Yeah, that "letter" does not speak well to Florida State academics. To/Too...
-
Well, yeah, if the coaches arent going to worry about the kids' health, they have to worry about it themselves. And he isnt trying to overstep and speak for team mates, only for himself. So what?

I look forward to the long list of complaints in the "Yeah, but" threads that will be here after we win a Super Bowl.

Hard Knocks: LA - Premiers tonight 8/11
DrDawkinstein replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While probably not the worst coach to ever be on Hard Knocks, the biggest on-screen dud that I can remember was Joe Philbin with the Dolphins. I remember watching the first episode that season and saying "We're gonna stomp these guys twice a year", and sure enough... Nice guy, tragic what happened with his son, but it was immediately evident he wouldnt be able to lead a room full of today's players. I think Lynn is subdued and therefore boring on TV, but he's a little more respected by the players. -
A side thought: I'd bet this extension only helps with negotiating all the high-profile player extensions we have coming up. White, Dawkins, and especially Milano can see the coach who is going to be here through their next contract, and it's someone they actually want to play for.
-
Great news, and now I'm dying to see where the $$ comes in.
-
For accuracy's sake: 6 Year Contract 4 Year Extension
-
Of course he has more to prove. He's been a HC for all of 3 years. And now he'll have a chacne to prove it. And for what it's worth, I'm not the only one to feel that way... (from late December)
-
Absolutely not. Look around the league. There isnt exactly a ton of coaching options or prospects. Heck, teams are bringing in 1-year college coaches. Without looking through a list, I'd say he's arguably a top 10 HC in the NFL. And I think a LOT of players around the league would agree.
-
Given his experience with the Davis family and coaching contracts, I'd be surprised if this was true. I agree it's possible, I'd just be surprised.
-
If it turns out he sucks for the next 2 years, then they fire him and it doesnt affect the team at all. Only Terry's (well-stocked) bank account.
-
All years on all coaching contracts are guaranteed. No? They are separate from the Cap, and paid like any internal employee.

lol, you called it
