  1. Very good point, but I'd rather have Harris over another Epenesa.
  2. Not at all, but it's definitely a red flag on your GM resume. haha
  3. Except we arent picking 9th overall. Or even in the top half. We're picking 30th over. A couple of picks from the 2nd round. Bills fans need to make a major shift and get used to what life is like picking at the end of the rounds. It's a different world. But that doesnt mean you get to stray off of BPA too far just to pick by player position. Too much reaching for need will kill a team. Look at Belichick's draft record picking late. Lot of interior OL busts when he was desperate for OL, but Sony Michel was a great pick there at 31.
  4. It's BPA at a position that could use an upgrade. We ran fine during the year when Moss was around, but once he went down we had nothing. Get some better talent there at a good value spot in the draft.
  5. So you'd rather reach for the 4th or 5th best edge, LB, or CB instead of picking the BPA and one of the top RBs? Dont get me wrong, I'd love to be able to fill a defensive hole there. But it's not like our RBs are set at all either, and we have a shot at one of the best in the draft.
  6. All good. It's the offseason for all of us Plus, I dont blame anyone for not wanting to go back into that Watson thread or whatever it's become...
  7. Kiper's Mock had Buffalo taking Harris at #30 as well. I'm for it.
  8. I'd like to keep him. Seems to have good chemistry with the team, and seems under-utilized for what he is capable of doing. I'd keep him over Brown.
  9. This thread is about Russell Wilson. 🤷‍♂️
  10. I never said he's a GOOD President. Just good enough that an owner trusts him to do the job.
  11. I'll use John Elway as an example here. When he was coming into the league, he saw he was about to be drafted into a poorly managed franchise, and played what little cards he had to try to control his destiny. Even though it was well established that rookies "go where they are drafted" and should never question it, and just be happy they are getting a chance in the league. And now he's actually a President running a franchise. So when folks up-thread ask why these guys think they are qualified to participate in decision making, there you go.
  12. Splitting hairs here, and we are in agreement, but I'd call the Head Coach the CEO, and the QB the President. But love the analogy.
  13. When an employee is: making 20-25% of the entire payroll higher paid than the Head Coach and GM (combined in some cases) the face of the franchise the largest contributor to the success of the team, touching the ball every offensive play Why shouldnt they get a say? Are they really not running the franchise at all when they are so responsible for the team's on-field performance?
  14. Im on the first page. YOU jumped in late 🤣🤣👍✌️ Seems like youre making up an argument to justify hypocrisy but ok. Yes, he has requested a trade. Tough to work out with the existing extension numbers.
  15. So if a player sucks its ok for him to want to be moved, but if he is good then it isnt allowed?
  16. Much like Groundhogs Day every Feb, TBD celebrates an annual tradition to kick off the offseason by letting @BADOLBILZ out of his hole and counting the emojis. More than 10 means we're drafting another CB in the 1st round again.
  17. Whereas all your Pegula reporting in this thread is spot on because you were on the yacht to witness it. 🤣
  18. Speaking of Atlanta... Torche
  19. Bonus plug for the best local (Atlanta) band that no one has heard of, but who have managed to open for bands like Them Crooked Vultures while refusing to tour or barely play shows... All The Saints
  20. Starting to circle back on this, but "good music over the last 21 years" is a pretty large window. So I'll try to narrow it down a bit to some select choices, mostly off the top of my head, certainly not comprehensive. I'm sure I'll think of others to add later too. Since you mentioned Kyuss, on the more sludgy, stoner metal side... The Sword Truckfighters Baroness Thinking about Jack White and QOTSA... Band of Skulls And then some good ol experimental stuff... The Mars Volta is a classic at this point. Here's the first album in a playlist. Battles popped and unfortunately quickly fizzled in 2003, but left us with some good work. Will think of more for later...
  21. Sign and draft better players. Doi. The details are for him to worry about, and why he gets paid the big bucks. He went against my offseason plan from last March, and that didnt work out too well, so hopefully he's learned his lesson. He knows how to find me if he needs advice.
  22. Easier, but far less effective overall. If all you are looking for is easy, then go for it. I hope Beane is smarter than that tho.
