  1. Big difference between sports media and journalism.
  2. There are so many different stories, Im sure not all of them are true (or maybe?). But even if 1 of them is, theyre effed. That guy is also saying Redskins security was threatening outlets who had the stories previously. So maybe that was enough to make them sit. Didnt want to lose further access and didnt have enough concrete evidence yet. The ties to the Bruce Allen NDA expiring recently are pretty interesting. Theyre saying he's the only one who would have some of this info.
  3. Rooney Rule violations too! If even a small percentage of what this guy is tweeting is true, Snyder is effed
  4. Go through his follow up comments on here too Basically, everyone in the Org besides Mike Shanahan fell for the honeypot.
  5. Seeing a lot of chatter about RG3 and why Shanahan didnt want him around.
  6. Do they auction that off with other seized property? One run through the dishwasher and she's good to go!
  7. We eat a LOT of eggs in this house, in any number of ways. My wife is a GREAT breakfast cook (great in general too, but especially breakfasts). Fried Over medium Scrambled with a few types of cheeses melted in Quiche (today she made an artichoke/spinach quiche, last weekend she made a sausage/peppers/onions quiche) Breakfast sandwich (fried egg, american cheese, bacon, avacado, on an english muffin) Hardboiled Egg salad sandwiches Deviled eggs And back when we had these places called "restaurants" to go to for brunch, we were a Benedict family. We judge brunch places by their Bennys.
  8. Take it up with SJW Tom Bauerle, who is the only person talking about this.
  9. I believe NoHuddle was referring to Genny Cream Ale. Hence the "garbage" label. In my house growing up, Labatt was the KING of beers ?
  10. Good teams find a way. It's up to the GM to figure out how to make it work. Us fans should just enjoy it. Something us "Cash-to-Cap" abused Bills fans will need to get used to.
  11. It's around down here. Our Bills Bar before the move to Whitehall used to serve pounders. You can find it in a few different bars. The funniest part is, with the big Craft Brew movement of the past 15 years, folks think it's a special delicacy-type of craft beer! I've seen it on tasting menus and draft specials. Little do they know that to us, it's the garbage our grandfathers drank and that we drank since it was all there was to steal from my family's garage when I was underage! ?
  12. You kiss like grandma
  13. Then we SHOULD change the name of the team... The Beautiful River Bills!
  14. Just remember when they come for our "Bills", the idea was started by Liberal Protestor and SJW Tom Bauerle
  15. We'd need a far more Polish ethnic name than Bob. Maybe the Stanleys?
  16. For real. I'm actually all for the name being changed. Not for anything PC related, but because it's pretty much the cheesiest name in all of pro sports. The team mascot is actually the city name? And WTF is a "Bill" if you didnt have the context of American history?
  17. Right. I'm with ya. I dont think it was even "bad news". Was just sayin that is probably what he is building this baseless fearmongering off of.
  18. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffalo_Bill The good news is he was a Union soldier, so we pass there. The bad news is he served the military in the Indian Wars. But I dont see anyone going that far. Big difference between this and "Red Skins".
  19. Absolutely baseless assertion to simply rile up his listeners with a Slippery Slope fallacy.
  20. How is a species of bird within a Native American theme? Either way, I think they'd be smart to stay away from any and all Native American imagery completely. Just move on to something neutral. The Redhawks would be like the Seahawks. Nothing offensive there, except those bright green color-rush unis
  21. Not sure what is appropriate for this thread, so Hap, move/delete is necessary. But a couple of articles from today... Coronavirus immunity can start to fade away within weeks, according to a new study which puts a 'nail in the coffin' in the idea of herd immunity Two months after infection, COVID-19 symptoms persist Neither are great news for the "Just let all the players get it" crowd. [Edit: here's the link to the "persistent symptoms" study. Most common symptoms: fatigue, and dyspnea (shortness of breath). Most of the patients in the study were diagnosed with pneumonia, so that makes a lot of sense. On the other hand the "fade away within weeks" thing doesn't really mean what they say it means. Serum antibody levels are not the be-all and end-all of adaptive immunity.]
  22. Yep, This. We've had it happen with a number of packages since the lockdown started. USPS says it's delivered, it's not on our porch, the wife freaks out and starts emailing everyone, and then it shows up the next day. I've gotten her to the point where she'll give it a day or so now. So far, everything has shown up... eventually.
