So, Josh Allen threw a fan through a table
DrDawkinstein replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not be offended if you wanted to delete every off-topic, generational-argument post in this thread. Except for my first one where I booo'ed your hot take ?? Also, speaking of Offseason... are there Mod plans to allow Mock Draft posts on the Main Board after the Super Bowl? It's making less and less sense by the day to keep them quarantined to College Football -

This is hilarious. Falling 100% into the Boomer caricature. This was all started with a couple of friendly jokes. But you took it real serious because youre easily offended. Just move on "gramps", none of us really hate you. We got better stuff to worry about. -

Gen Xers are mostly 50+ now and basically Boomers in a lot of their thinking. I'm cusp GenX myself. And I'm much more optimistic based on what I see from Millennials (who arent "kids" as some folks think, they are 28-40 now), and Gen Zers, in my workplace than what I've seen from Boomers. -

That's the whole point of why Boomers suck. You got them through parasite-ing off of the Great Generation's successes while selfishly trashing the future for subsequent generations, not because yall were somehow smarter or better like you all think. Everyone sees through it but the Boomers who love the smell of their own farts. But I digress from the thread's real topic, so my apologies. We all look forward to that die off, tho. ? -

Booooooooooooooooooo (mer) Table slam ALL THE FANS, Josh! -
WRT #1... Almost ALL signings in FA are "overspending" in one way or another. That's just the name of the game. I agree you build through the draft, but that applies mostly to the first few years of a rebuild. Once you have foundational pieces in place (young QB), and have cleared old contracts, you go and get some top talent in FA (and that will usually come at a premium). Additionally, there is a Minimum Cash Spend requirement in the CBA, and the Bills are currently well below it. So if we must spend the money anyways, I'd like to see at least one big name brought in with the role players, instead of just 20 role players. https://overthecap.com/minimum-cash-spending-in-2020/

Best seafood spot in Atlantic City, NJ ?

But seriously, anyone coming to Atlanta, get to the Optimist. -

Damn you were quick! I deleted that within seconds! Stupid preview only showed Atlan... before cutting off the title and my brain just defaulted ? ? ? -
WRT better jobs, not necessarily unrelated. I'm talking about better companies in that as well. The Bills as an organization have a reputation around the league as being a poorly managed, second-rate franchise. And deservedly so after the way Ralph and Russ ran the team for 50 combined years. Hopefully that is starting to turn around, but it will take some time and some winning to change that perspective among players and personnel. Similarly, when I moved back to Buffalo in 2014, I was lucky enough to land a couple of great opportunities. And while those were good companies "for Buffalo", they were still a few notches below all of my opportunities in Atlanta, and ended up being a step backwards in my career. The same way players view Arthur Blank and his franchise versus the Bills. WRT taxes, I dont even personally believe that plays into player decisions since they pay separate state income tax for wherever each individual game is played. Plus, a lot of these guys aren't even that financially savvy to even think about taxes and whatnot (unfortunately for them). But was drawing the correlation since so many posters mention it, as does the article.

Everything makes the Haslams look bad, because they are bad. Just bad people in general, who make bad decisions. That said, I like the look of Berry/Stefanski/Alex Van Pelt much more than the previous regime. Especially for this young team. Good point that they will need to give them time to learn and grow on the job. We'll see if Haslam can get out of his own way for once.

My feelings as well. Folks bag on Jerry Hughes for his penalties but then clamor for Clowney who has 4x the amount of penalties. Folks bag on our WRs for dropped balls but then clamor for Cooper who leads the league in dropped passes. Neither of which want to come to Buffalo as it is. This is just pouring more fuel on the fire, not solving the problem. But... I heard of them.

I see a lot of folks in this thread disagreeing that players should feel that way... yet posting from places other than Buffalo ourselves. ? Looks like the majority of us in here are in Atlanta. And even more so the Southeast in general. Better weather, better jobs, lower taxes, etc. So we, as "free agents in life", are guilty of it too. Heck, I moved back to Buffalo in 2014 to give the resurgence a shot, yet here I am back in Atlanta 3 years later. Guess Im not a "process guy" (again, whatever that is).

Is he a backup? I see him out on the field a lot every time I watch the Chiefs. And his quotes dont read like sour grapes. The Bills were a mess with Rex, that isnt a secret. He was scheme-specific and we didnt really give him a chance. Why does everyone want to hate on former players on the Chiefs? This is a lot like when that jabroni made the thread bagging on Sammy Watkins for getting down when they fell behind to the Texans.

He's a sound engineer with a TWA hat on. We got the perfect person in the perfect place to tell the story. Said a guy who has been there 17 years never saw cloud cover that low. Rotors stopped immediately. I appreciate his addition that it all happened so quickly that those aboard probably didnt suffer.
