  1. Eh, maybe. But if there is one thing I've learned, it's don't count Beane out of anything. And I'd be shocked if the only idea he had for DE was "Watt or draft pick".
  2. Based on Watt-Watch coming down to the Cardinals and Bills, folks should expect that we ABSOLUTELY go after DL help in free agency.
  3. I dont give a *****, Andy. Agreed, and Beane screwed the pooch last year by not releasing Murphy before his guarantee kicked in. But I dont think now is the right time for Hughes. More so based on where the team is than the player. Unless they have a big time FA lined up. Not saying Beane wont do anything there, but imo, I let the man keep his money.
  4. Hughes is set to make only $9.45M, and imo has earned the right to keep every penny of it. Leave him be.
  5. Poor Joey B, but frankly, the less of this prediction that comes true, the better. Now bring back McKenzie!
  6. Is he expected to last to 30?
  7. Interesting. But if last year proved anything it was that Brady was the one responsible for shoving our faces in the dirt for 20 years, not the Pats. Still hate him.
  8. Yeah, that was a confusing tweet. Looks like the extension is 4 years (onto the 1 remaining), but Tampa can void it in 2 years, so he is locked into Tampa for at least 2 seasons, but could be 5.
  9. Free Agency doesnt start for 5 more days, so neither. Unless you are talking about guys who are already home on the couch.
  10. My wife's boyfriend LOVES Tom Brady, so I do too!
  11. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA $14M! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA And here I was worried theyd use all that cap space to get a lot better.
  12. It doesnt have to. There. Do you feel better now?
  13. Yeah, I'm riding Edmunds out as long as I can to see what he can grow into. We'll see where he is at in 2023.
  14. I'd still trigger the 5th year option on Edmunds. It's only $12M in 2022 when the cap will be higher. He has a lot to prove, imo, but I'm not ready to give up on the dude. He is the same age as Epenesa. I know it's cliche at this point, but I do want to see if he can take another step still.
  15. Klein costs us $6M this year, Milano $7M. That's still less than some thought Milano would command in the market, and we get TWO LBs who can start if one gets injured. I like it.
  16. That post had nothing to do with you. Stop making this about you.
  17. Well, they got their numbers misplaced on this one regardless.
  18. Spotrac is often wrong when a contract first hits. They clean it up as they go.
  19. Unlikely. $7M Signing Bonus makes more sense. Otherwise, a $24M signing bonus and $24M guaranteed... is more than the entire contract is supposed to be worth.
  20. Spotrac is often wrong this early in the news cycle on a new signing. Looks like they calculated a $24M signing bonus, when what is being reported is a $7M signing bonus and $24M guaranteed over the life of the contract. Or the report of the $7M signing bonus is wrong, but that number seems more right than $24M
