LeBron James has hopped on the Josh Allen train
DrDawkinstein replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is sad and annoying. Regardless of how anyone personally feels about Lebron, he's the greatest/most recognizable American athlete in the world right now. Pretty cool to give Josh a shout out. Go Bills! American politics and race relations. This thread was headed to PPP the second it was started with all the easily-triggered folks here.- 48 replies

10/3/21 Gameday Bills vs. Texans Postgame Thread
DrDawkinstein replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Would be real nice if he pans out. Have both Tackle spots locked up with young players. Move the focus to Center and Guard next offseason. Shore up the OL for a long time. -
No, I dont think we've received any further info yet, but reports were that Milano was walking and horsing around on the sidelines the rest of the game just fine, so it seemed very minor. Plus, it just seemed like the theme for this week from our coaching staff, any excuse to pull starters, they were going to take it. I'm not overly concerned until I hear good reason to be.
-
Game plan and resting guys for KC. It was obvious the moment Poyer showed up on the injury report that the staff would be looking for any excuse to pull starters from this game. Similar thing happened with Milano's hamstring. Any bit of tightness? Pull him and let him rest for KC. I think between being in a more run-heavy defense, and Boogie activated, and wanting to keep rookies fresh for a 17 game season (plus playoff run), added up to Rousseau getting less snaps. Same for Epenesa. Same for a lot of guys. Nothing to worry about. Just a smart coach utilizing a roster that has good depth.

Great point. I'd add signing Dawkins long-term was another step in that direction. But the big changes should come next offseason. Would like to see a Center and a Guard drafted early. Interior OL drafted back to back like DE. -

Wouldnt worry about it until we learn more. The staff was just begging for reasons to pull starters today. It seemed more precautionary than anything, and Milano was walking and jumping around on the sidelines the rest of the game. -
Does anybody go to the stadium just to tailgate?
DrDawkinstein replied to r00tabaga's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, of course people still do. We had a few friends show up just for the tailgate when a bunch of us came back to town for the Washington game. Some left the tailgate at noon to get home for the game. Some stuck around, I think at O'Neills. I'm sure there were folks who stayed in the lot and watched on a TV in the camper/van. There are no rules or restrictions hampering this in any way. -
Good point. If that deal can get done, then it is a no-brainer. BUT... who knows if it happens. And if it does, you also need to start planning for the future with another QB draft pick, and hopefully Rodgers is ok with that. Also, I think I'd rather go to the Bears in the NFC North if the Pack lose Rodgers. Than Denver (even with Rodgers) and having to deal with Mahomes and Herbert (and even the Raiders playing well).

Over the Air is higher def than what cable can do since cable is limited by bandwidth. -
4 Texans that Could Start on the Bills

Dont believe everything you hear on OnlyFans, they'll tell you anything you want to hear while youre paying. -
Taron questionable as well tho.

You are... CORRECT. Sorry, saw the 5 and assumed it was 75. Should have watched the whole clip. Good catch, thanks!

They should. If a new UB stadium is going to cost, what? $500M? Then we are really only looking at an additional $700M. And a lot of that expense that goes into improving and expanding infrastructure is a good spend and not a waste when it is spent downtown where more people are likely to use it on a day-to-day basis.

I will forever love Shady for the story of him bringing in a bunch of paper cutout targets and throwing them on Watkins' desk after Sammy said he needed more targets. I can just picture him sitting home the night before, all female party raging in the background, ladies in bikinis twerkin and pouring champagne on each other, and Shady in the corner ignoring it all, printing targets out of his HP InkJet, and intently cutting them out. True vet leader move.

edit: I was wrong, that is #65 Boettger, not #75 at RG. Thank you @MasterStrategist The end of the Washington game when we put in our 2nd stringers. Per that clip that is posted of Brown pancaking Payne. I'm looking at this clip...

Trubisky under center, Bates at Center D Williams Boettger at RG Spencer Brown at RT Tommy Sweeny at TE Given this was our "2nd string" lineup, wonder if we dont see Brown at RT, Williams at RG, and Ford kick over to LG with Feliciano out. That's a lot of shifting around for one guy going out, but might give us the best OL options.

Thurs nite football: Jaguars at Bengals
DrDawkinstein replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The main difference is Bengals have their QB. A couple years of 7-10 could still help them improve. Their main problem now is the rest of their division.
