  1. Same and same. I was relieved when I went back and saw him writhing around (using his legs) and punching the turf. And I will always remember being at that game, watching the opening kickoff and seeing Everett go down. As a long time player, I knew from the moment he impacted with the blockers it was really bad. Healthy bodies dont move/flop like his did. Grabbed my dad's arm and was pointing to him while everyone was watching the ball/return. This Jackson injury was nothing like that.
  2. Ha, was editing at the same time. Under the scoreboard should be fine. I would sit there, and I'm kinda a seat snob.
  3. 200s would be Clubs/Suites. Great view, under the cover, private bar/concessions. Great views. edit: Sorry, I guess the 200s in the end zones would be out in the open and not club/suits. Still good views tho!
  4. And Leonard Fournette who carried TB through the playoffs/SB. And the Eagles relied on both Blount and Ajayi in 2017 (two big names) And the Ravens had Ray Rice when they beat SF Pretty much any SB team besides the Patriots, which skew your stat of "the last 15 years" since they won like half of them in that time.
  5. I believe the thinking is the new regime is going to want to rebuild with their own guys, and will trade away end-of-contract talent the same way Beane did (Watkins, Darby, etc). Jones is likely gone this year too, so it'll be a big reset. Might as well get some draft picks for the talent.
  6. Outside of getting heat stroke in Miami I'm not sure Brown is struggling that much. At least not enough to bother pulling him and bringing someone else in. Especially if our options are at the Daryl Williams level. He made a GREAT play on Gilliam's TD against Tenn, and has held up well enough in weeks 1 and 2 for our offense to dominate. He barely played on Sunday before having to go out. I think we're good.
  7. Lot of great nostalgia picks in here from live-action TV. One I'll throw in from left field that folks may or may not be familiar with. The greatest TV opening theme for the greatest anime series ever made...
  8. We didnt just leave Elam on an island against Hill all game. Shutting down Hill had far more to do with overall scheme. We had a late round pick starting just fine, and threw in a UDFA out of UB who was able to hold down the fort as well. None of our backup OL did as well. WRT the bold, I tend to disagree. There are a handful of very good CBs in every draft. Heck, Elam was the 4th one taken, and there will likely be good players that come from after his draft position as well. There is 1 (maybe 2) Centers at the equivalent level in each draft. Center, and anything in the trenches really, OL or DL, are premium positions for early picks too. Again, I'm fine with the Elam pick, but the Linderbaum pick sure would've helped this team. I thought Beane learned his lesson after passing on Creed Humphrey the year before, but... maybe next year.
  9. And, you know, scrambled eggs for brains.
  10. Wanting to upgrade from Morse and knowing he is better than our 2nd and 3rd string Centers are not mutually exclusive.
  11. Elam is great and all, but plenty of us were pounding the table for this kid. If we had been truly drafting for BPA instead of being forced to draft for need, who knows how Sunday goes...
  12. Was this posted in the wrong thread? It makes no sense. WRT Edmunds, I dont think he had as great a day in Miami, but no one really did. He gets credit for playing the entire game without getting injured or heat illness. That's about it. He better be ready for this Sunday in Baltimore tho.
  13. Allen takes dumps all over the field. 4th in YAC, 1st in YUC.
  14. No idea, but for sake of discussion it is safer to assume not.
  15. Yeah, I expect Morse and Brown to be back. Meaning we are only down Bates, which while not ideal, shouldn't be a huge problem.
  16. I support Dorsey 100% behind that freakout. The end of a hard-fought, divisional game. A very frustrating game for the Bills. Had a chance to stay in it until the very end only to let time run out. Good on Ken for caring. With McD's statement, I'm reminded of when Josh took the Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty for spinning the ball at the Chargers after scoring in 2020. McD went over to let him know that if he got another one of those penalties he'd be ejected from the game, so dont do it again... but, wink-wink..."love the passion, keep it up". Same thing here. Leaders are supposed to be bigger/better than that, so McD and others will say that... but... love the passion.
  17. That isnt even "heated" for an office environment, let alone a football field.
  18. We are aligned
  19. Thanks. The "late hit "I dont agree was late. As for the kick. Yes, dirty. But that is just the ref missed it, not the ref saw it but doesnt give Allen the same calls as Brady. Heck, I watched every play yesterday, rewatched a bunch last night, and this is the first I'm seeing it. It is dirty, and it's unfortunate it wasn't caught, but I don't classify that as "Josh not getting calls". QB's getting or not getting calls come down to the subjective, obvious ones. Late hits, hits at the helmet, that type of stuff. That's why I said the facemask in the end zone was really the only one that they should have given us but didnt. I dont know how the ref misses that when Josh's helmet twists. Josh gets all the typical RTP calls anyone else would get.
  20. Post me a vid because I didnt see anything on the replay other than Josh getting up mad and losing his composure and ripping off dude's helmet. Seemed like it was all stuff done while/after being tackled.
  21. We are definitely 3rd on the list because we had so many factors that were out of our control, or didnt come down to execution by starters. The Chiefs are pretty healthy and dropped one to the crappy Colts (20-17, I guess the Chiefs can't win close games). The Chargers got largely BLOWN OUT at home, having a relatively healthy team. And the one big injury they had with Herbert, they likely made even worse. The Bills had half their team out, and still managed to stay in it all game, and only lost by 2. 2 games in and the Broncos already hired an Assistant Head Coach to help Hackett with in-game decisions. Like, bro...
  22. No one is going to see the stuff that happened at the bottom of the pile. Whether it is Josh, or Brady, or Peterman.
  23. Agreed on the run game. Heck, I was one that was banging the table for drafting Travis Etienne 2 years ago. We definitely need to upgrade at Center with a more balanced player. Morse is great in pass protection, but not great in the run game. I won't bother analyzing the backups because, well, theyre backups. I dont expect them to be great or even very good. Just serviceable. Problem is, when you are on 2nd and 3rd stringers across the OL, they arent going to run or pass block well, but at least passing from the shotgun gives Josh a couple seconds and the ability to improvise. Tough game. On to Baltimore.
  24. He got a ton of calls last year, and will continue to get them this year. They changed the rule about going low into QBs, so yesterday's hit wasn't a penalty. Nothing to do with getting calls or not. They missed the facemask in the end zone. That's about it.
  25. Yall keep harping on this skewed stat that is only based in recency bias like it says anything, but it really doesnt. We win a lot. When we win, we beat teams well. The few times we do lose, teams barely beat us by only a couple points and usually due to some lucky breaks. The opposite of this is squeaking out close wins, and getting blown out in losses. But that's not how good teams work. KC has pretty much the same "issue". They win most of their games, and when they do lose, they still manage to keep it close. It's especially unfair to ask "When will Josh do it?". He already did it against the Cardinals, but the D let up a fluke Hail Mary. He already did it against the Chiefs, but the D... well we know how that went. Previous to that, he did it against the Rams at home in 2020, a game we won by 3 points. BTW, there were a few 1-score victories in 2020 (even a 3pt win in the playoffs), but folks cut them out since it wouldnt look as dramatic as saying "0-7".
