  1. Great additions to the list. Milloy and Fitzy for sure.
  2. Great list. I put a line in where I'd separate the candidates for "Best Ever" from a group that is just "very good". Sanders and Beasely could still work their way up, but they need to either string a couple of great seasons together, or make some amazing plays that directly contribute to a Super Bowl victory season.
  3. OOh, good one with Ted. He's up there. Reminds me to throw Sam Adams' name out there. A good one, but likely not "best ever".
  4. Bryce Paup, Takeo Spikes, James Lofton Just off the top of my head for throwing options out there.
  5. Yeah. It's obvious that Gruden didnt get ousted for the bigotry. The League released the emails because he insulted Goodell. The Bud removed him from the Ring because he insulted the owner. He likely resigned because he knew that as a Head Coach, he could not properly do his job when all the bosses were pissed at him, and he would forever be their target. Typical NFL. Absolutely nothing new for the brand.
  6. I think this is what got him ousted from the league more than anything else. The Office could live with the bigotry, but not the shot at Goodell, and this was all a show of power.
  7. Yeah, this was a targeted hit job. And now looking worse...
  8. And Antonio Brown still plays on their team.
  9. Very true. GMFB has hyped up the Bills extensively the last 2 mornings. But at some point, there isnt much else to say. Yes it is easier to tear down. But there is also a lot more to discuss when talking about the losing team and what went wrong and how they can fix it. This board is a great example of that. During the drought years, we had long, deep threads about how to fix the franchise. New HC? Which one? New GM? Which players need replacing? What types of gameplans should they be running instead? etc etc Now that we are winning, the talk doesnt get so deep because it's tough to expand on "Isn't Josh Allen AWESOME?!" "Yeah, he is!"
  10. This. I'll assume no one in this thread has any social media profiles or apps installed on their phones? #DeleteFacebook
  11. Well, for 99.9% of its existence, yes, of course it has. Likely still mostly does today. All the way down to the players. Not just the language, but a disregard for players' safety and health, sheltering and protecting domestic abusers, drug dealers, weapons dealers, etc. That is something we have all reconciled and decided to remain fans. But I'm trying to find the hypocrisy in Gruden resigning vs having Eminem/Dr Dre be the halftime entertainment. No one fired Gruden, he was barely ran out, and was even safe after the first round of emails.
  12. Considering Gruden wasnt fired by anyone at the NFL office or the Raiders, but rather chose to leave... Considering the Raiders had all of these emails for at least a week beforehand, and did nothing, letting Gruden coach as recently as 48 hours ago... What exactly has the league done to Gruden that they arent doing to the halftime entertainers?
  13. I had finally just gotten rid of my priapism.
  14. Ok, but if he DID... Eric Washington on staff has some DC experience. But not sure I'm hot on that idea. Any outside candidates?
  15. So the real question becomes... Who replaces Frazier on the Bills staff?
  16. Didnt they just change a rule or policy regarding no interviews during the playoffs at all so SB coaches dont lose out?
  17. Yes, Allen was the only one from the WFT/NFL.
  18. Which question? BA was the one who received these emails. Of course he wasnt going to report him because he's a scumbag too. He's already been ousted tho, so not much left to do.
  19. Speak for yourself. I am not getting canceled. Not ever worried about it either. Another paradox/fallacy to read up on! Youre really nailing them today. Paradox of Tolerance Or else what?
  20. So cancel the NFL? 🙄 Slippery Slope Fallacy
  21. Not rationalizing anything. Simply explaining how the league views it and the obvious differences over what they are ultimately responsible for. You can want to cancel those guys, and everyone else, as much as you want. All good. Probably would do best taking it to twitter if you want real results.
  22. I know you werent defending Gruden. My point is that there really isnt much hypocrisy since Gruden is an NFL employee, face of the franchise, and major decision maker who wields a ton of power across the league. The other guys are just hired help to fill 10 minutes. I used that term on purpose since we are discussing racial issues, and to point out how the League views the entertainers differently than Head Coaches. Good catch. But noted that you are all for pushing cancel culture as far and wide as possible.
  23. I expect more of a buy-out/push-out then any major lawsuit. "Look what we did to Jon Gruden with just a couple emails. Here are piles and piles of evidence showing what a scumbag you are. You can be bought out, take your BILLIONS, and leave. Or it all goes public during trial." Seems pretty easy.
