  1. I get it I guess, especially Feliciano with the concussion. Just hope we arent overlooking the Texans... Also, likely we still win, but now won't cover that -17.5 points.
  2. True. Plus it just isnt conducive to a "show". The NFL wants a "show", not a concert, not 5 guys standing on stage playing instruments for 4-5 songs. They want dancers, and costumes, and props, and sets, and special effects, and a big production. Good luck getting James Hetfield to ride a big golden lion Or dance with sharks
  3. Rock isnt dead. It's just back in the clubs and dive bars. Not many new rock acts that can hold up on the BIG stage, nor do they put on a flashy show with dancers and sets and props and all the extras that go into actual entertainment outside of just music. Not even sure which semi-older acts you'd be able to find. QOTSA, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam? (All those guys are in their 50s now btw) But outside of playing 3-4 songs, what is "the show" going to look like? Where is all the flash and big show for something the scale of the Super Bowl?
  4. If/when the Super Bowl goes through Dallas next, I could see him getting the nod. They've been sticking to a "home town" theme when possible. Like this SB in LA, and Big Boi and Travis Scott in Atlanta, etc. Must be real old, because Dr Dre hit the scene over 35 years ago, and Snoops famous debut album dropped 30 years ago. Even Eminem is coming up on 25 years! (Crap, I'M getting old!)
  5. Both Mayfield and Herbert have far better talent around them, and protecting them, than what Burrow has dealt with.
  6. Shoulda kicked the FG before half. Get points. This is the NFL, Urban.
  7. If you were really ambitious, you could see all of them tonight!
  8. I'm for it! Decent halftime distraction while Josh and the boys are onto their 1st
  9. No to the stadium being in Amherst. Yes to UB moving their games to a new downtown, domed stadium.
  10. This is what I've been expecting and was surprised by your thread that said UB wasnt interested, but I also figured that might simply be an early negotiation position. Build the downtown dome. Move UB in on Saturdays. Get the MAC championship. Get a Bowl game. Get the State High School Championship. Get the X-Games. Get the Final Four. Lots of opportunities if done right. Or build an open air stadium in OP, and have it used 10 times a year...
  11. Not your keys, not your coins!
  12. Picked up some more ALGO today. That is all.
  13. If a coach were to bring us even ONE Super Bowl victory... heck, he could bang my wife for all I care. Let alone SIX!?! He could kick my dog while banging my wife. And afterwards the only billboard I would put up would say "Thanks for the Lombardi Trophy!"
  14. Has this staff given us 6 Super Bowl wins and one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history? Cmon. It isnt even comparable, and we've still never treated our winning coaches this poorly.
  15. Trying to make a distinction between being the HC/GM at the same time, or separately, is a big stretch. Marv never even won a SB for us, he came back and was a crappy GM. He is still treated as a highly respected LEGEND among the Bills and Bills fans, and rightfully so.
  16. They made this tweet after winning last year's opener. They havent won a game SINCE.
  17. Wade was not Marv. Wade didnt have multiple SB appearances, let alone wins.
  18. This would be a tragedy, and I dont see why it would have to be the case. For as much as we are in Nickel, and for what Taron contributes, the Bills would be better off paying him #2CB money, and leaving the actual #2 spot as a more revolving door. I think(hope) McBeane will see it that way as well.
  19. Did we run Marv out of town? Certainly not at the end of his coaching. And not even at the end of his disastrous GM days. Heck, we're the fans that chanted and cheered for Scott Norwood after SB25. I don't see Buffalonians putting up a billboard mocking our greatest coach ever during his last years.
  20. What a bunch of classless pricks. Not at all surprised tho. Belichick leads them to a 20 year dynasty and 6 Super Bowls, and they trash him on the way out. Disgusting, but right in line with typical Pats fan behavior.
  21. My only concern is how often (almost always) he is playing with his mouthpiece out and dangling. That is a concussion waiting to happen.
  22. We were sitting right behind the medical table on Sunday. After some initial diagnosis and re-taping, he was fine on the sideline. Even dancing and hopping around at the end of the game. Wouldnt even know he was dinged up. He'll be fine for Sunday.
  23. I think that's right, but we never went in before the games. The tailgate in the lot is too fun and its way too crowded in the bar as it is.
  24. Any of the bar lots on the corner. Should be able to get into O'Neill's at that time. Or the California Drive lot. Really any of the private lots will all be good times. That's one of the best parts of going to the game, no matter where you park or wander pre-game, you are walking through a constant party.
