  1. Count me in the group that was thoroughly entertained by Millen and his unpolished style. Maybe it was the blowout of Miami that helped lighten the mood, but he had me cracking up a couple of times. And we were even commenting on it in the group chats. I wouldnt mind more of him this season. And very straight forward. After Waddle muffed the punt his quote was "Terrible. That is just terrible football. That's all I have to say about it. If you're not ready to catch the ball, then get off the field." Love it.
  2. Folks jump to say this about Hard Knocks, but it never has been, and I dont remember anyone ever complaining about it. These guys already have a ton of media and stuff in their lives. It becomes part of the job. And most of the time, the Hard Knocks cameras are just stand-alone surveillance cameras setup in the room. I think the idea of it being a distraction only comes from us commoners who dont already have the news/media hovering over us 24/7 like the players do.
  3. If anyone is interested in mining new coins, there's a really cool opportunity coming up with PLANET and ALGO. Using these really cool air quality sensors: https://store.getawair.com/products/awair-element The sensors are neat just from a gadget standpoint. The fact that they'll soon be mining ~25 PLANETs a day (currently trading at $.40) is even better.
  4. This is it exactly. Public funding for the stadium equals the locals pitching in to have an NFL team in a city that would otherwise never be able to justify it. Spread that cost out over the entire state (read: Albany, NYC, etc), and that cost becomes much more reasonable and worth it for all us Bills fans. I dont think the team will move anytime soon, but if we don't play along and compromise, then we absolutely set ourselves up for losing the team at some point in the future.
  5. And if they kept the same hiring practices they use for Towel Girls, they could sell out every game!
  6. Oh I know, just a good excuse to point out when that quote was said since so many associate it with the Bills.
  7. To be fair, that is what he said when he bought the Sabres. For barely $190M. Little different when you fork over $1.4BILLION in cash. Plus, I'd rather he not do any more fracking if possible. Delta Sonic Stadium has a nice ring to it.
  8. Doubtful. NYS has one of the highest vaccination rates in the country. 62% fully vaxxed, and ~70% with at least 1 dose. And that is with a large population too. Erie County itself is at 59% fully vaccinated, and 64% with 1 dose. Literally 2 out of every 3 people. A lot less likely that folks will be traveling from places like Georgia (43%), NC (48%), Florida (55%), or even Pennsylvania (56%) to a place that requires vaccinations.
  9. Ah, I see you "did your own research"
  10. Serious question: Is joint agreement the same as joint decision?
  11. Erie County since it is their building, as far as I know. Which brings up an interesting side point: how much of this will resonate with the Pegulas when thinking about having the new stadium publicly funded versus owning it themselves and setting their own rules?
  12. Christian Scientists, and mayyyybe Jehovah Witnesses. The only religions that I can think of that are actually against vaccines in general.
  13. whoa whoa whoa, asking a lot here. and it's my personal choice to not have to think!
  14. ugh, well this has ruined my day... i love norm. like truly loved the dude. time to post some classic vids... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5F6dXcW-_Fc
  15. Perfect, go back to school.
  16. I think the free and easy shot is the work around.
  17. Also, I assume the logistics of the local testing sites having to process ~60,000 tests every Thursday simply doesnt work out.
  18. Exactly what I was just typing as well. They gave everyone a shot at self-management and responsibility, and the people blew it big time.
  19. I'm just hear for the tears.
  20. Is that the Bills' focus, or the difference in QB personalities/talent? I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that there have been plenty of short/intermediate plays called that Josh himself turned into home run attempts. It is the same offense and playbook Daboll had when he was in New England. It's just a matter of which parts he is using here, and how the players are executing it differently. We absolutely have those same running plays and short yardage pass plays. We've used them before. We just didnt on Sunday. Which is what makes it even more frustrating.
  21. This is literally the Patriots offense that they ran for 20 years, won 6 Super Bowls, and built a dynasty with. I dont think the overall scheme of "pass first, use short passes as your running game" is the issue, as much as it was the specific game plan and play calling out of that offense in a single week. The frustrating part is there are huge parts of that scheme which arent 5-wide and which utilize RBs and TEs. He just refused to use it on Sunday, which is a problem. 3 years into this scheme, it should have been fairly easy to adjust to something everyone is familiar with. He simply refused to.
