  1. It's all internet rumors as far as I know, but word is it was mounting pressure from ownership to start Tua that caused the decision. We all know how that plays out!
  2. I think every year there are only maybe 2-4 teams that can be labeled "Top Tier". We certainly arent there right now. But we are on track to get there, and much closer than we ever have been over the last 25 years. I'd put us right below that Top Tier cutoff. I like that we are being built to be a perennial winner. Maybe not always the best team in the league, but always a shoe-in for the playoffs. And then anything can happen from there.
  3. Tua should never have been made the starter to begin with. I almost feel sorry for him, but happy to see the Fish screwing up their new QB of the future.
  4. If season ended today, here is where we are. I'd take this scenario every time.
  5. Steve Christie and the Bigfoot special at Little Cesar's
  6. She attacked the Georgia GOP leadership in the middle of a Senate runoff campaign that will have huge consequences. Mitch and the rest of the GOP leadership are happy to let Trump have his little tantrum as it keeps his base riled and energized, but the moment it crossed the line they stepped in and told him to reel it back.
  7. But they havent. Not once. They've had numerous opportunities in multiple courts across several states. They've had demands by judges to show them something. Anything! And every single time, they have nothing. I'm all for keeping elections secure and honest, and keeping a skeptical eye on them to make sure they are fair for everyone. Our systems definitely need to be improved (which plenty of Bills have been passed on, but have been blocked by Republicans in the Senate every time). But Trump and his team have nothing. There was no widespread fraud. They are just being sore losers and running out the clock. He knows this. Publicly, he/his team talk this big game, but privately he is already planning his life after office. It's done. Time to move onward and upward.
  8. They are starting to figure it out. The wheels are falling off. And some are even starting to eat their own. Truly delicious. Some great comments and moments of realizations from the Conservative subreddit. At least some are starting to see the truth and reality.
  9. I'm not sure this correlation equals causation. It definitely helps to have experienced players in the game, but Dane Jackson has looked about as good as Wallace.
  10. Fully agree. That's why I left it as "we'll see".
  11. Happy Birthday, Guff!
  12. Happy Birthday NG!!!
  13. Good question... I'd say for the period of 2000-2020 today, it hasn't been as good of a product as it was in the 80s-90s. Now, is that because it just "coincidentally" lines up to when the Bills were good vs a 20 year drought? Maybe. But IMO, it was a lesser product because it was a boring league. There were 2 dominant QBs (Manning & Brady), and no one else really had much of a shot. It's also a copy-cat league, so everyone was trying to recreate what they were doing, but didnt have the QB talent to pull it off. Everyone ran the same offense, against the same defense. So predictable and boring. Throughout this time, I became a much bigger fan of College ball, where you have far more variety in schemes and therefore the games and storylines are more entertaining. I had often said "If Buffalo loses the Bills, I probably won't ever watch an NFL game again", with plans to just become a fan of College football only. No sour grapes or bitterness, just that no other team or storyline in the NFL interests me. That is mostly still true. It is difficult for me to really watch and get into any NFL game the Bills arent playing in. All that said... The recent injection of young, fresh, DIFFERENT Quarterback talent has drawn me back in. So in that aspect, thanks to the new class of QBs and the retiring out of the old guard, I'd say the NFL is on the right track to improving.
  14. He looked good in the limited time he's played this season. Or at least good enough to get a shot. At this point, I'd have no problem going with a Yeldon/Moss backfield.
  15. No. That was not aimed at you directly and personally, but rather the representative of the Republican party asking to be listened to. I've tried listening to them since you couldnt escape their in-your-face methods for the last 4 years even if I wanted to. I havent heard any semblance of reasonable policies, ideas, or governorship. No real ideals or ethos, other than TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP! CRY ABOUT IT! and fear-mongering and ignorance about their fellow Americans. No ideas on how to fix any of the problems our country faces. Just who to blame it all on. I really have no want or need to listen to any more of it. If they come up with anything of substance and reason, I'd look forward to it. But the Dems taking back the Presidency isnt a sign the People want the Dems to listen to Republicans. It's a sign the People want Republicans, who have been in complete control the last 4 years, to start listening to the Dems.
  16. Or, you know, PERSONALLY CALLING the canvassers after they certify the votes to get them to change their minds. Totally normal. Not at all election interference, intimidation, or sedition. Every President should personally call poll workers with threats/bribes. As folks like to say here, "that's the new normal".
  17. You guys cant be serious with this, right? When has it ever once occurred the other way? When have you or any Republican ever accepted they were wrong? Or even accepted that someone else may have a different life perspective? When you are denying gay rights? When you are tearing children away from their families for simply wanting a better life? When you are yelling "ALL Lives Matter" and "He was no angel" in response to folks protesting en masse because police are murdering people? But now the Presidency has flipped and all of a sudden you want to be "listened to". We heard enough the last 4 years while they were "owning libs". I know exactly where they are coming from.
  18. Four? We havent seen civility since Newt started it in 1996, and it only ramped up when the black guy got into office. Your memory cant be failing that badly.
  19. Was all set to vote, but then I tried to submit my choices... Not creating an account. Oh well.
  20. I think he'll need to stay slim in order to ever become a pass rusher like Schobel. If he bulks back up, that puts him back into the Kelsay/Lawson category. I dunno. I go back and forth on this kid. Not making any concrete judgements until we get to a better year next year.
  21. I see his ceiling be more along Shaq Lawson than Aaron Schobel. Schobel was unsung outside of Buffalo, but a dominant pass rusher for almost a decade. Nto sure we'll see that type of production from AJ. Fingers crossed tho.
  22. I'm giving him a big pass on this season with the lack of rookie OTAs, the shortened offseason, etc with COVID. Hope to see much more from him next year.
  23. I was about to get all incredulous about Jimmy G, but looking at his contract, the 9ers can move on from him next year for only $2M dead cap. Interesting.
  24. Correct. It would be a nice surprise, but I dont think he'll ever be "dominant" at anything. Shaq was a 1st rounder who started for powerhouse Clemson. Epenesa is a late 2nd rounder from a smaller Big 10 program. AJ is more akin to Chris Kelsay (2nd rounder, Nebraska) than anyone else we've had around.
