  1. I almost made this joke in my first post but wasnt sure how many folks are still around to get it.
  2. Again, we are forgetting that we have an Offense (or at least seem to). Week 1 we ran Josh. Week 2, big change, we slung it deep. Week 3... Another big change. Establish the run with our RBs. Let our badass OL get to mauling. Control that clock and limit Rams possessions. Put the onus on the Offense again and let our LBs heal completely. ???
  3. Gotta upgrade from that 14086 to a 14228
  4. I dont like it, but I can understand what you are saying.
  5. If he was better than he should have been starting going into the game. They'll work it out. Again, I agree it is ridiculous. But it is how it works in the NFL. Cant lose a job to injury. This isnt the first time we've heard it. Wont be the last.
  6. I'm late to the thread but to the question in the title, I say.... HELL NO Dodson had a "nice" game but no where near what Milano or Edmunds brings to the field. If anything Dodson and Klein may be making the best cases as to why we should break the bank to keep Milano and Edmunds. I was never more popular than when I was driving my 79 280Z a few years ago. Old dudes would stop me at every light to talk about the car and want to trade. Almost took one guy up on the offer for his sweet Benz. Then he thought about it and said "Ahhhh, my wife would kill me".
  7. NBA players do it all the time when setting picks, and they arent even wearing pads. I dont know, I hate the rule. But if they are going to call it like this, then WRs better get used to "setting picks" instead of throwing blocks. I think the other big part of the rule is "Facing your own end zone". If you are turned around and running back towards your own end zone, you will get called for it every time, no matter then severity of the contact. THAT is what refs are watching for the most. Which way the player is facing. I still hate it.
  8. That's a fair point and one I can agree with. But those vets in the locker room would also have to think "What happens to me if I get a fluke injury in warm ups?". Then you start sowing the seeds of distrust. The "right" way to manage this is to allow Tyrod to come back and then make the switch right after.
  9. The call against the Bills, the call in the SNF game, and the call last night = ALL bull#### I know what they are trying to protect against, but none of those plays were it. I hate this rule and the way it is being applied.
  10. I agree. I'm sure we all agree. Probably so does Anthony Lynn. And the rest of the Chargers team. It's a stupid "unwritten rule". But they are going to stick to their code since they want to avoid any culture fall-outs occurring around the locker room if you start giving away starting jobs to injury. I'd hope/expect the move gets made to Herbert the week after Tyrod comes back.
  11. The weak link in our D this week was having BOTH starting LBs, who are a huge part of our pass coverage, injured and out. Where did most of Fitz's passes go? Over the middle. Where do we usually have a 6'6" giant with a 10ft wing span, who was absent Sunday? Over the middle.
  12. Oh man, if you gotta ask...
  13. One of the oldest unwritten rules of football is "You shouldnt lose your starting position to injury". Seems pretty dumb, but so do most unwritten rules. That doesnt mean that they wont switch from Tyrod to Herbert after Tyrod comes back. But they would rather have it "earned" than handed over due to a fluke.
  14. I'm more concerned with our OWN mental stability. We arent going to win every game, and Josh isnt going to look like that every game. There will be a bad game sometime this year. That doesnt mean the season is over, or Josh is a fraud. Bills fans will need to steel themselves and move on to the next week. But for now, I'm loving every minute of it.
  15. I'm totally fine with a new thread for every positive article. Great material to flood the board with after what we dealt with all summer.
  16. I know I sure did! Sweet breakdown. Love seeing the clips from the film and not just game broadcast. OL had a helluva day too!
  17. That's fine. All they are doing is opening the robe to show how nonsensical their entire system really is.
  18. This and its tough to be friends with Kirk Cousins, whereas everyone loves Josh.
  19. No. We'll see it again when the gameplan to do so makes sense.
  20. Our 3rd Quarters arent just an Offensive problem. They are a Team problem that goes all the way up to McDermott. It's the one major problem left in his coaching. I dont know what they do to fix it since I dont know wtf is going on in the locker room at halftime. But it definitely needs to change.
  21. Can we talk about the Josh/Brown celebration at :29? Slap, slap, take a toke, take a shot!
  22. Did I miss it? Or are they teasing us? Who cares about the Cowboys?
  23. Only Josh during an MVP campaign could make me turn on First Take. Got them on mute for now...
  24. We could send Minn another 1st rd pick right now, and I'd be fine with it.
  25. It looks like they rotated Winters in at both RG and LG through the 4th Qtr. With those 90 degree temps, better to keep the bodies fresh. Some big-brain Process thinking out of McD.
