  1. They made this tweet after winning last year's opener. They havent won a game SINCE.
  2. Wade was not Marv. Wade didnt have multiple SB appearances, let alone wins.
  3. This would be a tragedy, and I dont see why it would have to be the case. For as much as we are in Nickel, and for what Taron contributes, the Bills would be better off paying him #2CB money, and leaving the actual #2 spot as a more revolving door. I think(hope) McBeane will see it that way as well.
  4. Did we run Marv out of town? Certainly not at the end of his coaching. And not even at the end of his disastrous GM days. Heck, we're the fans that chanted and cheered for Scott Norwood after SB25. I don't see Buffalonians putting up a billboard mocking our greatest coach ever during his last years.
  5. What a bunch of classless pricks. Not at all surprised tho. Belichick leads them to a 20 year dynasty and 6 Super Bowls, and they trash him on the way out. Disgusting, but right in line with typical Pats fan behavior.
  6. My only concern is how often (almost always) he is playing with his mouthpiece out and dangling. That is a concussion waiting to happen.
  7. We were sitting right behind the medical table on Sunday. After some initial diagnosis and re-taping, he was fine on the sideline. Even dancing and hopping around at the end of the game. Wouldnt even know he was dinged up. He'll be fine for Sunday.
  8. I think that's right, but we never went in before the games. The tailgate in the lot is too fun and its way too crowded in the bar as it is.
  9. Any of the bar lots on the corner. Should be able to get into O'Neill's at that time. Or the California Drive lot. Really any of the private lots will all be good times. That's one of the best parts of going to the game, no matter where you park or wander pre-game, you are walking through a constant party.
  10. Not a huge Brady fan by any means, but I am absolutely hoping to see him come back into New England and kick their asses up and down the field. Or better yet, have NE in the lead in the 4th quarter and Brady do his typical thing and lead the Bucs to a comeback victory. Let the Mass-holes get a taste of what everyone else has had to deal with for the past 20 years.
  11. I think Amazon is the only supplier that I regularly deal with who I've seen follow that rule. I currently have 3 charges on my card for various gadgets that won't ship until Oct/Nov, but are full-on charges.
  12. Honestly, I missed last night's broadcast. Game 2 was the one I caught most of. Good to hear, hopefully they have it fixed.
  13. Agreed. The only annoyance is that the brothers arent in the same room for some reason and having to deal with the lag. Would be way better if they were together.
  14. Ah, so not fanatics. Thanks!
  15. Right. But you say "a 3rd party took over online orders". I believe that 3rd party handling online orders for the Bills and NFL is Fanatics. Even if you order through shop.buffalobills.com the order is processed through and by Fanatics. Last I heard anyways. Was asking if they told you who that 3rd party is.
  16. I believe Fanatics.com took over the online portion of NFL stores. Is that who they are referring you to? Also, is it a custom jersey? If it is Fanatics, I can attest that sometimes they can take WEEKS to fulfill a simple order. Especially during August and September when everyone is ordering new gear for the new season. But it will get to you eventually.
  17. I'm a big college football fan, living in the heart of SEC country, and follow Bama pretty closely... I've NEVER heard it argued that it is the Bama QBs who carry the team. It is ALWAYS that the running game and defense make up the heart of the team. Tua has been the only true passing QB that Bama has had in recent memory. Bama QBs have always been overlooked in the draft (and rightfully so). I think Jones rode a little of Tua's passing hype, but folks still knew what Jones was. I dont think Young will get much hype coming out unless his game improves greatly.
  18. Not only have we played our extra game already, but just as importantly, the Chiefs havent played any NFC teams yet. They have 2 valuable losses to AFC teams, and we have a win over an NFC team that will end up dragging us down.
  19. Great post. One thing I'd add though is that while RBs were more highly regarded back then, it was still a QB-centric game. Always has been. OJ, for all of his awards, records, and success, only played in ONE playoff game his entire career. Even all of the early Super Bowl winners were built around a QB, not a RB. The 1967 Packers were built around Bart Starr, to the point their GM left star HB Paul Hornung unprotected in the expansion draft (and New Orleans scooped him right up). The Jets in SB 3 were about Namath. Cowboys, etc. It's more that the Bills, and specifically Ralph Wilson, never really understood the importance of having a star/quality QB and thought they could just run the ball to a championship. But whether we knew it or not, the game has always revolved around the QB.
  20. Yeah, at this point, watching Greeny meltdown about how horribly the Jets are managed is the only part worth watching.
  21. Holy cow, what a blast from the past of my adolescent days...
  22. I was a long time, dedicated Mike & Mike viewer, and havent been back to ESPN in the Morning since they went off air. There isnt a decent ESPN Morning show. I've switched over to GMFB on NFL Network as my morning show, and catch up with other sporting news on PTI. Once PTI is done, there will be no more commentary shows on ESPN for me. Just college football.
  23. Time to cancel @Gugny?
  24. I gotta disagree from what I saw being at the game (no all-22 film). It seemed like there was plenty of space for Moss to run through at the line, and he was regularly getting to the 2nd level. His 4.6 avg would indicate that as well. Just because a DLineman was making the tackles doesnt mean the play was stopped at the line. Sweat was often hustling back downfield from the backside to make those tackles. I even had to check at one point to see if they were playing him off the ball as a LB because he was making tackles 5-6 yards downfield. I thought the run blocking was "good enough" to at least give the Defense something to think about and stay honest, and let us move the ball.
