  1. We've already been resting guys the last 2 games. Of course we will rest guys the next 2 as well. Now, what remains to be seen is WHO and to what extent. If Chiefs beat the Steelers this week, then we rest guys the next 2 weeks, and maybe Josh doesnt play at all week 18. Not real happy with his elbow contusion on his throwing arm at this point. Being healthy in the playoffs is more important than winning games right now.
  2. This is the most important part for me. For years, I wondered why we couldnt find a guy who had the threat to take it to the house every play, and often would. I thought maybe that just wasnt part of the NFL anymore. It's so awesome to have a RB who, if he can get to the 2nd level clean, has a good chance of taking it all the way to the end zone. Total game changer. I'll also add that Cook has been a LOT more physical this season. Even running OVER guys a couple times. That is new this year, as previously the big criticism was if you get a hand on him he would go down. I think he's one of the few RBs who has earned himself a second contract. Maybe a 3 year extension.
  3. He's the next Tua of the AFC East. Will be just good enough that the Pats will be forced to give him a big contract, yet we'll never lose a game to him (except maybe week 18 when we arent trying).
  4. I do not look forward to seeing more of Elam and Spector these last 2 games, but I'll take it over potentially injuring one of our starters and having to see them play in the playoffs.
  5. Sometimes. But he played much better at the line and blitzing.
  6. I've mentioned this a few times, but I fully believe Terry and the Marketing department are waiting until after we win a Super Bowl with Josh. Then they'll break out the 90s throwbacks the next season. Imagine the home opener after winning a SB, and Josh and the boys come out in the 90s uniforms for the banner ceremony, and all the old 90s Bills are on the field with them. Highmark would be nuts.
  7. Well, that's because it mostly turned when Cook came in. But the Defense definitely improved when Williams came in for Spector.
  8. Love it. Also gotta say, at 6'8" 315lbs, with that neck role and visor... total bad ass.
  9. Most of this board lit up Ken Dorsey for his outburst of emotion after the Miami game, and how it was horrible leadership and how he likely lost the team by showing he cant keep it together. Same thing, but even more so here. Has little/nothing to do with it being crying. Any uncontrollable emotional state is a bad look. Same thing if he had been angry and unable to get past it.
  10. My dude, we have a front row seat to the Jets. And Buffalo isnt far from Cleveland. The proof is right under our nose.
  11. He's certainly better than McCorkle, but if this is what we have to worry about, compared to Josh/Mahomes/Burrow/Jackson, I'm fine with it. I look forward to the Pats ending up in a Tua-like situation in 4 years and hamstringing their franchise.
  12. This game reminded me of the last 2 season where we won a bunch but none of it was fun. This year has been so much fun. I can handle a game like today since our regular season is essentially over and it's just about getting to the playoffs healthy. With 1:50 left and up by 2 scores, I was cheering for Elam and the DBs to just take PI on every play until they ran out the clock.
  13. My take: The penalties at the end of the game were so ridiculous, I was actually cheering for Elam and the DBs to just PI every play until they ran out all 1:50 left on the clock on 1st and Goals.
  14. Nah, it's because we had the lead. Cook wasnt playing in the beginning and I dont think we planned to use him much. Until it we were playing from a 2-score deficit and needed a jump start. So we sent Cook in to do his thing, he cooked, and then once we had the game back in control he went back to the bench. Just like we were doing on defense.
  15. "Broken" can mean a lot of things and I think a lot of us assumed there was something "fractured" in that hand. Could just be a hairline. Seems about right.
  16. I feel like a dick agreeing with OP, yet here I am agreeing with OP. And others saying he needs to be the glue the team is built on. I'm a wuss. I cry at weddings, I cry at movies. Heck, Ive even cried at commercials. But those are tears of joy/happiness/pride/love. I do not cry at work when the going gets tough. Especially when we are in the middle of a meeting, let alone a competitive game. Vulnerability is ok, but these guys are being paid a lot of money to not be vulnerable. I dunno. It's a complicated situation. I understand him, but dont think it's a good showing for someone in a leadership position. Being upset is one thing. Being inconsolable in the middle of your job is another.
  17. Punk kid owners son handing out game balls before coach could even speak. Players behind him dont look amused.
  18. Those arent names for b0ners tho. Maybe Stiffy Johnson next?
  19. Side note: Woody. Johnson. Brick. Johnson. Is this entire family all ***** jokes? Did Brick name his son Chubby?
  20. I dont think Ive ever seen a complaint about the Pegulas when it comes to the Bills.
  21. I think the Jets have proven (multiple times now) that isnt completely true. Which is crazy because you should be right.
  22. Good news. He's currently in year 0 of a 4 year extension that starts next year
  23. Well put. My hatred for the Dolphins was ingrained by my father from the 70s (and the fun rivalry with the Marino Dolphins of the 80s/90s helped solidify it). And I too, will pass down the generational hatred for the Pats to my children.
  24. Yes, because at least with the Chiefs, we are good and have a Josh and it's a real rivalry. With the Pats, it was just getting pummeled over and over. The bully would show up, we'd warn him that "we've been taking karate and THIS time it will be different!", and then they'd just give us a wedgie and push our head in the toilet for a swirly. The hammer never considers the nail a rival. There was NO part in 20 years where dealing with the Pats was fun (except for the 2 times we beat them, which is not enough). Plus they're a division rival. I dont hate them as much as I used to, because now it's like we've all graduated and that same bully is stuck pumping gas in our home town while we own a tech company and have married a super model. But I still hate them more than the Chiefs. I hate our entire Division more than the Chiefs or any other team.
  25. Not only that but Dawkins is all over the field, crushing people on runs. He's pulling and leading Josh untouched to the end zone. He's getting downfield after Shakir catches the ball and somehow gets ahead of him and clears the way.
