  1. Really Front 8 with our rotation. And the back 7 didnt do so hot either. And that should tell you, once again, where the problem really lies.
  2. lol, I almost replied to Don earlier to note "Spoiler Alert: Whether it's in season or off season, ALL of our content is meaningless here"
  3. We have the talent. We dont have people who can get the most out of that talent or put that talent in positions to succeed.
  4. Which players showed up in our biggest games? Besides Josh? We have plenty of talent. When the entire team is consistently no-showing for the big games, the issue lies above the players. See: @FireChans previous thread with the poll.
  5. Between Tre White, Matt Milano, and Ed Oliver, Beane has shown the ability to get our guys re-signed on incredibly team friendly deals. I'm hopinh he can work the same magic on Rousseau. But he will absolutely get more than $13M/year. We are talking a 2026-2029 contract with a cap likely over $300M.
  6. I've long suspected the AHC title was given to Washington in an effort to get him promoted out of the organization while getting a couple of 3rd rounders. I havent been impressed with his work while he's been here. It seemed like Von contributed more to AJE and Groot's development in 1 year than Washington was able to manage.
  7. Considering we are talking about a contract that will run 2026-2029, yes. Those numbers should be more than acceptable and workable by our FO.
  8. What's the concern? Dude is playing exactly how you'd expect a #30 1st round pick to play. Yes, you pick up the option, and extend him. No brainer. This is nothing like Edmunds.
  9. Raiders back in the Justin Fields mix!
  10. Oh, I have my criticisms of Josh, for sure. As recently highlighted here But you didnt list "QB" as an option in your poll, and you encouraged us to just pick one, so this is my hill to die on. And come to think of it, not listing QB but putting blame on him in your replies gives you the opportunity to argue with everyone who responds... Is this just a thinly veiled hate-on-Josh post for yourself?!?
  11. For the Chiefs, McD wasnt just along for the ride. He was busy having his defense absolutely blow the game, AGAIN, if not for a completely random and lucky Offensive Offside penalty on the Chiefs WR. The Cowboys game saw Brady stick to the run. I'll give McD credit here for how prepared and fired up the ENTIRE team was, but that also goes to highlight my point about our inconsistency, and McD's issues this year filling in the DC spot and leaving the other 2 units without a true leader. Then McD had us roll into LA, get down against Easton f$#&ing Stick and the 5-9 Chargers into the 2nd quarter AND last minute of the game, and giving Stick one of his highest rated games as the Chargers scored on ALL but one of their 2nd half possessions. Thankfully, Josh lead the team on a 13-play last possession drive to get the game winning FG. ALL of our units had issues that day, which speaks to the HC. So unfortunately, no, McD wasnt just along for the ride. Might have been easier that way tho. For the record, I'm with you on this tired, old "one score game" argument. It needs to be stated that the Bills also never get blown out. And since no one is winning ALL the games in the NFL, this "one score game" stat shows that the Bills are always in it, even in our losses. I'll give some credit there.
  12. Have known about it since it first came out as a 30for30 documentary. Havent watched it. Will never watch it. At least not until after we win a Super Bowl. I already lived through all that heartache once. No need to revisit it.
  13. Pretty much, yeah. Regular season wins come to this talented team mostly due to Josh. McDermott and the players talked about how he changed after the Dunne piece came out. That was great that he managed to get out of their way during the regular season. But during the playoffs, where talent is largely equal, teams rely far more on coaching to get a win and once again, when we needed him the most, he fell short in his role. Which was destined to happen the moment he took over as DC. Too caught up being a DC, not enough energy spent on being a true HC.
  14. If putting Klein on Kelce was his idea at all then that is a fireable offense. Come up with something better. One of the so-called best DCs in the league should be able to do better.
  15. Biggest reason: Coaching Second biggest reason: Coaching The team has enough talent to beat anyone. "Any given Sunday" as they say. When we are in the proper headspace, we absolutely dominate as we should. But that is incredibly inconsistent and unreliable. That is coaching. Our talent will compete with the best. But when the going gets tough, a bad break always sinks us. Usually in a Situational Football scenario. That is coaching. I'm am hesitantly optimistic with McD solidifying Brady to give him a full year, and the addition of Babich which should allow McD to go back to being a Head Coach and hopefully working on his own situational football skills.
  16. Only by the usual whiney, soft fans and media. No one important. Who cares?
  17. Almost a fatality!
  18. I assumed you were joking because no one would seriously double-down on such a lead-brained, snowflake take. A "fatality", lol.
  19. Ok you got me
  20. Imagine seriously saying this. Stick to the PPP
  21. That's just capitalism, baby!
  22. Disagree. IMO, the Twitterverse is making a bigger deal of it than the true impact in reality. Players have been blowing up on the sidelines for decades. Get offline and no one is talking about it.
  23. I get that, I was expanding the W&M connection since Brady went there too, and Brady and Mangas were team mates in the same WR room 2009-2011. Which is likely what helped get him that LSU job with Brady.
  24. Looking around, the Ravens board has a similar number. Lions board has a bunch. They're all similar in topics too. I think it's just the engaged fan-bases of the other SB contenders more than anything else.
