  1. Scott, youre better than this. You are completely missing a huge part of what is happening with Beasley.
  2. Dude, are you not reading/understanding the issue here? No one cares that he isnt vaccinated. But if you CHOOSE to not get vaccinated then you have to follow the protocols as agreed upon by the NFLPA. And he is saying he WILL NOT follow those protocols either. You dont get to have everything your way with no consequences. THAT is being a baby.
  3. If we cut him outright, we save $4M on the cap this year.
  4. No one is surprised the there are plenty of ignorant, spoiled, selfish, man-children in the NFL. It's probably good we get this reminder since we've been having a bit too much of a lovefest with the players lately.
  5. Rachel, I'm a Bills fan, not a players fan. I was a fan of the team before your husband joined, and I'll be a fan of the team long after he is gone.
  6. Go back and read the first line of the post you quoted, then read your response.
  7. This isnt the NFL's protocol. It's the protocol agreed to by the NFLPA.
  8. Fearmongering? Did you not see what happened last season with reschedules and players having to sit out? Grow up.
  9. This is already easily "behavior detrimental to the team/shield"
  10. You do understand the NFL already greatly controls players actions outside of the facility, right?
  11. They arent forcing vaccines. They are allowing the choice. But each choice has consequences. Get the vaccine and risk whatever perceived safety/health risks might come from it. Or dont get the vaccine, and follow these protocols. Cant have a decision with no consequences. That's not how adult life works.
  12. No we arent. He'd be great to have, and I wish/hope we do. But if he is going to refuse to follow protocol, then AT BEST, he spends part of the season suspended. And AT WORST, he brings a COVID varient into the locker room and kills our season. As good as he was, he isnt worth that risk.
  13. “I’m not going to take meds for a leg that isn’t broken” I guarantee if there was medication to prevent broken legs he would take it in an instant.
  14. You arent understanding what he is saying here. This is beyond his choice to not get vaccinated. No one cared about that.
  15. I actually thought this last night too. I can only imagine the crap that we would have seen if that team in 1988 had social media accounts.
  16. LOOOOOOOL Beasley saying if he infects other people, it's God's Will.
  17. We assume it with you, but dont need the visual. Thanks.
  18. At last report , the Bills were one of the teams over 50% and climbing every day. Only a handful of teams are under that 50% mark (Jags, Colts, Chargers) He said STANDS for principals. That's why he doesnt have a problem with this.
  19. Did that come with a classic Elaine Benes shove?
  20. He's rallying AGAINST the Player's Union right now. So why would they back him up?
  21. "We respect each player's decision on the vaccination is their own, and while we continue to educate our players and hope they decide to get the vaccine, we know we have a number of players who will not, and are totally fine with that as they are still on the team. However, we also made a decision as a team to not speak out about it or let it become a distraction, and Cole was unable to follow that. Nor would he agree to follow the protocols agreed to by the NFL and NFLPA. We provided him plenty of ways and opportunities to contact his union reps and work with the NFLPA, but he was unwilling to do so. So we made the decision to move on since we are trying to stay unified as a team, and move forward into a re-opened 2021." -Brandon Beane Boom, cut. But if he's willing to retire over it all, than problem solved.
  22. Ugh, big mistake. Although this "leak" could simply be a shot across the bow for negotiating with the city.
