  1. I was kinda confused on this too. Defense jumps, it's a "free play". If Josh throws an INT there, they wipe it out like it never happened and it's Bills' ball, 2nd and 5. So if the offside penalty is enforced, nothing that happened after it counts, and there should be no offsetting penalty. Or if we decline the offside, then the block in the back counts, spot foul, 1st and 20. Either way, I'm done with Knox. The meathead makes more negative plays than positive.
  2. Absolutely. But I'm not talking about other teams, or how the Bills compare to other teams. I'm talking about being consistent with turnovers instead of feast or famine.
  3. There is plenty of money to go around. We've already wasted a lot of money on far lesser players on the DL this year (cutting Murphy and not signing Butler would have paid for Ngakoue alone). It's Beane's job to make it work, and there are more ways to work the cap than any of us know. Diggs is under contract at over $10M/year through 2023.
  4. That's incorrect. He just had a Senate that protected him and a base that doesnt care. There's enough in the reports now, wait and see what else comes out when they are unredacted. We all know he's desperate for Putin's approval. He has never hidden that. He stood on stage in front of the world and threw America's own agencies under the bus to side with Putin.
  5. We are already in the driver's seat to win the Division. So with that fact alone, no need to mortgage any of the future to try to get 1 player. Not surprised Beane didnt make any trades. Especially in a season where the whole thing can go sideways with 1 positive test. Win the division, try to win a playoff game. Reload to make a run next year when the entire season isnt hanging on by a thread. Pissed we didnt make the trade for Ngakoue originally. I would have happily given two 2nds for him (2020 and 2021). Yannick >>> Epenesa & Another Rookie. But that ship has sailed. We were in the running for Bell. Would love to have signed him. But oh well.
  6. I'm sure a large part of it was Carroll underestimating how aggressive McD was willing to be. However, part of the reason for his comments is because a coach can't come out and say "Our Pass D stinks, the players we have can't execute or cover, it's a huge weakness for us, and these guys arent getting any better". Even if it's the truth. Sometimes a coach just has to eat it in the media to protect his players. It's part of the job and why most coach-speak in pressers is predictable and worthless.
  7. Absolutely not, and he absolutely wont. For different reasons. He wont declassify any of that because most of the topics you are asking for would provide dirt on conservatives/the GOP. He shouldn't because it will only weaken America and our intelligence agencies. More likely, on his way out he'll declassify something weirdly specific but seemingly irrelevant that will leave his supporters scratching their heads. At that point, be confident the only purpose behind the release will be to help Daddy Vladdy compare intelligence on a certain subject so he can get a better idea of how we collect data, and who his moles/spies are inside his own house.
  8. Lock both these guys up and draft all Defense
  9. Why doesnt the NFL bring in the Glenn Miller Orchestra so Mable and I can do the Charleston during halftime! Does it even count as music if there's no brass section?
  10. For the sake of discussion. For the sake of having a better idea of who this team is when thinking about trends, averages, and predictability. Because we all know a 4-TO game is not the norm or anywhere near it for this team. It doesnt matter who we did it against. Because of this one game that padded the numbers, the stats do not provide an accurate representation of how the team plays. Have you been happy with the number of turnovers the Defense had created before last week? See. Same thing. For the sake of discussion. I absolutely agree. And I dont even count Josh's 2nd INT of the year when talking about Josh's performance since that one is on Andre Roberts. But I dont really expect any of the stats to change. They are what they are. Even though we know Josh doesnt have as big of an INT trend as the stats would say. Did I say we suck? I'm just trying to get a better idea of who this team is week over week. When you look at our performances, we are not a Defense that causes consistent turnovers. I dont care about the others teams. I'm talking about whether you can assume, based on stats vs actual play, that we will produce turnovers. I'm not petitioning the league to change the stats. This isnt that serious. Anyone who has Doug Forcett as their avatar, I got dibs on.
  11. So if I'm reading this right, the Bills won the election?
  12. You are correct. The "bar" has been set?
  13. No offense to the Weeknd or any other SB halftime performer past, present or future... but the standard has been set, never to be broken, by the man, the myth, the legend... Prince Everyone needs to watch this 8min documentary. "Can you make it rain harder?"
  14. What is this, Ozzfest?!?
  15. The ONLY thing he is doing right now is making one last hail-mary grifting effort to scam money out of his idiotic (his words, because he despises them) base. None of the money he is asking for in his "legal fight" goes to the election recount. It gets split between the RNC and his pockets, so he can stuff them as he gets thrown out the door.
  16. When I saw the title in the TBD preview, I thought this was going to be a Mrs Howell thread and thought "this may be a new low, even for OTW" although... I know for a fact some of us here have done worse...
  17. From your Keyboard to McD's ears, I hope.
  18. Absolutely. We are what our record and stats say we are. That's usually how I feel 99.999% of the time. But anomalies do get thrown out in stats and analytics for a reason. Just something to keep in mind. Now, if we string together a few more +4 TO games, then that will really be something.
  19. We had 4 TOs against Seattle, right? 2 INTs and 2 Fumbles. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but that one feast game kinda skews our stats and standing. Without them, we'd be -1 in TO differential. Which is more indicative of our overall performance.
  20. Yeah, it's kind of surprising. I knew we were doing better than last year, but that isnt saying much. I also need to look up where we rank in turnover differential. One of the biggest steps Josh has taken this year has been cutting out the turnovers. Even with those big numbers he put up last Sunday, the most impressive number was 0. No INTs, No Fumbles. Especially with getting sacked so many times.
  21. Their work isnt much better. Just more words.
  22. "The Two Bills" is a great 30 for 30 which has Parcells and Belichick sit down and reminisce through the old days. Couple of tough/ornery SOBs, that's for sure.
