  1. It didnt deplete the 2024 pool, but it stocked the 2022/2023 pools which is why those drafts had 300+ draftable guys, and now we are back to more of the norm with 150-200 draftable guys. It's about how the classes look relative to each other.
  2. I feel like we figured this out in real time in @Virgil's mock draft threads. The board voted for a Trade Down out of 28 and it was not fun. I'm now fully on board with packaging as many of those later round picks for moving UP in the 1st and 2nd rounds to get our guys.
  3. If anything, this exercise has only fueled my desire to do something big like trade up to 6 for Nabers.
  4. This is why I'm going with Calen Bullock of Bullard. Bullock is a long rangy 6'3" Safety who can hang in the backfield and ball hawk for us.
  5. Exactly. We have plenty of spots that need guys to come in and start right away. Adding talented line depth (whether DT or OT) is nice, but we cant afford that right now.
  6. I guess I'm good with getting Franklin here while picking up a 3rd. But I doubt it would play out that way IRL. I dont see the Chiefs trading back, so there is another WR out, I'd guess Ladd. Yikes.
  7. A good warning to those who want the Bills to trade back from 28. There's a very good chance the 2nd WR wave starts around our pick and finishes in the early 2nd. Moving back 10 or more picks may knock us out of the WR race. I'm all for staying at 28 and getting our pick of that 2nd WR group. Many of which would be solid 1st round picks in other years.
  8. We lost out on (almost) all the top WR talent with the previous trade down. Need to suck it up and go get Franklin while we still can.
  9. Good for JP. Good luck with that, Giants.
  10. From the short list, I think my order of preference would be: 1. Mitchell 2. Legette 3. Worthy 4. McConky But I could probably swap 3 & 4 depending on how the wind is blowing. I dont think Mitchell is available at 28 irl. Guess I'd be happy with any of the remaining 3, and even Franklin. Maybe not overly excited, but happy they at least addressed the WR position.
  11. No wonder the Kromer family hates him.
  12. If we landed Franklin to pair with an earlier pick of DeJean, this would be Beane's best 1st/2nd round since he got here. That would be a huge win for the Bills. Unfortunately, DeJean isnt lasting to 28. The only way DeJean is a "bad" pick is if we also pick DT in the 2nd and ignore WR until the 4th.
  13. Agreed. Folks on the board fell off Franklin but I think he's definitely in play and would be a good addition. Would rather see him in Buffalo than going to KC at 32. Lot of similarity to AB on the field (hopefully not off).
  14. Rest in PISS bozo!
  15. There is DEFINITELY some drag racing in this kid's future.
  16. For as much as the Cardinals and Chargers need a WR, and are in prime position to take one from the Big 3, it would be tough to say no to trading down and getting TWO 1sts in this draft and use them both on WRs. Like, which is a better 1st round haul: Nabers at #5 or Brian Thomas Jr AND Ladd McConky
  17. Speaking of classy, you know what that comment was in response to?... Diggs made an RIP post for Vontae Davis. And the Bills fans went off in the comments calling Diggs every name short of some hard-r racial slurs, telling him to kill himself, etc. One outside commenter was taken aback by the Bills fans' behavior and called them bitter. So yeah, stay classy Bills Mafia.
  18. We have practically 300 combined pages of threads of people hating on Diggs here on OBD. I wouldnt call it a small segment and it certainly isnt exclusive to twitter. It's a disease across the entire fanbase. Over-entitled and miserable.
  19. Yeah, didnt the Panthers get scolded last year for turning their pick in too early?
  20. A monkey wrench in the works right away! Love it!
  21. That's not what you said tho. "Imagine Diggs going over the middle" means he doesnt/wouldnt do it. Definitely not as much or as well as Reed. But Diggs was a warrior out there. Regardless of how poorly Bills fans want to speak of him now that he is gone.
  22. If you dont think Diggs has ever gone over the middle of the field then you havent been watching Bills football the past 4 years.
  23. What did I "create"? I'm in this thread multiple times saying we have no idea what was said. You're probably being too literal again if you think I actually think Diggs said "your dumb decisions and 3 ints cost us the game". lol of course he didnt. My point was that Josh KNEW it was his dumb decisions and 3 ints that cost us the game and didnt want to hear anything more about it from anyone, other than the guys telling him "dont worry, we'll get em next time". The one thing you are correct about is that I AM better than the little credit you are giving me in your assumptions
