You doubt that Beasley came off the field frustrated after a 3rd and 10 play that went for 5 yards and saw him take a hard shot? I think some posters dont understand how often "heated" exchanges happen on NFL sidelines during games. Guys pop off in the heat of the moment, and move on. Maybe it wasnt directed at McD, which even the OP has said could have been the case. I just dont get why people find it so hard to believe. Especially with someone like Bease who wears his emotions on his sleeve.

Bring him in now so we have him for depth in the playoffs, but more importantly, for next year. I'm expecting this is the last year for Hughes and Addison. That leaves us with basically ONLY our picks left. Epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham. Shaq would be a good young-ish vet to round out that group. Could pair them as Rousseau/Shaq and Epenesa/Basham, so we have a pass rusher as well as a run stopper on the field at the same time. Or mix and match depending on the situation.

Ah yeah, thought timing might have something to do with it. Thanks!

Kudos to JP21. A little recognition.

Dude has been playing lights out this season. Possibly his best season with us yet, and that is saying something. Great to see his camaraderie, leadership, and success. -
Does he have to clear waivers as a vet?

Bills finished 6th in rushing(5th in YPC) and 11th in passing

Ehh, Josh takes some hits, but none are as destructive and damaging as the type of hits Cam was taking. Josh has a better way of dishing it out and absorbing the hit than just getting crushed like other QBs. It's always a concern with him running, but I'm less concerned than I would be with some other players. -
The biggest mistake everyone from the Belichick coaching tree keeps making: They arent Belichick, they dont have the wins he does. You cant be that big of a dick and not win.

He was the only unvaxxed player (and we have plenty of them) to cry on social media and make a spectacle of himself and the team. None of our other unvaxxed guys broke the team code and popped off like that. And therefore, none of our other unvaxxed players get the hate Beasley does. Because it isnt about being vaxxed or not. It's about keeping it within the team or not. He was the only one who couldnt manage to do it. But I know this wont stop you from trying to be his white knight, so keep on acting oppressed and offended.

Bills fans complaining about coaching...

Leave Josh out there and have him pooch punt it. Could not have been worse than Haack yesterday. Even Hyde said in the postgame that the wind was as bad as the first NE game, and the ball moves a lot while in the air, and he was not about to catch it on the fly. He even said "I was not about that life today" to use the parlance of our times. Which to me, directly illustrates the better decision making and situational awareness he brings over McKenzie and Stevenson. Both of which feel the need to catch it and make a return in order to "prove themselves". Clouds their decision making, when the best play is to let it bounce and make sure no other Bills touch it. -
Agreed with Boatdrinks, you'll prob need to be downtown. But you might want to first identify Sports Bars in the area and go from there. Since Buffalo doesnt attract a lot of transplants, and is a big Home Team Town, there are not a lot of traditional Sports Bars like you find in other cities. So first question: Which Sports Bars do you plan on hanging out at?

It should be Hyde back for all kicks now that we are in the playoffs. He has the best hands and the best decision making. I dont care about the other guys' speed. Can't have costly mistakes on STs in the playoffs. -

I mean, the first mistake here is taking anything said in the gameday thread seriously, or as a representation of "Bills Fans". Emotions are high during the game. Passing statements made in frustration that you'd say to your buddy and then both move on, don't translate as well into forum posts. We've all bitched about stuff during games only to be proven wrong the next play and act like "I've always liked that guy!". It's part of the fun of gameday. The gameday threads close immediately for a reason. Leave them behind. -
Did not see it on the broadcast, but did notice him getting up very slowly and limping a lot all game. Slow coming off the line too. I think his body is failing him.

Not sure this was such a great post you had to spin it off into it's own thread. But I'll reply with the same thing I did in the other thread... Consistency. Just because the total points scored is high, it doesnt say anything about the pace or deviation of how those points were put up. This offense seems so feast or famine. We are either rolling, or putting on a clown show, no in between. A big part of that is bad game plans and play-calling and not allowing our O to play to its strengths or develop a rhythm. Yay! We hung 40 and 43 on the likes of Houston and Washington, but couldnt muster 1 FG per Quarter to beat the Jags. Great season, not taking that away. But there is always room for improvement. Especially when talking about the difference between a Playoff team and a Super Bowl Championship team. -

Please stop with these "Here is our overall stat from the entire season so there must not be a problem" posts. The cumulative stats tell us NOTHING. If folks dont see a huge consistency problem with the way our Offense operates then that's on you. Decision making and playcalling in very specific times is the issue. Not the overall stats that were heavily padded by a few blowouts against cupcakes. -
2nd and 3rd quarter…….we should’ve been a run 1st offense
DrDawkinstein replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Simply kicking 1 FG per quarter would have beat the Jags and avoided the worst loss in recent franchise history, and we couldnt even pull that off. Glad we are having general success, but need to get that stuff fixed. -

Bummer since we owned him, and I could see them pursuing Daboll (regardless of Harbaugh rumors). But HC turnover every 3 years is never good either, so I'm fine with the Miami tire fire still burning.

Player performance does not happen in a vacuum. I fully believe both would have continued to perform at/near their 2019 level if they had been kept. Shaq's role was changed drastically, and JPhillips lack of production was due to injuries which were sustained after he left the Bills' award winning Strength & Conditioning team. They were the swagger of our DLine and I dont think we lose to Tenn last year had they been here. As for overpayment. They were paid $10M/yr compared to Vernon Butler's $7.5M, and Jefferson's $7M. Not that big of a difference, and those guys didnt/dont do much for us either. Beane can rework the cap numbers as needed. I'm not going to fret over a few million of Terry's money either way. You can have your opinion. All good. But that's the logic behind my statement, and I stand by it.

I'm all for bringing him back. We shouldve kept him and JPhillips as it was. Now we get him back cheaper. Hughes and Addison are on their way out. Snag him as depth for the playoff run, and a young vet presence next year.
