  1. Not worried about any of the QBs left. Lawrence and Lance were the picks of the class.
  2. Interesting Bengals reunite WR/QB, and Miami reunites WR/QB
  3. The 9ers did it! Smartest move in the draft, imo.
  4. If Bosa is AT ALL on the table, the Packers are morons if they dont immediately pull the trigger. Heck, I'd do it for #3 and Bosa alone.
  5. I was worried about this for a second as well. But no way they have the trade capital to pull it off. 9ers are having troubles getting it done and they have #3 and Jimmy G and others.
  6. Seems like a classic "reach on position" trap. Would rather have Etienne. And I've been pounding the drum to build the DL since last offseason.
  7. This is why I'm so surprised the Jets seem set to draft Darnold 2.0 (Wilson) instead of Allen 2.0 (Lance).
  8. Maybe that's what the GM was thinking when they drafted Love? 🤷‍♂️🤣
  9. I purposely left her out of my post. I typically like her, and am 50/50 on her on the show. She has decent takes, but gets pulled into the "har har"ness of the show too much. I actually think if they reworked the show to have Dan and Ryan as the main commentators, that Mina would make a good host. Give me Mina as the host, with Dan, Ryan, and another decent commentator and they'd be back on track. Laura and Marcus are the worst tho.
  10. I like it. Doesnt get us the immediate big-splash help on D I am hoping for any day now. But it's tough to argue with adding even more weapons to the offense given the way the league is setup. And I agree that Lance should be the choice at #3 (and could maybe even argue #2).
  11. My only comment is, outside of Dan Orlovsky and the rare appearances by Ryan Clark, NFL Live is completely unwatchable. The WORST show about football on TV. Laura Rutledge and Marcus Spears should never be hired to discuss football in any capacity.
  12. And funny that both McDermott and Harbaugh are from the Reid tree!
  13. Jiminy Crickets, I had already forgotten the details of that trade. THREE 1sts, and not for the #1 or even the #2 overall! Horrible trade. And with the Dolphins no less. Ugh.
  14. I imagine that during the offseason, and especially in the lead up to the draft, there are all sorts of wild offers made between various teams. Lot of it is just testing the waters, starting conversations that lead to other/real topics, and seeing "what if".
  15. Ahh, i see this isnt your first draft day at TBD
  16. LETS GOOOOOO Only 13 more hours until we all get to say "WHO?!? eh, ok..."
  17. I was being a bit hyperbolic. Of course he'll need to block sometimes. But it should be few enough that we arent that worried about it. Plus, blocking IS something that can be taught.
  18. This is exactly what my experience as well. If we had these threads not even a month ago, I'd be posting differently. Heck, even last week. But after hearing the rumors, from so many different outlets, I went back and watched Etienne film with this in mind. And he really does look like a player Beane would move mountains to add to this offense. I'm just as happy with a CB, WR, OL. The only reason I shy away from DE is because of the lack of talent in this draft. But if Beane went there then I trust he knows something I dont. I still feel deep down that when the pick comes up, CB will give us the BPA left on the board. But this talk about ETN this week sure has been fun.
  19. The Bucs relied heavily on Fournette through the playoffs and he want #3 overall. KC has a 1st rd back on their team too.
  20. Exactly, @NewEra The Bills were up 9-7 in the 2nd quarter against KC, and desperately needed to sustain the drive and get some points (especially a TD). Instead Singletary dropped an easy pass and killed the drive. We punt to KC who goes right down the field for a TD, takes the lead, and never looks back. Sustaining drives and keeping Mahomes off the field is the best way to defend KC.
  21. Dont make me defend Shaq when I never said anything worth defending. My statement was literally: He did alright... considering... Considering he was taken at #19, not top-10 or even top half of the round. Considering he was forced upon us/Whaley by Rex who just had to have him for his system. Considering there wasnt another DE in the 2016 draft that we would have been better off taking, looking at who went in the rest of the 1st and 2nd. You could say Ngakoue who went in the 3rd, but that would have been a reach and not in Rex's system (see above). Considering he had a bad shoulder and needed surgery. Etc... Considering all that, he did alright. Not great. Alright. But certainly less of a bust than Watkins and Spiller given their relative draft positions. I also believe that if he had returned to Buffalo instead of going to Miami, he would have had a better season last year. Anyways. On to ETN
  22. Disagree. He should be out in the flat catching the hot route pass and turning it up field for 15 yards. If we keep him in to block at all, THEN it is a wasted pick.
