  1. We were all in our early/mid 30s at the time. Just young enough to make it through the day, but old enough to take two weeks to recover and WISH we had just died.
  2. I once held a "Common Man Combine" party. Invited a bunch of folks over for a day of drinking and running drills. We did the usual Combine drills (marked out 40 yards on the sidewalk), and then some drinking/chugging contests. Pretty funny day. Suffice to say, none of us got a call to come to camp.
  3. I'm going to need to see @GunnerBill's analysis and rankings of TwoBillsDrive prospects.
  4. A season played through a pandemic that everyone already knew was kinda *****y going in.
  5. But then that gives us an unfair advantage over every other team. If they go by win %, and we have less games played but equal wins, we win that tie breaker. So to play the Reverse Uno card on you, what if they "cancel" a Pats game and we both have 11 wins at the end? They'll have a win % of of 73%, and ours will be 69% (ha, nice). There isnt a perfect answer to this.
  6. There really arent that many options. Especially when we are this early in the season and still have a lot of weeks that could also get effed up. I'd say the randomness of it is what makes it more fair than not. But what I expect to happen: The NFL will "postpone" the game to an undecided later date, tbd. With the idea of adding a week at the end. And if things get worse, they cancel/forfeit it. But that probably wont be ultimately determined until close to the end of the season. In other words, the NFL will string us along and eff this up for everyone involved.
  7. Sucks, but it is what it is. 2020. Plus if we were that close, we'd get the WC
  8. They only way a forfeit happens is if a team blatantly breaks rules and doesnt follow protocol. If that happens, then I'd be pissed at the team who had to forfeit, not the NFL or other team or anyone else. This is a very unique (strange) year. It will NOT be "fair". I want what is safest for everyone, not what is "fair".
  9. I also just made this, feel free to steal and pass around...
  10. I'm sorry Titans, did someone break protocol?
  11. Previously covered back in the 70s pages of this thread, the NFL can not LEGALLY televise games on Saturdays from Sept to Dec. The game could be played Saturday, but it cant be aired. And I dont think the NFL is going to give up a prime time Chiefs/Bills game.
  12. LOL, exactly what I just typed out too.
  13. So at best we really wont know anything for sure until Saturday. Unless they have a positive test tomorrow, then the weekend is shot. But if they have no positives tomorrow, then we wait and see. And if no positives Saturday, then they get back in Sunday and game is Monday. But any positives tomorrow or Saturday blow the game out of the water and the league decides whether to reschedule or forfeit.
  14. On that second tweet, I thought it was very telling that through all the Season Hype videos the different teams put out this summer during Training Camp, the Bills were the only team I saw who were 100% following proper protocol in EVERY shot. Like it was noticeable how strict we were being. Masks on and covering the nose in every shot. No other team was 100%, and they were selectively edited videos! That is all culture and Sean McD. We are in very good hands.
  15. Ron Howard Voice: They arent fine.
  16. To be fair, NOT believing something even when presented with clear and absolute evidence, is pretty common these days. For example...
  17. That's about where I am at. They are already 0-3 3-0. Just wipe them from this season, suspend the entire franchise, give all of their opponents Ws. Go nuclear and make sure this crap doesnt happen anywhere else again. edit: oops got that backwards!
  18. Yes and No. Teller is a good fit for Clevelands running offense, but would likely not be doing as well in our passing Offense. Happy for him that he is finding success. And I'll give the author some credit for finding other MVP candidates besides the same ol QBs.
  19. All Titans starting WRs are out right? And they mostly run the ball anyways? Sit Tre for next week if need be.
  20. I'm not sure bonuses get broken up and lumped into the 16 game payments. Most are paid in a lump sum at time of bonus earning (signing, new league year, etc). That's why I went with base salary.
  21. Out active roster has a base salary (not counting bonuses) of $120,885,524. Divided by 16, that is $7,555,354. Not sure staff counts since they do not get paid "per game".
  22. They absolutely could move to Sunday or Monday, but going back through the quote chain, BrianMoorman4jesus originally said they'd move the game to Saturday. That is what we were addressing.
  23. Check back a few pages. They cant play on Saturdays Sept-Dec. Well, I guess they could PLAY, they just cant televise it.
  24. Yes, fully independent. The NFL knows better than to trust the teams with a matter like this.
