DHop is coming off his first injury-riddled season as he nears 30. Seems a pretty easy choice. Take something and recover from an injury stronger and 3 months faster in exchange for a 6 game suspension. Or don’t take anything, have a worse recovery, and return even later than the suspension return date.

Like pretty much every other player in the league, his whole career.

Take back the Hail Murray!

It's good for him to say this, and yes that should be the general philosophy. But it worries me if he really believes it and isnt willing to make the big move to get us over the top. Sure, we want to be a perennial winner, but a Super Bowl victory followed by a 9-8 year then a climb back to 12-5, is much better for Beane and McD's job security than going 13-4 and losing in the playoffs for the next 4 years. IMO, if you are this close, you absolutely risk mortgaging a year or two of our future in order to bring home the Lombardi. Rams did it multiple ways last year, and it paid off.
-
Good. That gives Beane something to do next offseason and earn his paycheck instead of golfing all Spring. I kid, but my point is, that can be addressed later with an entire offseason to work with.

I believe the prevailing thought was Tennessee was trying to jump us to get Elam, and partly evidenced by the fact that when we jumped Dallas and picked Elam, Titans immediately traded out of the round. So it wasnt just Dallas we were worried about.

Each RB with a Top 30 Visit, interesting....

NFL Accounting department in shambles trying to figure out how to cover $1000 worth of material.

Trade up for the RB they like the most. LET'S GOOOOOO Worry about those next year, imo. We're pushing for a Super Bowl run. We need guys who can contribute RIGHT NOW, not in 2023.

IIRC, they get a box of all 32 hats.

Game recognizes game, and Sherman is a smart dude.

Jets had a nice little draft. Got some good talent, I'll give them that. Doesnt matter tho since they still have Zach Wilson at QB.

You can try the ESPN app but im almost certain you'll need a cable provider login in order to watch. Time to hit up some family/friends for some password sharing!

He was pretty much the only person who loved the Bills Allen pick right from the jump, so I give him a pass on Clausen.

Even more hilarious knowing they are losing their LT, and are STILL going all in on trading multiple picks, including #10 overall, for a WR.

Kay Adams leaving NFL Network for Amazon

There is a HUGE difference between the Atlanta and Buffalo markets. One is home to CNN and Turner Broadcasting. The other has... Empire Sports Network? lol Local news folks in smaller towns like Buffalo probably do start out in the $75k-$90k range. But long-tenured anchors in big markets/national shows absolutely make well into 6 figures. -

No. There is nothing but assumption and bad info. But you need to be able to recognize bad info as bad info. However, personally knowing people in the industry, and knowing what some other regional and national broadcasters make (example: Rick Jeanneret's about $250k), I would feel safe assuming on this trivial topic that she makes 6-figures, in the hundredS of thousands of dollars. And that no one of that stature makes less than $100k. -

It's far safer and more accurate to assume ~$250k than believe $80k just because it's typed on a blog you can link to. The source is a general knowledge of the employment market in that industry. -

Yeah, exactly my thinking as well. -

Fair enough. All the sites that come up in google are equally untrustworthy. Just seems way low. I'd expect $175k-250k for a fulltime, national gig. However, I guess if it is only for GMFB, I guess I could see that if it is considered a part-time gig and she does other hosting/tv gigs as well. Like, if the guys are actually doing the research and pre-planning meetings, and she's just showing up for a few hours to read from the teleprompter and keep the topics moving, then maybe.
