  1. Who has it under better control?
  2. You accidentally bring up a good side point. Why should the NFL be the only professional sports league to have fans? NBA, NHL, and MLS are all in a bubble. No fans at games. Heck, no visiting friends and family between games! MLB is playing out and about, but no fans at games. Why do folks think the NFL is so special that we should all be at those games?
  3. Uhh, one big reason: $$$$ It is in Twitter's best interest to have as many accounts as possible. Even if most are fake (which they currently are). There is absolutely NO motivation for them to crack down on fake or alt accounts. It would reduce their numbers and therefore reduce their ad and data revenue. It's a "free" service to the users. Which means users arent the customer, they are the PRODUCT. Do you want to pay for twitter? Or do you trust twitter to not sell your SSN to the highest bidder along with all your user data they already track and sell? The simplest answer: get off twitter, get off facebook (and IG and snap and tiktok and...)
  4. I think "outrage" is a bit strong. It's just a goober move from a little punk we all hate. If we want to laugh at him, we'll laugh at him.
  5. What a ***** dork. ***** you Edelman!
  6. What is the "Wyatt Story" people are referring to in the comments?
  7. Agreed, and exactly the point I was trying to make. I love Milano, but he isnt equivalent to the top Safeties in the NFL. I'm thinking (hoping) that given the scheme-fit and the coaching staff, we can get him re-signed on a team friendly deal. If not, bye.
  8. It's the bigger number, but I'm not sure it's a bigger question. White will get whatever makes him highest paid at that time. Most likely in the $20M range. And I dont think many of us question his value. Milano's value is all over the place. It's tough to find player comparisons for his role and that type of LB. Plus the importance of that role can be questioned. Spotrac has him at about $14M/yr. Is Milano really equivalent to the league's top Safeties? If you had to decide between keeping Milano and signing the best Safety in the league, what would you (or any of us) do?
  9. I'd post the Michael Jackson popcorn gif, but these same, misinformed arguments arent even entertaining anymore. Good to see the decision is for "the first 2 games". Keeps people safe for now and leaves it open to adjust policy as information evolves.
  10. Classic Dolphins. When you're getting out-maneuvered by Cleveland, it's time to pack it in.
  11. He's got 6 months to make it happen!
  12. So a 2x Pro Bowl Safety gets $14.75M/year, and that's about what we think we'll have to pay to keep Milano? Is Milano = Budda Baker?
  13. I had a 2001 Cherokee Sport (XJ) that was INCREDIBLE. Never had a single problem with it, and it could go anywhere. The last year Jeep made SUVs like that. They discontinued the Cherokee in 2002 and replaced it with garbage like the Liberty. All downhill from there. Never again.
  14. Imagine Levi beginning a post with a word other than "imagine" ? But seriously, I think their engineers are even worse. Those transmissions are horrendous. We blew through THREE transmissions on my wife's Liberty in 4 years before finally dumping it at the Toyota dealer and getting a 4Runner. https://lemonlawexperts.com/faulty-jeep-transmissions/ https://www.cashcarsbuyer.com/do-jeeps-have-transmission-problems/
  15. Looks like Jeep is bringing back the Grand Wagoneer. Some great nostalgia there for sure, but I already swore I'd never buy anything made by Jeep ever again. Especially their SUVs, and especially at a $70k+ price tag https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a33796232/jeep-grand-wagoneer-teaser-silhouette/
  16. If you like her, you'll love this person with legendary swallowing abilities...
  17. I kinda actually agree with Ethan here. And he specifically said "Edge Rusher". Which to me, draws a distinction from "DEs in general" and especially "Guys Who Set the Edge". We dont know what we have in Epenesa. But he looks like he might be more of a Set the Edge guy. Mario Addison had a good year last year, but he's turning 33 next week, and it's just a matter of time before he hits that wall. Hughes, see Addison, minus all of Addison's recent sacks. Murphy is decent, but more solid overall, than pass rusher. We dont really have any young talent at Pass Rusher, just a lot of good general DEs. Our sack leader last year was a DT. To you, what position is worse off than Edge Pass Rusher right now?
  18. She's a Buffalo 8.
  19. I hope so. I'm not a huge fan of McDermott's passive style of D, but I certainly cant argue with the results. It just leaves me wanting in "aggressive" stats like sacks and turnovers.
  20. Honestly answering: Pass rush and takeaways. We play a bend-but-dont-break Defense which allows opponents up the field before forcing them to punt or settle for a FG. But we dont really go out and "SHUT IT DOWN". Lost our sack leader in FA (Phillips), but replaced those stats with Addison, hopefully. Although they play vastly different positions.
  21. Or in this case, Projection.
  22. I'm sure this thread is going to be full of fresh and unbiased information that hasnt been previously presented a million times on the board already. Let me get my COVID-Debate BINGO card out...
