  1. And has a ton of training on sliding since he was also a baseball player, and drafted by MLB. Big, gangly guys like Josh who try to slide end up jamming their knee in the turf and getting injured. So Baseball Camp?
  2. It's a bull#### PhD in "Message Board Theory" 🤣 I may have been wrong (hard to believe, I know) about being a Bills fan. Looks like it was more of just hating the home team. I just remembered a number of tweets had been dug up right after he was drafted that had to do with Bills vs Dolphins and him talking smack about the Phins and their fans. But I'll keep on believing it because it makes me like him even more.
  3. I didnt go to message board school for 10 years to be called Dareus. It's Dr Dawkins now, thank you very much!
  4. Agreed. Is there still the 6 week IR too? Maybe: IR-3 IR-6 and the dreaded... IR
  5. Splitting hairs, but something I just thought of... Do you count Moss's TD from Sunday? Or no because it was a pass?
  6. I prefer to believe he grew up a Bills fan. And remember Jerry, it's not a lie if you believe it.
  7. Maybe more of a Dolphins hater? There are a number of old tweets of him talking trash about the Phins against the Bills.
  8. I KNOW there is one where he says "Time to watch the Bills beat the Dolphins. AGAIN" or something along those lines. Still digging. Found it:
  9. They made their rounds on draft day, I'll see what I can dig up. There were a few of him talking trash to his friends.
  10. Theres a lot of these on his feed. He grew up a Bills fan in Dolphins territory. That may have been inaccurate. Looks like he just hated the home town team a lot. And since it's the Dolphins, who can blame him.
  11. WRT Singletary hitting the hole... Agree, he did look slow getting to the line, but it seemed part of that was because Josh was taking his time deciding what to do on the RPOs. Holding onto it too long, and the couple of times he did decide to give it to Motor, it was too late and the Defense already ate him up.
  12. Yes, but right now on a parallel message board, there is a Ravens fan making a thread about the lack of production from their WRs. Only 15 TDs for their WRs last year total. Sure, we could always use more TDs, and definitely need to increase our total scoring from the last couple of years. But even with that, there arent a lot more TDs to go around.
  13. Yep, Spiller was who I was thinking of as well. And he is hardly the example I would use if trying to prove a point.
  14. Glad I read the thread before typing this out myself. The league isnt even seeing RBs breaking 30 yard TD runs on any sort of regular basis. It just doesnt happen. Let alone 40, 50+ yards. What RBs in the NFL are a threat to "take it to the house at any moment"?
  15. If we could get him for a 6th, and he would re-sign for $2M/year, sure. But I dont think either of those things are happening.
  16. ESPN has us #7 https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29886007/week-2-nfl-power-rankings-1-32-poll-plus-team-best-rookie-debut Only one I could really argue against is being behind the 49ers who lost. But we'll see how it plays out, and at least they have us ahead of the Titans who I dont believe in at all. And Pittsburgh should probably be higher. At least ahead of the Patriots, imo.
  17. Dan LeBatard was always a fun read while he was at the Miami Herald in the 1990s, especially on Mondays after a loss to the Bills. Not even Bills fans could roast and destroy the Dolphins as savagely as Dan. Always a great amount of schadenfreude to be had. His ESPN show is more entertainment than Sports Analysis, or even Sports Entertainment. Dont take anything these guys say too seriously.
  18. Jackson would SUCK in Cleveland. Pretty sure anyone would, but especially the guy who needed a completely unique and customized offense be built around him. One that no one with the Browns is/was capable of designing. No one can succeed in Cleveland. That franchise is rotten from the top down. Regardless of how he's looked in NY, I still think Darnold should have been Cleveland's pick. For as bad as Cleveland is, I think it's a better situation than NYJ.
  19. He cant be 0-1 since he beat us. Gotta at least be 1-1.
  20. Josh will be a running weapon for us. We might as well just get used to it. The Bills coaches know the risks. They've been around football before. I'm predicting 2 rushing TDs for Josh alone this week. (Would love to be wrong about all this, but just how I see it)
  21. I'd never forget about Depew's finest, MAJIK MAN!
  22. Oh, they let Brown back out of his cage?
  23. The Packers really blew it selecting Aaron Rodgers. I just watched Favre still sling it.... This is what the Packers do. They have 4 HoF QBs (soon to be 5), and 3 QBs (Starr, Favre, Rodgers) make up 45 of 100 years of their existence.
  24. Watching it live, I thought he skipped the pass in and was hoping it wouldnt get called back in replay. That was a close one and a great job by Brown.
