Titans player test positive today 10/7

No one asterisks the 1987 season or Washington's Super Bowl. No one will asterisk this season. It will have some unique stories, but it will still count like all the others. -

Sounds like there is a pretty good chance the league finds some hijinks and forces the Titans to forfeit. Word on WGR just now is that the NFL is investigating a report that a bunch of Titans players got together this week to work out when they were all supposed to be quarantining separately. -

Bubbling is absolutely the best and only real solution for having a successful season. However, that is much easier for the NBA and NHL, when both only needed a couple months in order to finish a compressed season. The NFL would have had to bubble for Camp + the whole season + playoffs. That is a 6 month bubble for lots of folk. That is very tough to pull off. Not only keeping people following protocol that long, but forcing so many people to be away from their families that long. It isnt just million dollar players, but lots of under paid staff too. Aaron Rodgers was just on Pat McAfee yesterday saying he didnt even want to bubble for the playoffs. We would have seen a TON more players opt out. I'm all for the bubble, dont get me wrong. Just saying it would have been a much tougher task for the NFL. -

And Allen was still the FIRST QB EVER taken by the Bills with their first pick of the draft. No wonder this franchise has always struggled. Too much RB love, not enough value on QB. That goes back to Ralph too. -
The poster known as DR was not the tgregg I knew and spoke with for years. I even engaged him recently in his Q thread, not knowing it was tgregg, but just interested in what the PPPs Q-leader had to say. It was pretty much as expected, and all the typical Q garbage. I dont need to read what any other person says about him. I got to experience it for myself. I hope he gets help. You are right, I dont spend too much time down here. The front page showed a preview of a thread titled "Banned Usernames", and I clicked since that is a pretty intriguing thread title. Especially when it shows that SDS started it. I thought it was going to be about not being able to use handles like "deez nutts" or something, lol. Instead it lead down here and I got sucked into reading all this message board drama from a bunch of grown ass adults. Was surprised to see the reference to Tgreg and had to ask. I got my answer. So I'm going to bow the eff out of this basement and leave you all to it. See you on the main board. Go Bills.

I hope this break gives him an opportunity to get his head on straight.

That doesnt make the psychotic break any better.

Sad to see what was an "ol buddy" get lost down that Q hole. I hope he can find his way out of that mess. Social Media will be the downfall of mankind.

No, really?!?! Ah, thats a big bummer.

Wait. Was DR originally tgregg99?

Too good. Supposedly around 1982 when Ace left KISS. There have been two versions I've heard. One went that Eddie was frustrated with VH and Gene told him to stick it out. Another goes that they took Eddie to lunch to ask him to join and he declined. Unfortunately, some googling for interviews to link to the story show that Gene is the only one who tells it. Eddie doesnt remember ever having that conversation, but also admits he could have been effed up enough to not remember. So who knows. True or not, they were all very close friends and I like what it adds to LA Rock lore of that time.

https://www.tmz.com/2020/10/06/eddie-van-halen-dead-dies-cancer-65/ Amazing self-taught guitarist who Gene Simmons stopped from joining KISS and told him to start his own band. Laid down the classic riff and furious lick in Michael Jackson's Beat It. Battled some bad substance abuse in the 2000s, but fought through and got cleaned up. Van Halen >> Van Haggar RIP Eddie

Sad life of abuse and drugs. No doubt the abuse started early on with info like this Poor kid never had a chance. -
Last night. Sure, I liked seeing his few flashes in 2018 (eg Vikes), and started really buying in last year (Cowboys), but he still wasnt there. Now I see him this year, with the development steps he's taken, and... wow. It really clicked for me last night while watching the Green Bay/Atlanta game. I watched a number of other games this weekend, and none of the other QBs impressed me. And I realized it was because I had this example of Josh in my brain and he is currently so far ahead of them. Then watching Aaron Rodgers last night, it felt like I finally saw another QB who compared to Josh, and then it clicked "Aaron Rodgers is the only QB that is similar to Josh. THE KID IS FOR REAL!" Dont get me wrong, there are other good QBs, and some that might be even better (Russ & Patrick, maybe), but neither of them look/play like Josh. Especially when throwing the ball. Feels good man.

I, for one, will be glad the Pack have neither of those players when we meet them in the Super Bowl. -
MNF: Pats* at Chiefs 7:05 pm CBS
DrDawkinstein replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Man, that was so sweetly satisfying to watch the Pats STINK and get the ***** kicked out of them on National TV. A great way to end Victory Monday. Watching last night felt VERY MUCH like roles have been reversed. We're the Top 3 team with the MVP QB, and they are floundering with a string of horrible QBs. Loved every second. Feels good man. -
Hypothetical: Chances we regret losing Daboll?
DrDawkinstein replied to jletha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills and Josh stay on their projected trend, Daboll will be the hottest coaching candidate on the market. I would be SHOCKED if given his choice, he picked the Jets, even with a #1 overall pick. Would be a majorly dumb move. -
Thanks for the heads up, but this board is the extent of my social media accounts.
