  1. I'd be happy with just 1. That isnt the question. Yet, that's the response we get in many threads from Sean supporters. I agree their argument is flawed.
  2. I dont think he gets fired this year, so that isnt the question. Terry and many folks here seem to be happy sitting on a nice Regular Season win/loss record, and some AFC East Championships (although those days seem to be over now that there's a better HC in the Division). When we go another few years of this garbage, and Josh has officially entered the end of his career, how happy will you McD Apologists be with nothing to show for it all?
  3. It's mainly #1 for me, and I have posted as such numerous times here. Win 1 SB and he gets a statue, lifetime contract, and carte blanche as far as I'm concerned. But now that YOU mention it, there will probably be a little bit of #2 in the back of my mind as well.
  4. WR1 in blocking that is. I think Shavers lead in WR snaps because he was the lead blocker in that outside run Brady was spamming all game, and one of the only WRs in that formation.
  5. I couldve sworn there was a snap count thread from last night, maybe it got merged in the Post Game thread. IIRC, it was: White 30 snaps, Hairston 13 Something like that. I'm more confident on the 13 number. As @BuffaloBill, he was limited for a reason.
  6. Jim was definitely talking about a different kind of shot. He may have had a whole tray of them on the sideline!
  7. No, only if it affects his practice or playing time. And since Josh isnt coming out of that #1 spot and is full go in everything, they dont have to report any of it. That's why every post season you hear about guys who played through fractures, tears, etc. Never stopped them so not on the injury report.
  8. Pretty sure he said "he had to do something to get you off me" because Cam was laying on him.
  9. They may be able to do that on an Amazon TNF stream, but not sure they can get away with it on CBS But if Sunday Ticket had a "Field Audio" option, then I'd probably buy it.
  10. Cook IS a superstar. He makes holes that arent there and no one else would find. Our own OL have talked about it. Respect it.
  11. Would love to see KOC fired and come in as Josh's OC, but that aint happening so quickly. Haha, I just posted this in another thread. This is hilarious. Would love to know what was being said.
  12. For some perspective on the Josh/Heyward situation, I think it's far more respectable on both sides than how Defenders seem to feel about 49ers WR Jauan Jennings... Here's Browns DT after their game today... Now I have to know what Jennings is saying out there...
  13. I called it when the Vikings got rid of Cousins AND Darnold. They thought KOC could make just any QB into an All-Pro (and for good reason since he was on a hot streak, even with Josh Dobbs). But you really cant just stick "anyone" in at QB.
  14. Brady did that once before against the Cowboys 2 years ago. They had a passing gameplan drawn up, but when the run worked so well, he just calling the same plays over and over. Which makes it even more frustrating in other games where Brady seems to insist on sticking to his script instead of going with what is working.
  15. Exactly how I see it. I think he'd be frustrated in that post game no matter what the questions were about. It was an incredibly frustrating game for the Pitt DL and that is usually their stable strong point. The Josh stuff just seems blown up in the moment of that 10 second clip. Cam did clarify it was just that one incident, and even kinda told on himself when he said Josh admitted it by saying "I had to get you off me some way". Like, dude, why are you still laying on him to the point he has to knee you off? Social Media Diva! Trade him for a 3rd round pick! He's a cancer to the team with his hold-in!
  16. I have no doubt Josh actually, intentionally kneed him in the stomach while Heyward was laying on him for an extended time. And I have no problem with Josh doing so. Do it again.
  17. I hope McD and Brady saw exactly what it means when we get Josh running and into contact early and often. It's the best way to get him into the game, fired up, and focused in on kicking ass. He NEEDS the contact, he NEEDS the chippiness. A perfect example of how McD is mishandling the Greatest Bill of All Time and wasting his career. He doesnt need to be "steady", he needs to be pissed and hyped. That is when Josh is at his best. But McD seems to do everything possible to neuter that. Run him a couple times early so he cant get contact and start jawing with the D, and then it's over.
  18. I respect Heyward more than he's showing worthy here. He and the rest of the Steelers D were looking to take shots at Allen at every opportunity, hitting him late, "finishing" tackles, and also flopping on Allen and laying on him. So then when Josh gets sick of it and gives them some back while they're laying on him for an extended time, they act like this? Grow up, Cam. If you're gonna dish it out, you gotta take it too.
  19. Like why not just take it easy on that FedEx money, bro
  20. "Quality DC" is also, unfortunately, how I would describe out Head Coach...
  21. I'd pay money for the full audio of what was going on between Josh and Heyward!
  22. Equivalent to our Bills addiction, similar outcomes, so it fits.
  23. Great news for all the "but the injuries" McDermott apologists! One more year for him and Beane!
  24. So, first and foremost, it is COMPLEMENTARY, not complimentary. Not trying to be a grammar nazi but they are two very different things and if youre looking to define "complementary football" it helps to have the right one. Compliment Definition: To praise, admire, or express approval. Complement Definition: To complete, enhance, or make something perfect. In Complementary Football, if each unit is executing properly then they should enhance the other units and make their jobs easier. Like the old saying "the best defense is a good offense" and vice versa. That's literally all Complementary Football comes down to. Offense should play in a way that not only achieves their goals but makes the game easier for the defense. Score points, long drives, run the ball. Defense should get the ball back and in good field position. Probably a mix of 2 and 3. With the "something else" being "I need to say something as a head coach so will just use this buzzword catch phrase and the media will get their sound bite"
