I understand, I just think Singletary should get the bulk of the carries and be that 1200 yard rusher, while the guy we draft late can spell him like Gore (but be more effective than Gore was) Nice work tho! Thanks for keeping the offseason interesting!

plastic bag ban delayed until April 1
DrDawkinstein replied to Steve O's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The best part of this thread is how out-of-his-mind triggered EiL is over moving away from plastic bags. From the conspiracy theories, to the cute nicknames he has for anyone involved. My man, you are going full PPP on this. -
Love the effort and creativity. Made for a real fun read! That said, I'm not thrilled with that outcome. Feels like a lot of work making trades to walk away with a mediocre talent pool. Although, I'm not sold on Higgins or Shenault at #22 either so... edit: My only major beef is using a 2nd round pick on a RB who will be a "compliment" to Singletary. That should come in the 4th round or later, or even UDFA.

That sounds exactly like Marrone actually. These are the questions we really need @GunnerBill to chime in on. -
Free Agency News and Updates - around the league

I posted this as my hair-brained idea a few weeks ago, but was quickly schooled that Jax is still on the hook for a huge portion of the Foles hit. Even if they trade him away, they still eat something like $18M of the $22M he's set to earn this year. -

Hughes currently makes $10M a year but that is off our books after this season, and right there is half the room for Ngakoue if you are thinking long term. We have the room to sign and keep the others as well. It will get tricky once Allen is up for re-signing, but there are plenty of teams in the NFL who pay their franchise QB and keep talent around him. It can be done. -

Yes we certainly do. Marrone thinks if Bill O'Brien could do it with Clowney than he can do it with Ngakoue. Marrone is also an idiot. -
Thanks!

Oh good, someone new to a message board who thinks theyre the smartest guy in the room because you believe you're "logical" when in fact you arent. You say above "You say they should do something and I say they can do whatever they’d like", yet your very first post in this discussion said: Directly implying that the Bills can NOT do whatever they like. Key absolute "can't". When they in fact can arbitrarily strip him of his accomplishments as they see fit if they so choose to. YOU said they can't. All I ever said is that they "should", not that they must. Of course they can do whatever they like. Maybe the problem is I know to state my opinions as opinions, and you phrase your opinions as facts. I'm done discussing with you because you cant even follow your own discussion, and are bad at it. Agree to disagree. Bye.

It is my opinion. I never said anything otherwise. Literally said "should" not "must". Who hurt you?

The Bills dont need to ask anyone. It's an unofficial marketing piece hanging in their stadium. They can decide to take it down as simply as deciding to change a light bulb. And they should. That doesnt mean much. For years my father and I were convinced that Defenders were voting him into the ProBowl just so they could keep him on the field and keep beating him. ProBowl voting for Interior linemen, especially back then before everyone had constant access to tape, was pretty much a "I know that name, and only that name" popularity contest. I do like that he stood up to Greggo and basically told him to eff off.

The NFL's policy doesnt require a court conviction to determine conduct detrimental to the league. They are their own private company free to make their own rules, so they totally can decide to strip someone of their accomplishments as they see fit. Plus, he's since spent time in jail for other actions. Take him down.

Bennett as a player, heck yes. But do his legal troubles keep him off? Agreed with removing OJ too. Just do it lowkey in the offseason without any fanfare.

Dont make Kyle wait too long either.

LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire formally meets with Bills

Not to derail to another subject, but since you are usually in the know, do we have a list of who those players are? Or do we only know of Ruggs and CEH so far? -

Thanks for the info and good points, gents. It's crazy how different the dynamic is when we are drafting so late instead of top-10 like usual. I keep forgetting to keep that in mind. However, that makes it all the more costly in order to move up too. @Lurker, to your point about trading up to 15-17... while I like it in theory, when I look at the values @section122 put together, I don't think I'm willing to trade our 1st AND 2nd to get there. Or even our 1st and 3rd frankly. 1st and 4th maybe, but that doesnt seem to get us anywhere. Although if Beane works some Free Agency magic and lands Ngakoue/Jones or the like, I would instantly feel better about dealing that 2nd rounder if necessary. Tough spot to be in. Still a conundrum... -

This is the toughest question we face this year. While I would never want to trade up for a WR, and folks talk about the depth of this WR class... IMO there is a big drop off from Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs and the rest of the class. So do you burn 2 (or more) picks to get up and get a top talent? Or do you stay put but also use 2 picks on multiple WRs through the draft in order to hedge your bets, and hope to hit on at least one of them? I'm glad I'm not Brandon Beane. -
