with higher-ups who are good to know and get face time with. They gave me opportunities to impress them and grow my network. Even though I didnt land those specific positions, the interviews have benefited me greatly a few times over. Whether it was calling in favors with those panelists when I needed help getting their teams moving on my projects, or having them introduce me to other execs at company functions (one of those intros even lead to the position I'm in currently). The benefits and opportunities are there for folks who want to make them so. Most of these young, hungry coaches function like that too. They arent coming in there bitter just to cut off their nose to spite their face. I'm sure the Bills will bring in people they want to interview, not just because they have to. That helps too.
  24. Yes pretty much. Or at least keep your head UP so he can see what he is hitting and how he is going into contact. Dropping your head and launching towards guys needs to be an automatic suspension, if not outright ban from the league. Enough is enough with this crap. It's just poor, lazy technique.
