I dont mind Jets talk as long as it is about their complete and utter failure.

Amari Cooper is expected to play on Sunday
DrDawkinstein replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, they talked about it postgame. Josh checked out of the play and Cooper didnt know the check. He turned to Coleman and threw his hands up, and Coleman just pointed at the middle of the field so that's where he ran. Next thing ya know he has a Josh fastball coming at him. I give him credit for making that catch at all. -
Would be epic, but there is way too much easy money left on that table. These high-paid old man QBs are always best off riding it out as long as a team will pay them $50M/yr just for showing up. Same thing that happened with Matt Ryan and the Falcons/Colts. I dont blame them. Lot of money. Even if they already have a lote of money.

hahahaha ***** you rogers!

Jets just in free fall now.

I do love it. Between him and Woody, and Rex, and Bart Scott, and Mike Tanenbaum, it's almost an entire Jets crew. And they have been riding this plane into the ground in spectacular fashion all season. Very entertaining. And Greeny loves, LOVES, Josh Allen on top of it.

It goes from his shoulder to his crotch in that little time, it isnt pinned to anything. Dont get me wrong, I wish it were a TD. I think the call on the field should have stood. But I understand why they overturned it. Lesson for the kid because he didnt need to turn up field, which is the torquing that caused the ball to come out. Had he just stayed facing back and fallen backwards, he probably catches it, secures it, and crosses the plane. Oh well.

If Brian Daboll gets fired, would you take him as OC?
DrDawkinstein replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall
The real question is: would you replace McDermott with him? -
I think if he tried just making the catch and happy to get to the 1 yard line, he probably gets a catch. I think his trying to turn up field as he was catching the ball really worked against him and ended up making him bobble it. Never really caught it solidly. I dont blame him at all for trying to get into the endzone, just sayin, that seems to be what happened.
-
No it didnt. It was moving the whole time. He never secured it. He wasnt adjusting the ball in a possessed cradle, he was trying to pin it as it was sliding down his arm/body. I think if there was any other angle of this, it would clear it up for everyone.

We are VERY heightened, Amari. Especially since NY became a legal state. -
And the announcers probably do understand the rule, but it gives them something to talk about as they need to fill 3 hours, AND acting like its tough to tell lets them cover their butts for when they make the wrong call while covering the game. Plus, the old players like Aikman and the like love complaining about new/modern rules. The ol "back in my day" and "yelling at clouds". Ok, but this hit the ground after sliding down his body because he never possessed it. So incomplete according to your rule too. edit: apologies, it never hit the ground, he did end up gathering possession but it was well after he was out of bounds.

He never had possession. Not with the first foot down, or second, or third. The ball was always moving down his body and sliding out of his arm. He never possessed it for it to be a TD by crossing the plane, regardless of feet down.

Coaches made the adjustments. Credit to them there. But just shows even more how we have the talent to blow teams out, but the poor game plans and play calls of the coaches hold this team back at times. -

He's trying to figure out how to let them score 2 quick touchdowns so he can bring back his "victories by 6pts or less" streak. -

Pretty common for interior LBs who always go up against Guards with a head of steam. Even worse that we use small LBs. -

WTF happened on that review? I missed 5 minutes. They challenged Kincaid's catch, but we got the catch, but their challenge was successful? -

I'm pirating today and my feed just froze and I'm seriously considering just closing the laptop and doing something actually productive. McDermott is ruining my weekend. -
