  1. Bills getting a point against the Nick Mullens-lead 49ers?!?!? DROP THAT HAMMER!
  2. It's not as simple as who blocks more guys. The Center has a lot of responsibility for making calls and adjustments for the line. If he isnt making the right reads and right calls, then that could be far worse than Winters missing a block. Heck, it could be WHY Winters has missed blocks. If Feliciano is doing a better job reading the D and setting assignments at the line, then that's all we need to know.
  3. I'm losing a little sleep. Between this and the NY decision, they have set the precedent that there will be no way of stopping the pandemic other than a vaccine. Even with the change of leadership. The US will refuse to enact the common sense mandates that have helped other countries curtail and control the spread of the virus. The US reported more deaths yesterday than what occurred on 9/11. We are now going to be hit with a 9/11 every day until we can get a vaccine and get it distributed to everyone in the country. It is truly a pathetic look for the US for everyone watching from the outside. We look dumb and selfish. It is going to be a long 6-8 months.
  4. Maybe, that's open to some interpretation. But even so, the second part has also been ruled on previously. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Exercise_Clause The Supreme Court of the United States has consistently held, however, that the right to free exercise of religion is not absolute. For example, in the 19th century, some of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints traditionally practiced polygamy, yet in Reynolds v. United States (1879), the Supreme Court upheld the criminal conviction of one of these members under a federal law banning polygamy. The Court reasoned that to do otherwise would set precedent for a full range of religious beliefs including those as extreme as human sacrifice. The Court stated that "Laws are made for the government of actions, and while they cannot interfere with mere religious belief and opinions, they may with practices." For example, if one were part of a religion that believed in vampirism, the First Amendment would protect one's belief in vampirism, but not the practice. The Court said: "Congress cannot pass a law for the government of the Territory which shall prohibit the free exercise of religion. The first amendment to the Constitution expressly forbids such legislation." Of federal territorial laws, the Court said: "Laws are made for the government of actions, and while they cannot interfere with mere religious beliefs and opinions, they may with practices." Unfortunately, this latest ruling goes against precedent. Something that isnt surprising for this now-packed Supreme Court. The Separation of Church and State is crumbling.
  5. But what about the very first part of the sentence? Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion Remember, the Freedom of Religion is also the Freedom FROM Religion. The good of the country supersedes the want of any single religion.
  6. You call that music!?
  7. Kids these days... Right fellas? 🙄 😜
  8. Link? Any further context to what was said?
  9. I can't believe this thread hit 5 pages.
  10. Back in one of my first management jobs I had an employee on my team who had been with the company for almost 20 years, and therefore had something like 6 weeks (30 days) PTO every year. It was a real eye-opening game changer when he submitted his request to schedule off every Friday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. It's 15 days. Gave him a long weekend all summer to be with his family and plan trips, and he still had 2 weeks of PTO left over for the rest of the year. I was a young buck and up until then it had never crossed my mind to do something like that with PTO. We had the coverage so I happily approved it. Really an ingenious move, imo.
  11. Here is her "actress/model" site that Rudy hired her from. I'm guessing she was hired for a different type of "job" first, and then he just kept her around. https://www.exploretalent.com/mellissa23
  12. I know this is a joke but it inspired me to look up his actual contract. 3 years, $18M Nice to have when going into negotiations with Milano.
  13. Friday is my first choice. Have done this in the past and it worked very well. I could see going with Monday as well. Ease back into the week, not have to worry about football hangovers (and much easier to travel for the games). I had tried mid-week days as well, but they were just momentum killers, and I found I was still working and answering emails on my day off. Much easier to draw that line and disconnect when it simply extends the weekend.
  14. That is embarrassing for the entirety of BillsMafia.
  15. Cant tell if she is drunk or if that is the classic Benzo slur. Probably a bit of both. Also, here is Rudy ripping a fart in the middle of the hearing.
  16. This is awesome! Big credit to Frazier (and probably McD) for re-tooling and adjusting the Defense to fit his strengths. Going to be pretty awesome to have this in our pocket with Milano coming back. We're able to throw a TON of different looks and Defenses at opposing offenses now.
  17. Folks who call into sports radio dont really prove anything. If you told me "fans I hear on WGR disagree with you" it would only solidify my opinions as correct.
  18. Sucks for the Steelers and more importantly, Bud Dupree. Never like seeing a guy get hurt. Buuuut.... I aint mad about the Steelers losing one of their best defenders while the Bills get one of theirs back as we get ready to face off in a couple weeks.
  19. THESE are the facemasks theyve been telling us to where the entire time!
  20. Bros, I am LIVING IT as well. 🤣 Johnny, pretty much same situation. 👍
  21. "Opposites attract" Maybe in magnets and lust, but try being married to your opposite and deal with that everyday. No thanks.
  22. "Money doesnt buy happiness" Uhhh, in our capitalist world it absolutely does. Financial security and independence, healthcare, etc...
  23. These are the mistakes you see when prisoners represent themselves. Oooh, I like the foreshadowing in this episode.
  24. No one wants to talk about Joe Exotic jumping in the mix with his dumbass plan? Cmon, thats hilarious no matter where you land on the political spectrum!
