  1. Holy cow. One of the earliest football memories I have was going to that Colts game with my dad. Same thing, we moved around to probably 8 different parts of the stadium just to see the different perspectives. We were on the news that night because we were down in the front row of the end zone for one of the touchdowns and we were easy to spot as we were the only fans in the shot! ? I also remember, on our way into the stadium, Fred Smerlas and Darryl Talley pulled their bikes in front of our car and was giving my dad crap about going to the game saying "You're paying to watch bad football!". And my dad rolling down the window and saying "You guys were 4-12 last year, how much worse can it be? Come on, I got a kid in the car." They moved their bikes.
  2. Case counts DO matter. We dont even know all the issues that can be caused by living through the virus, but we've already seen cases of Viral Menengitis, long term lung issues like fibrosis, and a decrease in lung functioning can lead to issues in other organs like the kidneys, heart, brain, and liver. If "death" is your only measure, then we are doing this wrong. It's never good to contract a virus even if you live through it. With that said, we seem to be the only developed country that still doesnt have a grip on this thing. So many other countries have managed to get their case counts down, even with increased testing. Compare these charts to see how effed we are and why, thanks to folks who refuse to follow some rules, we are now an infected nation whose least worry is whether we have football or not. We dont deserve it. Look at these trends compared to ours... Even ITALY got their act together after being hit so hard. Our disaster:
  3. Had a good run. Still sad to lose one of the all time greats. RIP Comedy Legend
  4. Thought this thread was going to go in a different direction...
  5. Dang, this certainly makes the Pats better than if they had rolled with Stidham, and I think puts them and the Bills just about even on paper. It will be a matter of who ends up 10-6 and who ends up 9-7.
  6. Ha! Well, yes and no. Both Netflix and HBO have come out in the past and said they do not mind account sharing, and have even setup Profile capabilities so different viewers on the same account can keep to themselves. They'd rather have a few people sharing an account and watching on the official app, than have people pirate their shows and not be able to count those views at all. COMET is the best station I've ever found and it was never on cable. Makes switching to the antenna worth it. Great sci-fi and bad B movie content.
  7. All Disney movies (full archive going back to the 50s), all Disney channel programming. It also has the full Star Wars franchise (all movies and shows), the full Marvel franchise (movies and shows), full Pixar franchise, and National Geographic programming. Plus the Hulu subscription which is current movies and programming. Plus ESPN+ which gets you streaming to all the ESPN channels and ESPN+ content (30 for 30 library, live MMA, international sports, and additional NHL games (when there was a season)). And access to ESPN Insider online. For $13/month Then I share logins with my siblings and get HBONowMax and Netflix in return. Add in the HD antenna (and the 40 stations it picks up), and instead of paying $100+ for crappy cable, I'm paying $13/month for more than we can even watch.
  8. Ok Boomer. ? Not to stray too far off topic, but as someone who was already paying for Hulu, the Disney+ package is a great deal. Hulu, ESPN+ (w/Insider access), and Disney+ for like $13/month.
  9. Is PFF a pay-for site now? I get ESPNInsider through my ESPN+ subscription, which I get through my Disney+ subscription.
  10. Hoping for the same. A reunion with McD's system and getting out of the toxic waste dump known as "The Washington Team" should help anyone bounce back at least a little. ? I'll be stealing that
  11. Bubba wasnt at the track, his TEAM reported the noose as suspicious since it was their first time in that bay and no other bay had such a handle. NASCAR supported the team, and initiated an investigation. The FBI concluded their investigation, found no targeting, and also determined it was not planted there by Wallace's team either. The FBI also concluded that Wallace's team and NASCAR handled it perfectly, and the investigation was called for. No one staged a protest. No one made any reactionary moves. No one cried to boycott NASCAR. How did Bubba "go too far"? Instead of trying to "blame" Wallace for something, or demand he show contrition, how about we focus on the good. The unity that NASCAR, and all drivers and pit crews showed through this.
  12. You went off relevant discussion 3 posts ago in your refusal to actually read the post you are replying to. Now we're just BS'ing in a dying thread.
  13. Look at GG, going on Don Lemon's show and DOUBLING DOWN! You have better reading comprehension than this. I know it.
  14. Listen, both your screen names begin with "J" and that's as far as people want to read. Deal with it!
  15. Exactly. Nothing wrong with looking into something that is suspicious. Good on NASCAR for being supportive and protective of their drivers. There were no over-reactionary firings of NASCAR executives. NASCAR didnt hand Bubba a win, or punish other teams. They just rightfully investigated. Not sure why some folks are worked up and wanting to "blame" Watson, or have some sort of reactionary punishment or revenge. This all went exactly how it should. We should all be happy.
  16. This entire situation went off perfectly, imo. Watson and his team found something suspicious, and reported it. NASCAR as a league, and all the crews involved, rallied around Watson to support him. An investigation was launched, and it was determined there was no harmful intent. Everyone goes on with their lives. Most likely closer and more unified than before. edit: The FBI also determined that Watson's team had NO involvement with planting the noose/pull, so all the #BubbaSmollet jokes dont apply and only serve to make matters worse. What's the problem?
  17. Instead, we're all obsessed with Uranus.
  18. Upper right hand corner, dude.
  19. sighh.... *unzips*
  20. The only thing I can come up with is that what I consider to be "the most embarrassing Bills moment" came against the Jets. When tin-man Chad Pennington juked Eddie Robinson out of his jock. That memory, and the disgust in that moment, is seared into my brain. That's all I got.
  21. That's correct. The hammer does not consider the nail a rival. Unfortunately for us, we've been the nail for a long time. I'll take Jimmy Spags over any Bahston fan, tho.
  22. There is absolutely zero data that backs up the notion that heat has any direct affect on the virus. And plenty of warm weather countries have had the virus sweep through. There are studies that show the difference in human behavior in warm temps has slowed the spread of other diseases and viruses (being outdoors instead of cooped up together in the winter). But no study has been able to prove that normal summer temps kill or slow the virus. I believe it was 160 or 180 degrees that finally killed it, but if it gets that hot we have bigger problems than COVID.
