  1. We scored a TD on 4th and 1 last night so... 🤷‍♂️
  2. That was good. Eli is a funny dude. That little brother complex. "How much you bench?... You first." 🤣
  3. It was my least favorite play of his all night. Bad form, and bad idea. As a DL, he needs to be wrapping up and tackling through the player. Especially when playing Derrick Henry. I hate that DBs all try to do that human-missile garbage now, and I hate it even more from DLs.
  4. Well, that approach only won the Pats like 6 Super Bowls so it's tough to argue against. But I agree we need to bring in some youth to the interior. Specifically, Center.
  5. As a long time detractor, I'll give him some credit where it is due. He had a slow start last night, getting blown up and ran right over twice in the 1st quarter. But the entire team had a slow start, and like the team he was able to turn it around and actually make some plays when called upon. Finally. Good job finally showing the flashes a lot of us have been looking for over the past 5 years. We need big plays from that MLB spot and he's finally delivering. I'm torn on the Jackson injury. On one hand, in general I dont think it's fair to blame a player when they cause an injury with friendly fire. On the other hand, he plays with such a lack of instinct, being late on that tackle and having bad form is tough to simply overlook. But I'm sure he feels horrible about it, and I'm not going to blast him on it.
  6. Which makes sense. McD said he told the team to calm down. They were too hyped and all pressing too hard to make a big play at the hyped up home opener instead of playing loose and doing their jobs. I give McD credit for getting the team calmed down and playing better, but as others have noted, some of the coaching miscues were the main issues of the game.
  7. Do we? I'd expect to have one if not both of Oliver and Settle back. We had a bigger interior DL challenge last night and held up fine with those two out. I think we can survive Miami without Phillips. If it is more than a cramp and he needs to rest, then I'd rather rest him a week. I think missing Hyde is the bigger challenge in Miami. Hope it was just a stinger and he'll be back soon.
  8. Last year, AJ Epenesa knocked him out of the season. With the new DL, Von Miller might actually kill him.
  9. From the injury report, it looks like we know Oliver and Settle are out (Oliver the only one confirmed OUT). Jackson and Davis being listed as Questionable makes me think they will dress, but will be limited and only used if absolutely needed. Even if they don't, I'm excited to see what Shakir can do tonight.
  10. Is this thread from 2019? The Disney+ bundle is cheap and has been around for years. Just do that. And ESPN+ is totally worth the money.
  11. Yeah, I was always surprised by how well represented the Bills are in that clip. Without watching again, I know Tre is there.
  12. Haha beat me to it. Classic. "...in"
  13. I havent dug through this whole thread, but are folks talking about those HUGE hits both Mahomes and Herbert were taking while IN THE POCKET? With all these Bills fans concerned about Josh running, last night was another great example of QBs being most vulnerable while in the pocket, not while running. We beat the crap out of Stafford - in the pocket. Mahomes took a couple of big hits (one right under his chin, one into his legs) last night - in the pocket. Herbert got crushed repeatedly, and injured - in the pocket. In the pocket, QBs are sitting ducks and are completely vulnerable. Out running, Josh does the hitting. Put your concerns to bed. LET THE BEAST LOOSE!
  14. I dont know where else to post this, but have to share because the wording of the tweet cracked me up, and then the video absolutely delivers. 🤣
  15. Maybe if he is super bored. But for the amount of money he has already earned, and the size of his family, and being close to his kids, I would doubt he gets into coaching and those time demands, and job insecurity, and pressure. He's smart and would be probably be great at it, but I don't see the need (or even want) from his side. He could probably make just as much commentating somewhere and have none of the pressures and be home a lot more.
  16. "Josh Running" is the new "Tremaine Edmunds".
  17. Right after the game in 2019. In Nashville, was PACKED with Bills fans. More so than even usual. It was a hard fought game. JP had a great game. He and Lawson jawwed Lewan into 1 (maybe 2) bad drive-killing penalties, just ate his lunch all game. Pretty much won the game for us. And then when Lewan took to twitter later that day they didn't let it slide. Love having these dudes back on the team.
  18. Plus getting him and JPhillips back against Lewan is always a good time. I'm not against having Epenesa inactive and rotating Shaq in to be better against a run-heavy team. Could balance out losing Settle. Plus we still have DJones in the middle too.
  19. Not sure he'll have the option. It's likely that Poyer's best path forward (money-wise) will be to win the SB this year, and cash in on that resume highlight in Free Agency. Even if he "earns" a $15M/year deal, I don't think Beane is willing to pay that much, at that position, at his age. And we know he (Rachel) wants to chase that money.
  20. nm? So what part of the headline is wrong or inaccurate?
  21. With it being another 4 years away, I doubt Gordon will ever play Seattle again in his career.
  22. LOL, Melvin, maybe dont fumble on the goal line AGAIN. Maybe worry about your own coach. And the Super Bowl isnt in play for either of you. You dont have to wonder. He absolutely is in over his head. He was in over his head as the floundering OC in SYRACUSE. If anyone ever wonders about why the NFL needs to implement rules that force teams to expand their coaching searches, look no further than the nepotism that has allowed HACKett to fail his way upwards from high school waterboy to NFL Head Coach simply because of his daddy. This dude has done nothing to earn his position, and should have been banished from the league after the Jags stint. If Denver is smart, they'll one-and-done him. Blame it on the new ownership. This chump is not their answer.
  23. It was intrusive, it was a violation... and WE LOVE IT!
  24. Plus, it's a REALLY bad look for a team/fo to stop a career from progressing. When you do that, it makes it tougher to attract top coaches down the line. I think we're setup pretty well for Dorsey's inevitable departure. Joe Brady kinda popped and fizzled already, but I think there was a lot of learning in his success at LSU and not-so-success in Carolina. Continuing to develop him here as QB coach and then promote him once Dorsey leaves. Either way we have a good plan for the next 3-4 years.
  25. I too prefer all our games to be scheduled for Sundays at 1pm since it's easier for me to get out to the Bills bar at that time. However, I will absolutely take this "min-Bye week" we were gifted to start the season. 10 days between week 1 and 2 will be crucial for our deep run in the long season ahead of us. Juxtapose that with KC who just played Sunday and is already getting ready to play in 2 days on Thursday night. I'll look for a link, but the schedule analysis done earlier this year showed the NFL gifted the Bills the MOST rest between opponents than any other team. Things are starting to break Buffalo's way. Now we just need to capitalize.
