  1. He is the example that every young professional athlete should follow, unless they already have a ride or die chick that goes all the way back to high school (i.e. before they were rich and famous). Dated random 20 year old models his whole career. No marriages, no kids. Then once he retired in his 40s, married whatever 20 year old model he was dating at the time. GOAT
  2. Leo wins by a landslide then. Only one who could really compete with Leo is Jeter in his single days.
  3. Could have a lot to do with it according to the reports that it was her who was mainly influencing him to "holistic" methods like eating special mud. Plus, 3 months in celebrity lives is like 2 weeks of relationships for us. He's been playing football up until a couple weeks ago, she was likely off filming something... Might be the first time theyve had to spend some real time together since November (and no one wants to break up during the holidays).
  4. It means get ready for at least 5 months of ***** posting, with a sprinkling of decent draft and FA talk here and there! At least we (most likely) wont all be fighting about COVID all spring.
  5. At the final whistle of the Super Bowl. It's the OFFSEASON BABY! Anything goes.
  6. How does McD not walk over to Bass, grab him by the facemask, and tell him exactly what he wants? There was sooooo much time to get the call right.
  7. It's all subjective, and a case can certainly be made. Mahomes and Allen Burrow and Herbert It's a fun discussion, and I'm thrilled our guy is part of the short list. No more Manning/Brady boring crap.
  8. Q still coming out of his stance and Donald is already by him. LOL
  9. First, it's McVay. Literally the easiest of the spelling possibilities. No need for extra letters folks That said, the Rams could lose a lot of folks to retirement if they so decided. Whitworth is almost a certainty. McVay at Head Coach. Aaron Donald and Von Miller. Matt Stafford. Weddle is going BACK to retirement. I have to imagine he is fine trading the torn pec for a Super Bowl ring. Hekker is getting up there, but punters can go to 40. Still a pretty decent list, and I wouldnt blame any of them. But I think Whitworth is the only one that actually retires.
  10. Folks can complain about the Coinbase QR code commerical, but it worked so well and drove so much traffic that it crashed their site for a minute. I think they'd count that as a success.
  11. One could argue that conditioning comes from having the heart to put in the extra work. Although, in all fairness, I'm not sure it's possible for a guy that big who moves that fast and strong to not get winded quickly. Up to Beane to figure it out in interviews I guess. I'd see him rotating with Phillips and playing next to Oliver. Which brings me to thinking about Oliver and Davis out there at the same time...
  12. Have a father as a known coach, play in the league at QB as well. These guys can fail their way to the top. See: Nathaniel Hackett.
  13. I'm fine with it if he's actually there and Beane actually picks him. It would mean he's cleared any concerns Beane would have regarding Davis's conditioning and commitment. He'd probably be better off in our rotation anyways, and #25 is easier to risk on a big guy with concerns than #3 overall (Dareus). Love him as a player when he is on and active. He would be just what our DL needs, physically. Just not sure about the head and the heart.
  14. It should be noted that the last 2 quotes posted about Dorsey and Tierney are NOT Beane's comments. He was only asked about the first question regarding Schoen leaving. The rest, regarding Dorsey's playcalling and the change to the QB room, is all Timmy G.
  15. This is tough when the list includes SO MANY players that won't be available at #25. I'd be thrilled with any of the UGA players, or Elam, or Williams. I lean towards Linderbaum as well, but would be difficult to pick him over some of the other talent in this list (that, again, wont actually be available to us). If we can get a 3rd for Edmunds, then I'm picking Dean. I think I'd wait on WR until later in the draft since there seem to be a lot of WRs in this class and Beane has been good about finding WR talent later. I'd want to ensure Davis isnt Dareus2.0. Big guy who is often out of shape and sometimes takes plays off. But when he is on... ooo wee. I guess I'd flip a coin between Elam and Linderbaum. The thread isnt about who we think the Bills will want. It's who WE would want as a fan.
  16. This is actually Miami's best move of the offseason so far. Still not worried about the Dolphins, but good hire. Maybe true if comparing to the rest of the coaches already in the building, but this would pretty much guarantee an outside hire. Dude isnt even close to being ready to be an OC, and I dont know that he'll ever be. He's a great position coach, but it's a whole different level running, designing, and calling an offense.
  17. Not sure I can fully agree since scoring merely 10 points against the Jags would've put us in the #2 seed and the Chiefs game in Buffalo. I get your overall point, but football is a game of inches. The littlest things are what usually makes the difference between winning and losing, between winning a Championship and going home early.
  18. Yep, that is exactly the time the HC is supposed to step in. We all know the now famous story of Reid telling Mahomes "when things look grim, be the grim reaper". Reid didnt stand in the background not talking to anyone and letting Bienimy handle it with Mahomes. Take control, Sean!
  19. I'm not pushing to fire McD or anything crazy like that, but it BLOWS MY MIND that during the long TV timeout between TD and Kickoff McDermott didnt go directly to Bass himself, grab him by the facemask and tell him EXACTLY where to kick that ball. Even more so since we went for 2, and Bass was on the sideline, available to be coached at any moment. Same for the Defense. We called timeouts before each play. McD is directly accountable for what happened. This is literally his job to step in and set exactly what we want to do in that situation. Oh well, on to 2022...
  20. Late to this 16 page thread, but here's my two cents anyways... I dont put a single ounce of weight on that blurb mentioned in the Flores lawsuit. Folks complain about their jobs and bosses all the time, even when they are generally happy. There are lots of big egos in the NFL and they often clash. But at the end of the day, these guys are all grown adults who are focused on the same end goal. Even if there hadnt been a single disagreement the entire time Daboll was here, he is still taking the Giants HC job. And on the other side, McD has an eye on Dorsey's development as the OC-in-waiting and has been looking for an opportunity to get him promoted before we lose him. If I had to put money on it, I'd guess that everyone involved considers everyone else a friend and respected colleague.
  21. Agreed with your first sentence, but scared the Bills think differently on your second sentence. Literally almost anyone. Klein has stepped in a couple times and we havent missed a beat. As a matter of fact, iirc, Klein came in and immediately made plays and tipped balls in pass defense. If we can trade Edmunds and keep Klein at his $7M, I'm all for it.
  22. Matt Damon? 😆
  23. Giants staff is definitely already an upgrade over last year. Although that shouldnt be hard to do. I stopped following after we landed Dorsey. Did they get an OC yet?
  24. You're right. Players just show up for their job and collect their check. But the drama for the documentary isnt with the players on the field. It's with ownership, his neighbor/buddy lawyer, Easterby, and their handling of both Watson and the HC spot. And we all know the Owner and FO set the tone for the entire team.
