  1. The LEAST of our problems.
  2. Scroll up 7 posts. His shoulder is into the bottom of his facemask.
  3. Absolutely. And these Professionals really have no excuses. I only have 8 years of little loop and high school experience, and a couple years playing Rugby, and somehow know far better tackling technique than they do. It's sad that they are more concerned with making it "look cool" than actually doing it properly (and therefore, safely). The crazy part is, they can still have HUGE, awesome looking hits on the highlight reel by doing it right and driving through the guy. It also saves them from the embarrassment when the ball carrier bounces off their shoulder hit and keeps going down the field.
  4. No he really doesnt. He never gets anywhere close the correct breakdown stance of proper tackling technique. He dips his shoulder a bit, but is still running straight up. That's a flag.
  5. Late to the thread, and yall wont like hearing it, but it was a penalty and not a great hit. "Eyes through the Thighs" is how you properly tackle. Hyde had the time and room to line him up correctly with proper technique but chose not to. So he gets the flag. You cant launch your shoulder into a guys chin. Just cant do it. Defenders, especially Safeties, should be well aware of the league trying to get rid of this human-missile, poor form, dangerous tackling technique. He could have had a big hit there legally too. That's on Hyde.
  6. While I understand, and absolutely agree with, your main point... Either of these may have actually won us a Super Bowl. Especially the first one. Juuuuuuust a smidge too soft. If all he did differently was implement and enforce a curfew the week before the Super Bowl, like every other team, we probably win SB25.
  7. I think we could sign him for a Big Mac coupon book. Git'R'Dun
  8. And we are fine with that. In a passing league where plenty of offenses are putting up 30, 40+ points every game, we will HAPPILY let teams do nothing but run the ball, and hold them to 20-something points just like we did against the high-octane Super Bowl champs. The problem wasnt the gameplan last night, it was Offensive execution. We held the Chiefs to 26 points, but failed to score 27 or more. I dont necessarily love it. It is Jauron ball. Keep the score close and hope to pull it out. It leads to "playing not to lose" instead of playing to win. But we've been aggressive otherwise this season, whereas it was Jauron's ONLY plan EVERY game.
  9. Yep, I still think we can pull out 10-6, maybe even 11-5 if we get some guys off injury and stay healthy. The division is still ours for the taking, and really ours to lose. Need to get back on track the next two weeks.
  10. Whichever Mod merged this garbage into my thread is getting 1 official DrDawkinstein Warning Point. @Hapless Bills Fan, @Chandler#81, I got my eye on yous!
  11. He's definitely playing downhill. The problem is he has no brakes and is coming down that hill at a bad angle, so one stutter step and the ball carrier goes right past him. The angles on him missed tackles are infuriating. I won't say he's out of position, or misdiagnosing plays, since we truly have no clue what his actual assignments are. My main criticism, and what I will ding him for, is his lack of instincts on chasing down runners and making open field tackles. Dude should be a huge, fast beast swallowing up runners. Instead he looks like a baby giraffe learning how to run.
  12. I count only the INT Allen threw later in the game as his first real and only interception of the season. That was the only one that was on him. The INT in the Rams game simply wasnt an INT, and the 1st of the Tenn game is all on Roberts. I was happy to see Roberts come back and make that toe-drag catch along the sidelines. But then that fumble... Seems like the entire team were all trying to do too much instead of just doing their jobs.
  13. #DeleteFacebook #DeleteTwitter Get off the platforms if yall really dont like what they are doing. Especially on Social Media since YOU are the product and can directly affect their money.
  14. Noted. Doc is out of the running. It's down to the Chiefs, Bills, Phins, and maybe Pats.
  15. I was answering starry's question, not saying it was actually happening. STOP NIT PICKING ME BROOOOO
  16. I'm torn between the HAHA emoji and SAD emoji
  17. He's not negotiating a double dip, he's negotiating TO double dip. Meaning, telling the new team(s) that they are not going to get any salary help from what the Jets owe. The new team is starting at $0 instead of the $5.5M.
  18. Previous GM signed him. Gase never wanted him and he never wanted to play for Gase. The Jets will ruin him too. And Im not too impressed with Lawrence in general. He's hardly the best QB prospect from the last few years.
  19. What happens if he doesnt sign with anyone and stays at home in Florida and the Jets pay him the owed $6M?
  20. All good, I was excited for a second there.
  21. That's not Ryan Fitzpatrick
  22. These typical/fake reports are starting to roll in. Just had a buddy text me that Bell is in Buffalo and was spotted at Danny's. No he isnt, and no he wasnt.
  23. I dont think he's changed much at all. Just saying its possible. And even just a little bit is all that could matter. Plus, his money is already locked in this year, so all it comes down to is winning.
  24. People can change after going through big experiences. Plus, his pay this year is already set in stone. Exactly. If there were a Top 3 DL or LB who just got released, we'd be all over him. As it stands, that isnt the case.
  25. Top Top talent in the league, dynamic weapon, great blocker, great receiver, Motor/Moss aint really lighting it up, etc etc
