  1. Congrats to the aholes who had to chime in immediately and ruin a decent post and thread with some hateful and political nonsense. You can all Wonderlic my balls, capitan.
  2. HEAVY at DB, and almost nothing at QB. Also thought this comment was interesting about Patriots drafting...
  3. Between the nanny and what Doc Antle has going on...
  4. If we were already up by 2 scores, I'd agree more. But only down by 3, I'm fine with taking the points and the two score lead.
  5. Same. I wanted to throw a big dinner for them and feed them and send them home with leftovers... but then remembered we arent allowed to gather together! I look forward to how hard everyone is going to party when this is over. Should be a good month for them in tips when we do finally get back to normal.
  6. I'd be surprised by outright cuts. Teams always need quality depth OL as they get through camp. Beane was able to trade our extra OLs last year for late picks. I'd expect him to do the same again.
  7. I'm very fortunate that my company is able to keep all 60,000 employees. They are even paying our hourly folks an additional 3 weeks of PTO while we are effectively locked out of our building. We've been working from home as if everything else is normal for 2.5 weeks now, and are scheduled to stay home until May 1. I'm actually on a conf call right now (and paying the same amount of attention as usual).
  8. Anything is possible, but I wouldnt even count him as a wild card. Most likely camp fodder to take reps during Defensive drills, and run out the clock in preseason games against other 5th stringers.
  9. Daryl Williams's story is kinda a head scratcher. I havent followed him but from what I can glean online... He was drafted as a RT, and took a couple seasons to grow into the role before really settling in and having a Pro Bowl worthy 2017 season. Then blew out his knee (twice?) in 2018. Then came back in 2019, but Carolina moved him to LG where he struggled. I'm hoping a chance to compete at RT will reignite his career.
  10. Yep. Beane has set himself up to be able to go pure BPA in at least the 2nd and 3rd. After that it's basically a pick'em so he can go for need, if necessary. If BPA ends up RB, fine. If it ends up a DE, great. If it ends up being Kicker, fine.
  11. Take a look in the mirror, my man. No one has attacked you like you are attacking others. And plenty of us here meet irl and have long lasting friendships. It's a major key to what makes this board great. It's also why so few of us post at each other like you are here.
  12. Hilarious since you are the one who is clearly upset with this discussion.
  13. Even without knowing the money, the fact that it's a 1-year deal says enough. He needs to prove it early and keep proving it to get a roster spot. I also dont think the Bills Brass is as eager to move Ford to Guard as some fans are. It's most likely a message board pipe dream.
  14. That "information" can just as easily be seen as GMs making excuses for themselves. And there is probably just as much truth to that as their own claims. The NFL (and GMs) functioned for decades just fine without this in-depth process. They're just out of their comfort zone now and want to CYA. By this point of March, everyone should have enough information to make picks. Adapt to the change and get it done.
  15. Hey another Panther cast off signing... ? Let's go ahead and make it official: But in all seriousness, I guess there is a silver lining... Beane is lucking out that the Panthers are going into a rebuild and dumping a ton of vet starters. He pretty much gets first dibs given the existing relationships (and bonus that they think so highly of him, they all want to sign with him). And Beane gets to bring in a bunch of veteran starters on team-friendly prove it deals, and keep them hungry to compete and push the youngsters he's drafted. This could be one of those little things that gets overlooked in the bigger story, but is one of a number of "planets aligning" things that all good teams benefit from. And as he's proven before, it's never a bad thing to have decent depth at OL which you can always trade away for assets to help you maneuver around the draft board. I'm still questioning the Butler signing, but I'll wait and see.
  16. Goddell channels his inner Celine and says "Neeeear, Faaaar, where ever you are... I believe that the draft will. Go ooonnnn" Official memo sent last night, read below.
  17. Cam did it directly, and got his release a few hours later. He also confronted KB directly, man to man, after KB ran his mouth on social media. Was even willing to laugh it off and shake his hand. And KB backed down like b itch. Watson, I'll give a pass this one time. He just had his friend traded away, and posted some lyrics. And then quickly deleted them.
  18. Yeah, I'm familiar with The Standard. Dallas (the owner) went rogue from Whitehall and opened his own place and made it a Bills bar without even consulting the club first. Some mixed feelings on that. Uber it to Whitehall! We got them to revamp their wings last offseason and they are now truly some of the best in town. After a couple of off years at Whitehall it was a blast again, especially with all the winning.
  19. I mean, I dont know what else to discuss at this point. What a wild ride. But man, all those "zoo owners" are crazy. Sucks for Joe Exotic, because when they show clips from his younger days it seems he truly did mean well for animals, but then got lost in the money and drugs. Drugs seemingly being the common denominator with all those folks. Obviously, with Mario Tabraue being a coke kingpin. And if Doc Antele was hanging with him in the 80s, there is no way he WASNT doing piles of coke right along with him. Wouldnt be surprised if that is how all these guys funded their "zoos".
  20. 1. I love culture building, and love what McD has done in resetting the entire aura in OBD! My point is illustrating that it should be well strong enough to absorb a player like Diggs, who isnt even that bad. 2. You come to Whitehall ever?!?
  21. Far be it for me to ever defend BOB, but we all said the same thing last offseason with his mad wheeling and dealing, and they had a pretty successful year. So who knows. Agreed, it sure seems nuts. But so far, it's worked out for him. Which is crazy as well.
  22. Fair question and good point. Pretty much every owner/ownership group should be putting up $5M in local relief. Except maybe Green Bay. Keep in mind, this is basically a PR move for the Pegulas after all the bad PR from the story you posted yourself.
  23. I wont ever knock Josh's donation. He's still on a rookie contract, and who knows, may have to make that money last the rest of his life. But yeah, Brees does embarrass the Pegulas. We should expect more from our Billionaires. Those numbers would make more sense if they were reversed ($5M from Pegs, and $1M from Brees). I like that it says "at least" $1.2M, so maybe it will go up if/when needed.
  24. What else should they be talking about to fill 3 hours? Also, you just made a thread about Tom Brady so...
