  1. Yeah thats more like it.
  2. Sign a RB who knows how to find and hit holes? Instead of going head down into the pile (like Moss and Yeldon and Singletary all do)
  3. I dunno, man. No real reasoning other than wanting to mention Ramczyk's name in this discussion. Never know what happens. Maybe Williams signs somewhere else quickly while the higher priced Ramczyk stays on the market and has a deal fall through. Stuff happens.
  4. Hilton is already 31, will be 32 next season. I dont see that speed holding up. Need to go younger to keep up (or even get ahead) of the top speed in the league. If I'm set on replacing Brown, I'm looking at Waddle or the like, in the draft.
  5. Yep, Im assuming we lose Williams and Nyseke is gone, so there goes both our RTs and all our OT depth.
  6. I'll throw Ryan Ramczyk's name out there for discussion.
  7. That is for Beane and Overdorf to worry about. The Saints are $100M over cap for next year, same as every year, but they figure it out. Not for the fans to worry about.
  8. After 25 years of "living for the draft", the stupid Bills have really ruined it for me with ALL THIS WINNING! How am I supposed to enjoy mock drafts when it's nearly impossible to tell who will still be available so late in the 1st round? Stupid, sexy, winning Bills. 😤
  9. I'll give Epenesa a pass for now, but agree that Dobbins would have been the right pick there. Almost seems like Beane either panicked or was frustrated due to losing "his guy" (Dugger) to the Pats, and just made a hasty pick.
  10. It sucked Sunday night, but I was surprised how quickly I got over it. We made my preseason expectations/demands of: 1. Win the Division 2. Win a playoff game Anything past that was gravy. It sucks to lose, but I also think it was the next lesson this team needed to learn. I'll reference this: 1983 - Draft Jim Kelly. 1986 - He actually starts playing for us. 1988 - Bills go to AFC Championship and lose against Bengals 1989 - Ronnie Harmon drop, lose to Cleveland in Div round of playoffs 1990 - Dominate for 4 straight years I certainly hope we dont have any "Ronnie Harmon"-type early exits next year. But I do think we are setup to be successful and in the dance for years to come.
  11. I dont want to pay EITHER of those LBs $14M/yr. I'd pick up Edmunds 5th year option to give him some time to prove it, and us some time to replace him. I'm not paying Milano. I know he is "our best LB", but that isnt saying much. For someone who is supposed to be some great coverage LB, we get destroyed by TEs. Plus he is still a liability in open field tackling. I'm drafting Milano's replacement this year, and looking for Edmunds replacement in 2 the 2022 draft.
  12. Yeah, tough when we are paying Quinton Jefferson almsot $7M a year and Phillips got $10M. Would've been worth it. A younger, more fiery DC might help a bit. But we aren't changing much in the scheme. That is McDermott's scheme. It will likely never change that much.
  13. I'm high on Harris. Low on Etienne (think he is over-used already). Part of me would love to see Harris make it to #30 for us. But another part of me thinks "Just keep picking RBs in the 3rd until you hit on one". There are too many successful late round and even UDFA RBs to use a 1st rounder on RB. I just dont think the value is there.
  14. Yep, I've mentioned him and Lawson regarding losing their attitudes on D. I thought Feliciano was "that dude" on the OL, but he got punked Sunday. Ford can be nasty too, so missing him probably hurt. But definitely need more guys who play on the edge. Bring me those Brandon Spikes/Richie Incognito types.
  15. I think Physicality was the biggest factor. And most surprising. San Fran came out and tried to bully us, and we came back even harder and bullied them. Same with NE and a couple other teams. That's why it was so surprising to see us look so weak and timid and soft and flat against KC. We were missing an edge, big time.
  16. Not really BS, imo. Go back to 2013 and do the same draft/FA analysis for the Chiefs. No one is perfect, and everyone has misses. A lot of impact players we DID bring in that you left off your list.
  17. It's not something I say. I was just checking on Mofo's research and plan since he sounded pretty serious...
  18. Yes, but that isnt that big of a guarantee. Just guarantee the rest of the contract. It doesnt change our financials, isnt that big of a hit if something were to happen, and it gives him security into the future if there is a freak accident in camp or something (watch those rubber mats!).
  19. Yeah, I just looked up the video and you are right. He was engaged with Morse, but ends up hitting Feliciano and knocking him down. Sad either way.
  20. They came out hyped and ready to BULLY the Bills at every position. You had a Chiefs DL drop Morse with a punch to the jaw, and no one did anything. The second I saw Sorensen, of all people, do some stupid "stake in the ground/not in my house" dance in Diggs face, I knew the game was over. And that was on our second possession. KC was amped and hyped to an AFC Championship level. We were flat, soft, and "respectful". That's the difference in experience in being there before. The refs let you "play". We'll be ready next time.
  21. He gets paid plenty already. AND the Bills already moved money up for him this year, so he made more than originally planned. However, he has no guaranteed money left. I think if Beane were to simply guarantee the rest of his contract, it would go a long way and he'd be happy. That way, Diggs is secure and happy, and it doesnt cost us anything more.
  22. I'll take your word for it. I know there were a few posters who were banging that DK drum. Especially because, like vegans and crossfit people, they never shut up about it. 🤣
  23. Right, Im not talking about making insane, 100% hindsight reaches based on information no one could've had. Considering Metcalf didnt go until pick #64, he is not an option to replace the Oliver #9 overall pick. I'm talking DL at the top of the 1st round. Or even through the entire 1st round.
  24. I'd pick up the 5th year option on Edmunds but he is on a short leash and needs a dramatic improvement to get a 2nd contract. I get that McD's soft scheme has him playing deep off the ball, and he'll never be a "thumper", but as @Coach Tuesday points out, I dont see him make plays in coverage either. Oliver... tough call. Definitely been underwhelming. Will be interested to see how he does with Star back next year (and hopefully another real 1-Tech on the roster as well). He was the right pick in 2019, looking at the other players taken after him. But that aint saying much, and it isnt translating to an NFL career so far.
  25. Considering that having the teams out on the field for the national anthem only started as recently as 2002 (When the DoD sunk a ton of cash into advertising with the NFL), this should not be a big deal. None of the previous Bills Super Bowl era teams were on the field for the national anthem, because back then NO teams were out for the national anthem. They should go back to that structure. Or just not do the national anthem at all since it has zero relevancy at all at sporting events, other than to serve as a warning for people still tailgating or in the concession line that the game will be starting soon.
