  1. Amazing coach. GOAT QB. edit: also, I hate this thread for making me say that.
  2. I feel like whenever Josh is asked a tough or baiting question like this and takes a pause, gives a smile, and says "Go Bills", that those two words and 7 letters are substitutions for two other words and 7 letters "#$%@ YOU!"
  3. My daughter (5) just grew out of Peppa and Dora and is really into Transformers right now (and always Josh Allen). She is going to enjoy this immensely when she gets home from school!
  4. The warning lights thing isnt a rumor as far as I know, it's real. They kept it on "limited" flights while they were trying to figure out the warning lights. The article I read earlier this week stated it as known fact, but maybe that was just bad writing.
  5. What's really crazy is the two people that were supposed to be seated in that row next to that panel MISSED THEIR FLIGHT. Send that story into Time Life Books.
  6. This is a Boeing issue, not an Alaska Air issue. Boeing is screwed. I think United found loose bolts on the same type of panels on 9 planes when they re-inspected after this. Boeing used to be an innovative company lead by Engineers. Then it merged with McDonell Douglas and the bean counters took over, and it became all about cutting costs and the bottom line, which always makes for garbage products. Not good.
  7. I thought it was Rapp coming into that pile at first too! Rapp still injured the guy which sprung Harty's punt return. Looked like he injured Hill on the 2nd last play. And then injured HIMSELF on the game-sealing INT. Classic Rapp!
  8. Am I correct in assuming it was the play where Dodson came in as an out-of-control human missile and was lucky he missed the pile or else would have been flagged for helmet to helmet or even worse, paralyzed himself, but instead went spinning off the pile?
  9. With all of the Coach Retiring announcements, I read it as Klein was retiring as well!
  10. The only difference between Kincaid and LaPorta isnt talent. It's scheme and usage. Swap players and teams and Kincaid has the better numbers on Detroit with the hottest OC, while LaPorta struggles with underqualified OCs and interim OCs.
  11. The only thing you got really wrong. McD does not report to Beane. Beane has no say over McD's job, and McD has no say over Beane's job. They both report directly and separately to Terry Pegula. Pegula, and only Pegula, decides who gets fired and when. If Terry wanted to fire McD, the only decision he'd leave to Beane is if Beane wanted to go with his buddy or keep his job.
  12. As dirty as it is to admit around here, this made me like Belichick even more. Classic.
  13. First and foremost: Bad play design/play call. When you look back at the replay, the Bills had ZERO receivers in the end zone. How can you throw the ball into the end zone when none of our players are there. After that, bad decision by Josh. Should have thrown it through the back of the end zone and lived to fight another day. It was obvious to everyone what the situation was. 2 shots at/through the end zone, and then a field goal if those dont work out. We have at least 3 guaranteed points there that we can NOT let slip away. Yet ONCE AGAIN, the ugly monster of "situational football" bites the Bills in the ass. There needs to be clear and direct communication from our Head Coach to the QB that he is to ONLY throw it to or through the end zone. No matter what. But McD and properly coaching situation football just doesnt happen.
  14. Easier for Harty to hold onto while he's running back a TD, so I'm fine with it.
  15. Saw that. Was wondering the same thing. Might be something as simple as that is one of Miami's "kicking balls" and he wants to make sure it gets back to the right place. Probably happens all the time and we only noticed it here because Harty was confused and thought Ferguson was coming in for a handshake so there was that awkward, extended exchange between them.
  16. In theory, yes. But in practice, over-drafting under qualified players #1 overall due to the position they play has bit teams more times than it has helped teams. There is no Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Joe Burrow in this draft. I'd argue there isnt even a Trevor Lawrence. If I'm the Bears and I really want to move on from Fields, then I'm looking more at that #9 spot. Maybe Penix falls.
  17. If the Bears trade away Fields and pass up MHJ only to end up with another Mayfield/Goff out of this #1 pick then it's a disaster. As far as 4th quarter leads go, sounds like they also need to invest in Defense. Maybe get a new MLB.
  18. Used to be. Used to be about how well a coach could convince players and their families that his program is the one to play for, and that the coach would look after their son. Now it's just the highest biding booster club. Thanks to the short-sighted NCAA, whoever throws the most cash, wins. But look how well that worked out for Texas A&M this year. Their boosters spent over $30M of their own cash to bring in the #1 recruiting class... only to finish 4th (out of 5) in the SEC West.
  19. I had it down between Dallas and KC. Dallas for getting back there before we did. KC just because it's boring, here we go again. But then I saw Miami on the list and yeah, that would be most annoying. Especially after beating them twice in the season.
  20. And drafting Bryce Young. Obviously, if they are certain they are ready to move on now, sure. But from my limited viewpoint, it's tough for me to pass up the talent they could add to the team over yet another shot-in-the-dark QB
  21. MHJ is just too good to pass up, imo. Especially when you have even a half-decent QB. Plus, I'm not sold on Caleb Williams as such a sure thing. MHJ #1, the best OT at #9, then Defense the rest of they way. Maybe grab a Center in the mid/late rounds. The only argument I can agree with for picking Williams is it kicks the QB Contract can down the road a few more year as Fields is already going into his 4th year. But I think they can still pivot away from Fields before they have to pay him, and will at least have the foundation set for any other QB they acquire in 2026.
  22. Happy I got to witness his coaching run. The end of an era. The end of the GOAT.
  23. It would be as sweet as when the Dolphins have to extend Tua.
  24. Part of the quality issue in the NY dispensaries comes from the rule in NYS legalization that any/all flower sold must come from within NYS. There is a similar rule for local distilleries. They have to source all their ingredients from within NYS. No importing potatoes from Idaho for your vodka. In theory, I like the rule. It's a good way to drive more business and jobs into the state and provide regional economics than simply reselling weed they get from California or a Mexican Cartel. But the rub is that all the grow houses are recently established and don't have those foundational plants and operating procedures down yet. While weed was legalized a couple of years ago, the dispensaries were only allowed to open late last year. The state had to figure out permitting (and how to make sure the permits only went to their cronies). Towns had to vote on whether they'd allow dispensaries. Etc. Lot of moving parts to allowing a brand new industry to operate. Especially when it is a Vice industry.
