  1. This is an old meme, and it's false/wrong. OJ didnt meet Nicole in Buffalo. Nicole Brown, the California blonde hottie, never stepped foot in Buffalo. OJ was married to his first wife, Marguerite Whitley, while in Buffalo. OJ met Nicole Brown in 1977, after he left the Bills for the 49ers, when she was eighteen years old and working as a waitress at a Beverly Hills private club called The Daisy. The Bills have no part in the Kardashians. That is ALL on California and the weirdos who live there.
  2. And for a lawyer, he uses the phrase "while at the same time they could care less who the mayor or president will be!" Anyone with half a brain, making public statements, would get it right.
  3. So, the one downfall of closing the original thread is that we lost out on this great post by @Bill from NYC Even though I'm in the camp that finds this whole thing sketchy, due to the situation Watson is in vs McNair, and McNair's relationship with this lawyer, and the scumminess that this windbag lawyer exudes with every social media post he types, and the fact that Watson has never had issues before, and the circumstances of all of these allegations are conveniently he said/she said.... I agree with Bill. We must take the accuser seriously. AND trust the legal process to sort out the truth.
  4. Well this is no fun. I was really looking forward to a last minute team meltdown to get under. Just goes to show, the cap isn't as difficult or as big of a deal as us fans make it out to be. I'm sure there are lots of people in each Org working hard to get their numbers right, but it always seems that even the teams in the most dire situations make it under without much issue. Womp.
  5. Not be Nathan Peterman.
  6. I'm more surprised they havent been tweeted about by the media tho. The Bears had some big moves to make to drop $20M. Although they did restructure Mack this week to save about $10M, and I'm not sure that was counted in spotrac's $20M figure.
  7. So it's 4:40pm. What have these teams done to get under cap?
  8. Ah, true, true. That is a 2021 roster bonus. Good call. Nevermind. Well then... BEANE'S ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL!
  9. Aren't there cash implications there tho? I know the Bills and Pegulas arent hurting for money, but if you make everything a signing bonus, you need to pay it immediately. Even if you get to amortize it over the contract in Accounting. And even with Terry's deep pockets, theres still only so much cash to throw around. And for the Bills right now, with Josh so young, our window is 10 more years. Not 3-5 where you might be able to eat it at the same time your star QB retires and say "🤷‍♂️ oops, bad year, lets tank and reset next year". These guys are planning for 10 years out.
  10. That's a bummer. Marlon has lived in my parents neighborhood since his playing days. Great family, great neighbors. I hope they're able to stick around.
  11. Yep, check my edit. Yesterday was still unofficial. Cardinals called overnight, and they pulled it off last minute.
  12. Traded for Hudson? I thought he was straight up released? edit: Ah, I see they pulled off a last minute trade before the release became official today.
  13. It's no Murray/Whaley pic, but at least Kruger is enjoying his first day off. I'm sure he's relieved to be out of there. Enjoying the day on the Elmwood strip
  14. For what it is worth, the Bears just restructured Mack like 2 days ago and shaved about $10M off his cap hit this year. Doubt they move him. Although maybe they did it to make it easier to move him?
  15. I always love it. Even if it most likely means nothing. I find it hilarious/intriguing what we can do with the internet nowdays.
  16. Absolutely. This is the best, and most relevant, part of this news. Chiefs released both OTs, then missed on Williams. Buffalo re-signed both of their starting OTs. Win for the Bills.
  17. My immediate first thought, and exactly what this feels like. Especially after reading that entire "announcement" which was a lot of blabber about the lawyer and his family, with no substance.
  18. That's the contract of a guy who has been itching to hit the market for 3 years. Big emphasis on "No Franchise Tag Clause".
  19. Wait. Players get paid out of Revenue Sharing that gets doled out by the League Office. HowTF could the Raiders say they don't have the money to pay guys? It isn't their money?
  20. lol, Bears. $20M over, only 53 players on roster. Who do they even cut? And they suck.
  21. It only took 10 years but @Estro and I would finally be vindicated with this signing. Was banging the table to take him in 2011 when he was still available in the 3rd (which is still unbelievable). However, I think we're too late on this now. Don't need another 32 year old DE.
  22. I hope Beane is showing interest in everyone the Pats are after and running up the price!
  23. Congrats on not posting screen shots anymore.
