  1. Then he at least felt heard and that he had a chance to contribute. There is a great concept in business (and even personal) communication called "Disagree and Commit". Both/All sides get to say their piece and then the person in charge makes the final decision. And if it doesnt go your way, you at least know you were heard and considered, and you will commit to whatever that final decision is. I think that is all Deshaun wanted after Ownership said they would. But they didnt even give hm the chance. That is incredibly insulting and demeaning to anyone, regardless of their place in the chain. To tell them you'll listen to them and then ignore them. Would have been better off not looping him in at all. The other rub is, it is being reported Houston Ownership hired a consulting firm like the Pegulas did, were handed a list of candidates, and then ignored THAT list as well. Not a good look. I wouldnt be happy working for people like that either.
  2. Pretty sure they just use the MVP from the previous year, right?
  3. I DO expect Watt to be moved soon. And definitely before Watson.
  4. The Jets sending Darnold and both of their 1sts (#2 and #25ish) could maybe get it done. That gives Houston's new GM some picks to work with. Could take Smith #2 to give Darnold some weapons, or even trade back a bit with a team who is hot for Fields and stack more picks. Fun exercise even if it unlikely to happen.
  5. Were you the highest paid employee and face of the company, directly responsible for the product they put out?
  6. Where did the new Texans GM come from?
  7. lol I like Cole as a WR, but everything this dude does off the field is so cringe-inducing. And yes, it's real. Here is his Spotify page...
  8. The Georgia runoff is over. Dems kicked ass. /thread
  9. I could see the Falcons trading for him. They need a new, young QB. And Watson is from here.
  10. I said 50% chance. New regime coming in, and while Watson would probably be the one piece I'd want to keep (Watt would be the first player I traded away), I could see a new GM moving both of them in order to re-stock picks and do a complete rebuild. Even though this is unlikely. I'm still playing along because, hey, it's the NFL, and both Watson and Watt are extremely unhappy in Houston. What about Denver? They need to do something drastic to keep competing in that division with Mahomes, and now Herbert. Will have a new GM coming in.
  11. The other great part of this that the players may not even realize: That hook in "You Cant Touch This" was written by Rick James, a guy from BUFFALO!
  12. This may be my favorite Bills team of all time.
  13. I mean, we just won 6 in a row. What's 4 more?
  14. I'm almost worried this will be a detriment. Josh has said that he switched his warm up music from pump-up music to more chill stuff like Frank Sinatra because he found he was starting games way to pumped up and excited. Thinking the crowd may have a bit of that same affect on the Bills. Not really worried, just "almost" worried.
  15. He was happy to threaten the BLM protesters in Portland with it. I guarantee he feels differently about today. Weird.
  16. Not too surpised. RATM told me all the way back in '92 "Some of those who run forces, are the same that burn crosses". I'm sure there were more than a few police officers happy to see it happen today. All traitors.
  17. So rubber bullets and tear gas for BLM protesters (and media members) who were merely standing around, but these chuckle-fuks get hugs and kisses all the way to the chamber? America: White is Right
  18. Who TF are you? Dont quote me. Go eat some more bull balls.
  19. Basic addition and subtraction may be too big of an ask here.
  20. I feel like this clip, and the others from this season where Josh calls his own play/audibles at the line, show that Josh is all grown up now and if we lose Daboll, he will be just fine.
  21. I believe this now guarantees him as the #3 pick to the Dolphins to reunite with Tua. Which also means I look forward to him joining the Bills roster in 2-3 years when a new regime gets hired in Miami and they blow it all up.
