First sentence is correct. Wilson failed to complete a TD all day and closed on an INT. Second sentence is hilarious, but made up by the parody account. Great parody account, btw. Same one that tricked a lot of us regarding Kelvin Benjamin being cut for "stealing food". -
Josh was joking with him. First said he wanted to throw the ball to the fans, then told the guy to go over there so he could throw it to him, implying that guy is "a fan". It's gotta be tough trying to do your job and take care of these athletes as much as possible, and then they are making dry jokes at the same time. Not sure I wouldnt get tripped up as well. It would have gone over much better had he said it to one of his peers like Diggs.

Tasker & Brown don't know the cap rules
DrDawkinstein replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the point they were trying to make (albeit poorly) is that the Bills get to spread some of the new deal money over Josh's low rookie deal. Whether they get to spread it out over 5 or 8 years is less the point than being able to move future money into this year where he is only set to make $10M. Before this thread, I too thought the Bills could spread it out over 8 years. But I am not a pro, and oh well. At least we still get to use this year on a deal that doesnt start until 2023. -

Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028

Fair enough, but I always expect/am never surprised by a player revolt in Miami. Seems to happen every other year. -
Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028
DrDawkinstein replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not much since this has shown to be an extension, and Josh will be playing on his 5th year option. Not $43M. Plus, good GMs find the money. The cap is a myth. -

lol, WHOA BUDDY, slow your roll there. Was just going off a couple tweets (neither Mort's nor Schefter's said extension) and why I said I'm waiting to see confirmed. Never said it was determined either way. -
Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028

This is the key Im waiting to see confirmed. All reports sound like it's a new deal starting now. Would be kinda bummed about that one small thing, but I'd get over it quick. -
Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028
DrDawkinstein replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You might still think that, but that sentiment has changed in Miami. His first year? Sure. They were tanking and he got the best out of a bad team. But last year? It can be argued he bungled the QB situation, and then the classic "Win and In" against the Bills backups... and the backups hung 50 on him. YIKES! He is in full on Prove It mode. -
Josh Allen: Contract extended through 2028

Yeah, $17M career earnings, probably $8-10M in the bank. I'd take it, but damn... -

Probably feels real bad right now to be Josh Rosen. -
Deion Sanders just had a meltdown about the same thing now that he is coaching a college team. Told the media they wouldn't call Coach Saban "Nick", and the media were like "uhh, we do all the time". That kind of demand reeks of insecurity and demanding respect instead of being able to earn it. Giants coaching search begins now.

Easy. Power and control. Going to this model allows the Conferences to get rid of the NCAA. They can easily sign the small teams to deals similar to what they already have since those small teams arent going to have much choice. Join the new conference, or get left out of college football completely.

Yeah, when you arent a starter and do something dumb the first week of camp... you become the lesson. -
Madden 22 Team Ratings: Bills 6th at 86
DrDawkinstein replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good to be back at the top and grouped with the winners, but yeah, they are off a little bit. TB and KC... fine. GB at 89... ok But then should have Bills at 88 Ravens 87 Cleveland 86 IMO. Of course, that is an opinion of a Bills fan. But we should be ahead of the Ravens, and certainly the Browns. May have made more sense to go... TB 92 KC 91 GB 90 Bills 89 Ravens 88 Browns 87 -
Fair enough, but other than getting lucky with some land deals and being able to engineer some fracking projects, it's not like the Pegulas have proved to be some universe-brained masterminds at any of this either. They showed up in 2014 and considered the most impressive person they met to be... Russ Brandon. They are lucky they managed to get someone with Jerry Jones' experience in their corner. It's possible his company leaked all this. Which makes the Austin thing even more unlikely considering no way he'd let another NFL team into his market, but would be a known, convenient "threat" to throw out there as an example.
