If ETN ends up a McCaffery talent, added to THIS offense, then we win at least 1 (if not 2) Super Bowls. And when his 5 years are up, we let him walk and draft another RB high. While folks are right to hold the general rule of "dont draft a RB in the 1st", that is more true for regular or even losing teams like we have been in the past. The situation changes for a winning team that has most of the rest of their roster in place. When you have pretty much everything else set, or can address it elsewhere, getting into a cycle of drafting a top-talent RB in the 1st every 5 years isn't the worst place to be.

New Episode of Bills Embedded 5/20
DrDawkinstein replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Besides the reports from that Thursday night that Beane had been trying to get up ahead of the Jags (who drafted ETN)... ETN with this RB class was the only one worth trading up for. After ETN (and I guess Harris) there was a steep drop off in RB talent. Whereas the DE class was deep, but flat. Meaning, all of the guys taken in the first 2 rounds were about equally rated. No reason to try to spend extra capital to get a guy at #19, when you can get equal talent at #30 and #61. Especially a non-producer like Paye. ETN is a special Offensive weapon and a huge upgrade over what we have at RB. They tried to make their move on a playmaker, but when the price was too high, they were happy to sit back at #30 and take the best DE who fell to them. Absolutely. Addison should have done what Hughes did to Wilson in the Seahawks game and just stayed in front of him to disrupt the play. -
New Episode of Bills Embedded 5/20

ETN was 100% absolutely the 1st round target they were trying to trade up for. However, unlike past regimes, they did not fall too in love with a skills player and talk themselves into overpaying in a trade-up. They set their values and stuck to them, and were happy to stay put and go with their fallback option at #30. The fact they didnt take any other RBs does not prove they weren't looking at a RB at all. It's more logical to assume they saw ETN as the obvious higher-tier upgrade over our current RBs, but did not see any of the other remaining RBs that way. I'm happy with our picks. Love that we double-dipped at both DE and OT. Can't have too many of those guys. Can't wait to see how Basham does. Really interesting to see that even the FO thought it "was crazy" (great reference) to pick DEs back-to-back like that. And the jokes about all the size, and taking the tallest guys on the board. Shows that it wasn't necessarily by design as some master plan, but just the way the boards worked out. For a PR, fluff piece, this was still a decent behind-the-scenes look. Go Bills! -

Upon further review, it would seem that "Ouch" later became "Twist My Arm". What ya think? -

Correct. Fully recorded as tracks but left off the album. Johnny Fay has confirmed they have at least 44 Masters unreleased, possibly 68. -

Alright, I made it through the entire EP. IMO, I can safely say this is not a release of some garbage that got cut for a reason. They are all top-notch Road Apples-era Hip tracks. I'm almost upset that they withheld them from the public for so long. I'm trying to imagine how Road Apples would have been viewed if they had included these tracks and made it an 18 song double album. Truly an epic masterpiece for sure. RIP Gord -

Man, this is all kinda mind blowing. These tracks from 1990 hold up better than some of the stuff they DID release at the same time. Maybe that's why they got cut. They were ahead of their time. I've read that if you pay close attention, you can pick up some lyrics in Ouch that Gord later modified and re-used for other songs that were released. I'll have to take a deep dive into it tonight after I "get my mind right". -

There are two white tees with backwards caps. I was talking about the one with the long hair. The other one is definitely Josh, I agree. He was tough to identify at first because he was hunched over. -

Very excited for this! Havent had a chance to listen yet, but I've been told this is a great version of "Montreal" -

I'm hearing this was also a dinner to celebrate Josh's Birthday, although I dont see him in this clip. It does look like there were other tables of players as well. -

Gotcha, thanks. I'm on CB Pro as well, and for those same reasons. Luckily I got into the game late, so when I googled around to see which exchange to join, there were already plenty of articles pointing out that Pro is free and has lower fees and better trading options. However, I'm thinking about also starting a Binance or Bilaxy account as well. I worry that if anything I dabble in actually did hit the moon, or if I wanted to just cash everything out and get out of the game, doing so from a single platform might be tough. Or if the company goes breasts up or something crazy (COIN stock tanking, Binance under SEC investigation, etc). Want to be a little diversified in who has my money.

Out of curiosity, which platforms/exchanges do you trade on?

Which feels like 10 miles at 12:30am after a MNF game when the tailgate started at 2pm. -
There are lots of things working against COIN being thought of as a good investment besides being linked to the price of crypto (which is absolutely is). Their business model in general isnt great. I was excited and got in early, but luckily quickly got out as well.

All you need to do is look at their stock price from their IPO last month to today to know that "crashing" is pretty standard for them.

Nah, it finally loaded for me a few minutes later. Not sure if they were just overloaded, or pulling an ol' Robinhood. I was more upset because I want to be able to buy if it drops below $30k. Not trying to sell anything off yet.
