NFL contracts arent guaranteed. Most of the time when players sign big, long term deals like this, they never see the entire thing. As details come out, we find that this contract has $32M guaranteed at signing, and a total $52M guaranteed (of the so called "$120M"). So if we break it down, it turns out we can get out of the contract after 3 or 4 years. It's essentially a 3 year/$52M contract, or 4 year/$70M contract. $17M/yr for a premier pass rusher is about right.

Added bonus: From all his time in Denver, he already hates the Chiefs.

He is going to get way more than 48%. McD abandoned the rotation in Carolina when they had the talent to justify it. I'd guess Miller will get over 65% of the snaps. Which is perfect as he gets older.

I was hopeful we'd be in play for him last year and he went to the Pats pretty quickly (iirc). I wonder if we called and he blew us off for the legend of "New England", and is seriously regretting it after how bad we beat them and how bad he has looked in our games. Settle seems like he could move to 1T tho We've played both Ed and Jordan at 1T, but I'd prefer to use them at 3T, and slide Settle to 1.

I'm not a fan of Mayfield at all but the Browns are doing him dirty. It may have been posted, but someone on twitter pointed out that the Giants and Eagles havent even treated Jones and Hurts this way. Browns and Haslam deserve to be basement dwellers. I feel bad for the fans.

Yep, was just googling to confirm, Jones is a 1T. So Settle and Jones at 1T, and Oliver and Phillips at 3T. Which is the best spot for both Ed and Jordan. Lot of nasty beef in the middle of that DL now.
