  1. If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. We arent talking about some fictional player from another team. We're talking about Jerry Hughes who has been busting his butt since his first day in a Bills uniform. Who rightfully butted heads with Marrone, who put up with the Rex Ryan days, and who has managed to stick around long enough to get to be part of the Bills resurgence. If we had a better way to spend the money lined up as a sure thing, then absolutely, it should be considered. But if it isn't pressing, Jerry has earned the right to keep all the money he has coming to him. And from the amount of moves Beane has been able to pull off in FA even without Jerry taking a paycut, then it doesnt seem like it is pressing. Or that even Beane cares about it.
  2. My wife's original appt was for the J&J single-dose, but she re-scheduled until she found the two-dose available. She wanted the additional efficacy. I believe it's 70% for J&J and 95% for the two-dose.
  3. Same. There are already a handful of states that are fully open. Anyone and everyone over 16 qualifies. Then you have places that have "restrictions" but the guidelines open it up to pretty much everyone. Take here in GA for example. They recently opened it up to "Obesity", but they define obesity as anyone with a BMI of 26 or above. That is pretty much the entire population. Additionally, at this point, any of the essential/front line/first response type workers, teachers, etc have had ample opportunity to get their shots. In discussing with not only our GP, but also a number of friends and family in the healthcare industry, ALL of them advised to "just go get one". The goal at this point is to get to that 60%-70%+ vaccination rate anyway possible, as QUICKLY as possible. Edit: 2 hours after I made this post our Gov just announced GA is open to everyone 16+ as of Thursday. LETS GOOOO!
  4. Thanks for the info. I'm aware that all this stuff is truly a racket to favor the big guys. The good news is, I just checked the IPO calendar for stocks that hit the market today, and their current retail price versus the IPO price is pretty close. Most are available for me to purchase within $2 of their original IPO price. One of them has even gone DOWN since it opened. So it doesnt look like we are too far on the outside. And if I can get in within $1-5 of the original price, I'll be happy as an outsider.
  5. That's awesome. I have a great-uncle who, in a case of more luck than brains, went along with his buddy's suggestion to get in on M&T Bank when they IPO'ed in 1980. While all his siblings were in investments and real estate, he wasnt much of an investor and got into this on a lark just to test the waters. It is unbelievable what that one has done over the years. With one stock, he has out-performed everyone in the family, and his kids/grandkids are set well after his passing.
  6. Thanks dude. That (unfortunately) makes sense and lines up with what I was able to dig up as well. I guess I need to find a real live Stock Broker at one of the larger players and try to leverage that? I know I won't be able to get in at the original IPO price. But would like to be as early and low as possible.
  7. If we trade up, it better be for someone on one of the Lines. With that said, I'd go with either of the Edge Rushers. Not sure which of those two I like better, so I'll leave that to Beane.
  8. I'd rather have Najee Harris over any of those 3. But from that small group, I'd go with Etienne.
  9. Semi Off Topic Question: As someone who is very amateur when it comes to Stocks, how do I get the best jump on an IPO? From what I DO know (or at least think I know), when an IPO hits a stock comes out at it's IPO price. Let's use $20 for this example. But by the time my lowly amateur, retail account can by any, it has already jumped up to $50. (I think) How can I get better access to the original IPO price? Also, are there any good tools/sources for tracking IPOs to know when one is coming? (I have a specific one in mind, but no idea when it will open)
  10. Wives will typically rip a fart and tell you, "There is your gas, smart guy"
  11. Roger has said they are going to have a big, in-person draft. I've been a stickler for COVID protocols over the past year, but if vaccinations keep going like they are, they should be able to have people there without issue by May. Just keep getting your shots, folks! EDIT: NFL plans “large, live, in-person” draft in Cleveland https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/SB-Blogs/Breaking-News/2021/03/NFL-Draft.aspx
  12. The Kroger I went to was pretty strict on making people wait. But that was mostly because they were giving the J&J one-dose which is a more potent shot and has a higher rate of reaction. And when I say "strict" they were plenty nice about it, but they did make it clear that I needed to stay in the waiting room until they told me I could leave. And they timed it at 15min exactly.
  13. Got the J&J one-shot this past Sunday. Had a bad "hang over" on Monday, but feeling better than ever now, and ready to get back to life.
  14. Eeeeasy there tiger, it's 2021!
  15. We should have seen this coming. Trubisky went to the University of North CAROLINA Beane keeps the Carolina pipeline alive!
  16. Jameis Winston played for $1M last year. High drafted busts go to cheap redemption contracts. Division for sure. Real question: Is there a better duo in the Conference? League?
  17. You just described Ken Dorsey's job.
  18. It has been a concern of mine as well, as I believe we have been lucky and biding our time before Josh gets dinged. This is a huge relief.
  19. Do you think after everything he has been through, and seeing Josh lead this team to the AFC Champ last year, he is so naive to not understand the situation he just signed into?
  20. You have the ability to mute him. Im JUST SAYIN...
  21. "Eff it, make teams score 60 to beat us" -Beane, probably
